I’ve been calling their office since I’ve been out the women shelter it’s going on 2 months I’ve been trying to get in touch to get some help with clothes for a new job! I’ve left countless numbers of voicemails even talked to someone and left a message last week I heard nothing back y’all should be ashamed of yourselves

This place is amazing! My coach was very thoughtful. She assisted me with career preparation such as resume writing and interview. She also helped me pick professional attires for my next job. It was a fun experience! The environment was supportive and I highly recommend this place because it was worth it :)

I am incredibly grateful for everything that Bottomless Closet does! I feel bad that they copied and pasted a response simply because they couldn't tell that their attitude towards others has now turned away myself, a potential new client. I am responding to how this company responded TO ANOTHER customer, and they arrogantly couldn't tell: "Doha, We are sorry that we were unable to serve you because you did not read the instructions we sent to you ahead of your appointment about not being able to accommodate children in our busy, professional space. "Please arrive alone– do not bring guests or children." The majority of our clients are mothers, and we are well aware of the challenges that this presents for them when job searching. We do not have proper facilities to have children in our space and that is why we are very clear about this ahead of all client appointments. We did give you the opportunity to reschedule, but unfortunately, you declined. We are still happy to reschedule you, if you can identify child care for your appointment time and if you are still in need of interview preparation services." Disgusting. Had a feeling these people were limousine liberals--pretending to care, but with snobbery. Pass.

Walk-ins are welcome. They coached me with free interview clothes, accessories & with my resume. 10/10 would recommend.

I've been there a few times over the decades. The same except for a man on the premises. It's a place for women. Space doesn't feel safe as before seeing him there. He was not friendly or welcoming. Carlos gave me the creeps to be honest.

I'm so grateful to have discovered this resource and deeply appreciate the support this organization offers to those in need during challenging times. I highly recommend it to women who are entering the workforce and could benefit from its services.

Bottomless Closet is truly a magical experience. From the moment you walk in every volunteer and staff member are looking to help you, however they can, in achieving your goals. I received two full interview outfits, a purse, a makeup bag, even a winter coat (which I didn’t have for this winter season) and more! It was a beautiful, generous, and personalized experience. Bottomless Closet is truly a blessing for NYC. I’d like to thank Arlene and Valerie for being so attentive, caring, and supportive!! I can’t wait to come back when I get the job! Thank you so much!! I had a very disappointing experience at Bottomless Closet. After traveling an hour and a half to get there, the staff refused to serve me because I had my child with me. They were unwelcoming to both me and my son, which made me feel sad and frustrated. It hurt to feel that my time—three hours in total—didn’t matter to them. I struggle to find care for my son when he isn’t in daycare, and their lack of understanding only added to my disappointment.

I had a wonderful experience at Bottomless closet Beautiful clothes for an interview and for work and Brand new pocketbooks. I will definitely recommend. Also professional staff 🥰.

First time I walked into Bottomless closet I received very good resume assistance, I also had 2 outfits for my jobs interview coming up, two months later I got a job and they gave me 3 more outfits of my preference. The staff are the best, they take their time with each client. Really recommended.

They really take their time to help women achieve their goals when searching for jobs, offering assistance with professional outfits, workshops, and resume editing/mock interviews. I used their services and got the job I was applying for. I hands down recommend this organization!

Bridget was so so amazing! Crismelly was so informative and helpful also very responsive online! My experience was nothing less than wonderful! I cried so many happy tears! The team of people there make you feel so welcome! Not only do they offer beautiful quality professional outfits but they also include little accessories and purses and shoes as well! When I get rich one day this will be the first company I donate to that’s for sure! The resources are endless and every worker I interacted with in there was so sweet & kind! This place is very wonderful, it is simply incredible how its staff is so well prepared, friendly, empathetic and motivating, during my visit the one who helped me was Phyllies E,what an amazing person! she made me feel very welcome, comfortable and above all very professional, her service helped me feel more prepared for my future interview, everything was perfect, from the moment that i arrived the front desk lady was very kind and helpful, the whole team its there to help you and they have the best people to do it!

Very helpful and understanding. The professional wares they offer are of good quality and standard for those in need. They also offer advice and review resumes that can help one in their job search.

This review is long overdue. I went to bottomless closet during my time at John Jay from 2017-2019. I went in the year of 2018. They were supposed to provide me with resume help as well as providing me with some work place attire. It was fine at first until it was time to sit down and go over my resume. The woman that went over it was a short white woman with wrinkles who clearly had some micro aggressions towards me. She went over my resume and was astonished at how much I accomplished at a young age. She than went on to say something along the lines of “I’m sure it wasn’t easy for you being that you and your family are immigrants” I was absolutely befuddled and looked at her with confusion. She completely ruined my experience with this assumption. That was such an ignorant comment to make. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Bottomless Closet is such a blessing. Elisa was so kind and helpful. They gave me clothes I needed for job interview and I was truly grateful because I couldn't afford them and wondered how else would I get them, but this place was heaven sent. Elisa also gave me a few pointers on my resume and I'm truly grateful for that. Also a book I could reference to and get even more pointers from. I got everything I needed to be a success for the interview. Shoes, makeup, bag, accessories you name it. Thank God for y'all. I pray that they have many donors and clients and stay in business for a very long time because they are much needed and I never felt so great in all my life. They don't look down on you or anything. The front desk receptionist was also very friendly and helpful. Again thank you so much ladies for everything. Thank you most of all for caring.

My experience was pretty awesome. I left feeling like a million bucks. The good: Cheryl listened to my needs and concerns. She didn’t try and dress me in what she likes. She helped me find things appropriate for my style and the type of employment I’m seeking. The Bad: I didn’t get much help with my resume. That’s why I gave four stars. The Ugly: Although I enjoyed my experience, I wish I had more time to make decisions. I understand why time is limited though.

Went here today for some interview clothes for my career change and it was a wonderful experience I believe the person who helped me was Elaine but I honestly can’t remember because I’m horrible with names. She was just so wonderful and respectful of my time and my style. I love how it feels like an actual shopping experience. Just so wonderful!!

I was fortunate to get help from the great people at Bottomless Closet. I have know about them for a few years and donated my business clothing to them to help women searching and in need of work. Due to Covid, I was laid off from my employer at the time and when I nearly gave up, I remembered Bottomless Closet. They helped me review and improve my resume, they offer workshops on many different subjects for self care and for the job search itself. It is a community of wonderful, smart, brave and brilliant women seeking to learn, meet others and be supported. Pam Kulnis and her team know what they are doing and they do it with heart, passion, a community of speakers, leaders who take time to share their wisdom, insight and support to other women seeking to enter the workforce, get back on their feet or improve their jobs. This is an organization that should be supported as they give hope, career advise and guidance and a work clothing to women who want to work and move forward in their lives. I am forever appreciative and grateful to Bottomless Closet. I am now employed full time at a wonderful company and want to thank Bottomless Closet for the great resources. I still plan on taking the workshops.

I looooove Bottomless Closet⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. That special place gave me my confidence back when I felt that I had lost myself after I had lost my engagement and my former Employment. As soon as I first walked in there, I was greeted with so much Kindness and treated in such a dignified way from not just the front desk but all of the staff. Bottomless Closet doesn’t just provide you with the appropriate clothing for your interview, they also help you perfect your resume and provide invaluable workshops for Women that help you before and after you get the Job. The Workshops are also not just professional but personable as the clients are allowed to give feedback and experience that can help one another. Bottomless Closet feels more like a family environment which is rare to find these days!

My experience today made me so happy and empowering. They was cheering for me in the beginning. The lady in the front desk was so nice and funny and very helpful. The volunteers were so helpful and there was a gentleman man there. I don’t know his name was very helpful and by him looking at me he knew my exact size. The ladies were so pleasent because so much selections from pants, blouses, skirts, shoes, and so much more. I would go back again. Not fitting in my old clothes and now I have something to wear. I didn’t have time because I had to go but they steam the clothes if needed.

This place is amazing for women looking to get back into the workforce or are already in the workforce and just need a little help. They are so friendly, they have plenty of helpful resources, and they really prep you for an interview. They help point you in the right direction with your resume. They have nice clothing, shoes, jewelry, handbags and they even have under garments. This organization is amazing! Thank you guys for your services.

Bottomless Closet has been helping New Yorkers for many years, it has a remarkable team of astute professionals. I have been their client on two separate occasions (years apart), and just loved the attention each time. One can also take advantage of their workshops not only the terrific outfits. And if you do get a job after the interview, you may return to get 3 additional outfits. They are yours to keep. My mentor was Joan-Rose whose patience and candor filled me with confidence. They are truly awesome!!! The service was very professional and fun. There was a big selection of clothing and accessories to choose from (In great condition). And their advice on acing an interview and resume help was very useful.
