What clients say about Thrift NYC in New York (NY)

selection is a bit too curated and specific for my taste and the clothes were a bit pricy but the vibes were nice! also, it didnt smell great.

Praise God. I found Thrift NYC on accident. I was going to look for a bed 🛏️ And I don't go up that end 🔚 of 14th Street at all really anymore and if I did It was to go to Cohen Optical Amen Amen I'm Coming to a close, I know It sounds like I'm preaching Amen🙌🙏 Well I walked into Thrift NYC and they said welcome and Fleetwood Mac's song "Landslide" was playing and I looked to the left and there it was, MY #1 SPORT IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD 🌎 "NASCAR 🏎️ RACING" JACKETS AND MY BELOVED #1 FAV

Nice thrift shop located in west village. They have a huge selection of jeans, jackets, boots, belts and some shirts. Too bad I was looking for a coat. I’ll come back again. The shop is clean and organized. There is no old cloth odor. The staff were friendly and let you shop around unless you have questions or ready to check out. Great store!

Great place !abundant, styles of clothes more than enough styles to be good looking. Excellent and knowledgeable guys to help you find out what you want. Great price, highly recommended.

Just spent an amazing time with Nick, the owner of Thrift NYC. Had the kids with us and the place was just packed with all sorts of incredible finds. Sports Jerseys, military, anime hoodies, baggy jeans, patches, jackets, poster, etc. the more we looked the more we found. When Nick approached my 14 year old son (Spencer), he said "I can just eye you up for your size, I have a special gift for that". Within minutes Spencer was set up with everything he didn't think he needed, perfect size, great prices. Best shopping ever. And Nick wasn't the only one, everyone who worked at Thrift NYC was super helpful. If ever around Union Square at 14th, be sure to stop in. This small business vintage shop will surprise you. Tell Nick that Spencer sent you.

I love Thrift NYC! Everyone that works there is super friendly, like old school nyc vibes. Which makes the experience of shopping fun! They will chat with you and super helpful. Everything is organized so well so everyone can find their aesthetic very easily. The prices are just right too!!! Tried of being scammed on used clothing. Ive never left here without a piece of clothing. You all ROCK!!

Awesome store. Wide variety of options. Owner is a great guy. Really friendly place would recommend.
Nov 09, 2025 -
avoid this red pill boys club. guys working here pressured me to leave the men’s section and shop in the woman’s. I told the guy I have a man to shop for then they continued to effectively push me out after blocking me at every rack. the energy was scary. theres much better thrift down the block where youll feel safe and welcomed in your shopping experience.

Wow, such a cool little store love this place had an amazing selection of denim. Would definitely recommend really cool. Lovely staff member helped us find the jeans we wanted and no tax ! Wow
Jul 28, 2025 -
This place has really nice and has hella cool clothes. I would come here again but my only complaint is it's expensive for a thrift shop, but the clothes are good.
Jul 22, 2025 -
This place was alright, quality vintage items with prices to match but it ranges. I'd say they have a lot of leather items if you're looking for it.
Jun 28, 2025 -
Decent selection, friendly and helpful staff. The clothes were clean. Some ratty-looking leather jackets that likely aren't worth putting on the rack; but tons of excellent print t-shirts.
Jun 05, 2025 -
I love this place. The first time, I went for funsies- now I go for leather jackets! Each one is unique, vintage, and astonishingly reasonably-priced. The floor sales reps are friendly and charismatic. I tell everyone to check this place out!
May 30, 2025 -
This place is fabulously wonderful. And music band posters/original memorabilia on the walls. We were greeted by BRANDON - cool dude with eye-candy tatts. Great finds and excellent customer service. Brandon and Connor - THANKS SO MUCH for great finds in your store and NYC tips 🙏🙏🙏

Their clothes are ammmaazzzinnng. Definitely overpriced for thrifting but it was so worth it. If you’re into alternative fashion, this place is literally curated for you. Not to mention it’s so organized. I got this Korn shirt from the 2007 tour!
Jan 16, 2025 -
A nice selection of clothing at reasonable prices. Better deals than some other shops in the surrounding area.
Nov 10, 2024 -
Very very large and cool selection of jackets, band tees, vintage levi’s, coats and sweatshirts. I wouldn’t go here for other things. Their selection of shoes is not very large and focuses on cowboy boots. The tops are all small to medium and aren’t necessarily fun or trendy in my opinion. I really loved their leather jacket selection and picked up a long duster that will be perfect for fall.

Store looks and is amazing. Only the best of the best clothes, suuuuper cool people working there, asking that im looking for and providing great offers. Service is amazing, a lot of really cool original stuff. Not the cheapest youll find in nyc, but you only find amazing products there, which is what you pay for. Its all original vintage, and they let me put stickers on their door. T shirts are like 20$ and sweaters 30$, i almost got cowboy boots which were only 40$. Can only recommend!!! + They had changing rooms, which could use soom hooks
Sep 05, 2024 -
all the staff there are super nice. they have a crazy big collection of cowboy boots at pretty decent prices. they helped me learn the difference wit toe shapes on boots and helped me find a pair that was perfect for me. their garms r all fire too, and good prices. recommend for sure

My favorite location! I bought a scalloped lapel teal leather blazer with an awesome lining for $34 and a multicolor striped linen ruffle blouse for $19, both vintage. Only a few dollars more than I would have paid outside of Manhattan, but overall pretty fair prices. They mostly have menswear and leather/denim/fur jackets. The staff is super friendly and helpful.

Went in to browse around looking for a good pair of jeans, yesterday evening. The staff was an absolute delight, very welcoming, asked if i needed help and gave me suggestions to what I would look for. They have a big selection of Levis, jackets, tons of band shirts and vintage pieces, cowboy boots heaven too. The person with the tattoos (sorry i had prior the name on the tip of my tongue) and Alan (bless his soul) went above and beyond for me to help me find jeans that would make me happy. Though me being extra picky I couldn’t find THE jeans I looked for hut ended with a nice sweater and jewelry. The store it’s more targeted towards masc clothing, small selection of feminine clothing but for a person like me that dresses however I feel I had no issue. Decent prices and you can find some awesome pieces here and there. In the process of my experience I lost my phone which eventually I had left the store and came back on closing time; Ezequiel, Alan, Connor and crew helped me find my phone. It was so embarrassing but in the end I wanna thank all of them for the entire experience from walking in to all their help. This is one amazing crew running the place. Looking forward to return to support them again.

Love this thrift shop. The entire staff was very and I mean very helpful. They actually asked me what kind of jacket I wanted and started pulling out pieces for me to try on. AMAZING service. The selection for men was better than the thrift stores I’ve been to in the past. Lots of leather jackets if you’re hunting for one like me. The price was a bit higher than goodwill across the street for example but the selection was much more tailored and had better pieces. Can’t say enough positive things about this spot will be coming back. Nick the owner was great as well. 10/10 for me. Edit: wanted to add some pricing Leather Jacket -$34 Silk pants -$34 Ralph Lauren shirt -$20 Military style Harrington (in pictures) -$30

The employees are really nice here, it’s organized, and they have dressing rooms you can use. That being said there’s pretty much nothing in the store priced below $35– I found a bunch of pieces that were very damaged and not discounted at all. Average selection that was too expensive in my opinion :/

Again this chain of thrift stores manages to amaze and surprise me every time I visit. The great atmosphere and superb customer service, always makes my visits unique, definitely my favorite business in the whole city and it’s the fair prices and amazing team in the stores that make me want to come back.

Alan and Aiden were the absolute best. They gave me such an amazing first impression. For my first time it was a beautiful personalized shopping experience, they are beyond friendly and are very passionate about what they do and it shows ! I love this place 10/10+ ! I want to bring all of my other friends ! Can’t get over Alan and Aiden !!! they made that place special for me

Amazing prices, fantastic vibes, magnificent inventory. I always leave Thrift NYC with at least like three new finds that I am HYPED about. With how picked through thrifting in NYC can be, I find this place to consistently have hidden gems. On top of it all, the owner is such a homie. Above and beyond customer service, you are really missing out if you don't check this place out. Both Thrift NYC spots always have that fire so if you are really into thrifting/vintage clothing make sure to check out both spots.

Everyone that works there is nice and helpful! The owner is extremely sweet!!! I believe his name is Nick. He was very patience and considerate so overall the customer service is great/chill and will make you want to come back and shop. Nonetheless, the store has a lot of vintage Levi’s, Lee, Carhatt and Wrangler Jeans if that’s something one is looking for (among other vintage things.)

I went into the store a few days ago and I bought an outfit from Thrift I usually love vintage clothing but the items one the shirt had bleach stains and it was all dirty and two the pants are 10x the size and the prices are astronomical. I paid $59 for a shirt and pants 😡. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. There’s much better vintage clothing stores out there and have better quality and pricing

Went there today. They have really cool unique things. Bought this treasure vintage afghani dress. I’m beyond happy and will go there again for sure.
