Really nice playground. My 14 month old had plenty to keep her occupied, water on both sides, sandbox, she had a blast. The slide and climbing stuff also looked really fun. Can't wait for her to be old enough to do those.

Great playground. Not too big but has all the right climbing and sliding structures. Public restrooms with 50 feet. Super clean restrooms.

Best playground! The slide is incredibly fun and popular, please don't ever take it down. Restrooms are nice to have and were clean when we went.

A very nice park with many recreational activities like kids slides, soccer, volleyball and basketball. Downside is its a bit of a walk down to the pier. But you will definitely have lots of fun down here with your friends and family.

My kids( 6 and 3)love this playground during summer time. It is a little more challenging for them. They can run around, climb a little and play in the sprinklers . It is a lot of fun. And the flowers smell amazing.

Looks fun and my daughter had a good time but not super accessible - there’s a steep hill at the top of the slide and a steep step going down to the sandbox. The water areas can get slippery for little feet.

This place is a ton of fun. Bring a bathing suit! And get there early!

My 3.5yo son loved the giant slide, although he insisted on someone going with him because it was so big and fast! Apparently in the last couple weeks it was closed for renovation, overheard a family talking about it not having a bump in it before. So it's slower now than it used to be.

On first impression, a cool looking playground for the kids with some fun water features. However, the hard surface in the water play area gets very slippery when wet! After a couple of hard falls by my 2 year old, we packed up and went to the nearby water park near the Whitney. This oversight is particularly stunning and seems to be a lawsuit in waiting.

My daughter loves it here. Just be careful with the kids at the slider, I saw many of them hitting their head when sliding down.

Adorable park with a friendly atmosphere. The design is unique and it offers a sand pit and a sprinkler splash zone! Highly recommend stopping here and then heading to Chelsea market for a snack.

Small playground on the west side, there is a sand area which is fun for kids and also a big slide which you have to be careful with the little kids. Wish it was bigger with more options for slides and climbing.

Nice place to be at the evening where you can see the beautiful sunset. The park itself is beautiful. You can also jogging, do yoga and other activities.

I like this park, but for kids it’s a disaster. Bad sight lines, lots of hard rocks, the slide is great but intimidating enough that kids clog line needing help and hard for parents to get there. Most challenging part is that the surface is very slick when wet (and it’s a water park) have seen multiple bad slip and falls here. Ultimately it’s a great park for 7+ year olds, but it’s only big enough for 6 & under

It was a beautiful evening ?. The night was cool and the background lights were beautiful.

Very nice trip on a hot summer day like now..

This park is not safe for kids under 4. My 3yo went on the death slide and flew out the bottom and almost slammed into the wall. The water fountain flooring is slippery af and is all stone and concrete. There are no stairs to get out of the 24" drop into the sandbox. This was not designed by anyone who cares about child safety.

Nice secluded water park for the kiddies. Plenty of sun, sand and water to play in but look out for the big slide it can be a doozy.

New, clean, with three sections - 2 sprinkler areas and 1 central area with sand, a wonderfully spongy-floored play area with a beautiful fish tunnel/climbing structure woven around a seriously tall slide. It's small, but really well done. Feels like a playground oasis since it is surrounded by trees, so no traffic or sidewalk pedestrians to detract from the environment. There's a good amount of seating as well. Really lovely and fun!

My daughter loves parks and wanted to go to this park when we visited NYC. We went to the park and she liked it.

Wonderful Playground We really liked the renovation of the playground area, especially the toddler splash area and the sand box. It’s a perfect place for the kids in the summer. They have a lot of fun every time we go there. The parks is well maintained, clean and safe.

This park is fun for kids ages 12 and under. It has parental seating with shade and a large slide. However, there is an age limit, and the slide is not very slippery to slide down on.

This is a fun place for small children to play. It doesn't have as much water as we were expecting, and shade was in short supply. My 9 year old got bored pretty quickly.

Was there after 9pm get a good view of the " Worm Moon" (3rd full moon) this year. It was empty and pleasantly quiet.

This review pertains to the playground area, which was recently renovated (summer 2018) and has arguably the most extensive but at the same time kid-safe water features of any playground in the city, including a relatively well enclosed toddler splash area. There is a well shaded sand pit and a ridiculously fast slide, descending from a fairly tall climbing tower, which should probably be taken down a peg in the interest of safety - or the slide landing zone extended in order to minimize joint dislocations and/or bone fractures. This notwithstanding, great design and layout.
