This is just a nice place to visit

Overall fun place to visit, but wish the tour of the vessel was free the way it used to be 7 years ago. Not sure why they now have a ticket price. Seems like everything needs to be ‘priced’ for it to have any value anymore, this mindset is making Manhattan look more like Disney world or Times Square than authentic works of art to be consumed by all. The place does get very crowded on weekends and holidays with tourists glaring at you for taking too long to take your photo. Also cars coming in and out of the parking lot by the shops makes it very narrow and chaotic to enjoy a moment here. Like I said pretty much Times Square vibes, sad

An Ice Cream Day celebration on July 21, 2024 was well suited for Hudson Yards Public Square. It's a large, sprawling space that has a central open area around The Vessell and many seating, nooks, shady or stepped parts branching out northward and connecting to other green spaces and the recently extended 7 subway line (see pics of ceiling mosaics). The Square worked better with this large event occupying it rather than when empty as the wind can overpower the space and light weight people!

I did this walk during my visit to New York in March, loved the views and the whole idea of reusing the old line. Keep up the great work!

I had the opportunity to visit the Hudson Yards in New York City with my wife and cousin, and it was truly an impressive experience. The beauty and atmosphere of the place are extraordinary. Let me give you some information about the Vessel, a sculpture designed by the British designer Thomas Heatherwick. The Vessel is a sculptural piece that you can actually walk into. Described as an interactive artwork offering engagement and experience in one of the world's busiest cities, the Vessel resembles a giant beehive basket in appearance, but it's actually made up of interconnected steel staircases instead of wax. It consists of 80 sections spread across 15 stories, with a total of 2,500 individual steps to climb, spanning 154 flights of stairs. It weighs a whopping 600 tons. The main idea behind the design is to allow people to see New York from angles they've never seen before by ascending and descending the structure. The hexagonal base of the structure is 50 meters in diameter and widens to 150 meters at the top tier. Vessel can accommodate up to 1,000 visitors at once. The team at Heatherwick Studios designed the Vessel so that each level could be divided into segments. The bronze steel and concrete pieces were manufactured in a factory in Italy and assembled like a giant 3D puzzle when they arrived in New York. While the Vessel can be a choice spot for those looking for a workout, there are elevators available on every level for those who prefer not to climb. Overall, the Vessel is a breathtaking addition to the New York City skyline, offering both artistic beauty and a unique way to experience the city.

Hudson Yards Public Square is a testament to contemporary design and city planning. It’s worth visiting for those interested in architecture and modern urban development, but those seeking a more traditional, relaxed park experience might find it lacking. The area is best enjoyed as part of a broader exploration of the West Side, including the High Line and Chelsea Market, to fully appreciate its place within the larger context of Manhattan’s evolving landscape.

The Hudson Yards is usually such a happening place and during Christmas, with all the lights it is breathtakingly beautiful! We also happened to visit Santa's Secret.. the show had some very talented artists and was executed brilliantly. Best to buy tickets online in advance for the show as they get sold out pretty fast. We were asked to share tables with another couple initially but we moved to some high chairs by ourselves later on. Drinks and food are available inside but are very expensive.

Exceeded expectations! Hospitality was welcoming, seating was accommodating, performers were fantastic! We laughed till we were hoarse. Thank you for ending out the year with so much joy...truely a happy ending. No videos to spoil your future experience.

Beautiful decorations.... went to the Secret Santa show and really had a nice time. The show was amazing and the hostess was very funny . An interactive show for sure. definitely recommend seeing it. Just wish they had a normal selection of food or snacks. I had what was the most normal dish offered lol

It was good last year was way better. Inside Hudson Yards. The transmitter blew out 2x. I wasn't honored same price tickets. Overall it was okay

I started out uncomfortable with the seating arrangements but quickly got lost in the show. It was funny, sexy and gave me a good ole nostalgic vibe. Loved it.

The whole hudson yard area is new and bright specially during holiday season. Walk around and lots of nice spots including the mall inside edge. Awesome views of vessel too. Parking spots nearby. High line walk is a plus.

We had so much fun laughed and shared stories with the crowd. I would recommend going for a fun night out!!

This area of the West Side of Manhattan is one of the newest areas of NYC for tourists and residents to congregate and shop, eat and mingle with one another. Hudson Yards makes you feel like you’re in a whole other city. Amazing display of Christmas lights

Such a fun experience! The walk through was fun and it was great to have the photo opts! The show itself was stunning, and funny as hell! 10/10 recommend and will be attending yearly!

Not your regular boring Christmas show!

We had a great night out with friends! The show was entertaining and a ton of fun! I highly recommend to anyone looking to have a good time!

We were totally amazed with this show very entertaining from beginning to end my hair stood on end from all the raw talent drinks were exceptional we had the time of our lives and we're planning on returning

This weird art does add to NY’s charm

Spectacular views of the vessel, Hudson yards shops, and the river. Everything is nicely lit up for Christmas. The vessel itself is closed due to the suicides the previous year which is sad, they don’t close bridges when people jump off those. Regardless very nice area to visit.

Great place to visit when your in New York City beautiful shopping centre

Tons of outdoor space and wide areas seating and gathering. Very family friendly, which is a plus.
