This was my first time ever getting my phone repaired, and unfortunately I did not have a good experience here. I paid $123 to have my iPhone screen replaced. Before coming here, my phone was in excellent condition and had never been repaired before. It was not water damaged or anything like that. The only issue was that the screen cracked after falling on a hard floor.
Ever since the repair, my phone has had ongoing problems. My screen does not function the same, and now my phone randomly shuts off for about 5 minutes and then turns back on by itself. This has been an on-and-off issue ever since I received the repair. I never had this problem before bringing my phone to this store.
Because of this experience, I do not feel comfortable returning for further repairs. I expected good quality service for the price I paid, but instead my phone has more issues than before. I just want others to be aware of my experience.
If you have a graphic tablet like a Huion or a Wacom, do not bring it here. I'm sure they're great for iPads and iPhones and things like that, but I brought my Huion in due to hard drive issues. I explained it to the person I dropped it off with, he told me one day, two days max. Three days later, I called and they seemed surprised and confused. Fifteen minutes later they called me to pick it up and once I got back home, the tablet still wasn't working. I brought it back. Three weeks of calling and trying to get ahold of someone who could tell me what I was waiting for, I finally went in and got it. It wasn't repaired which is less of an issue than the biggest issue: they will not call you back and they will not tell you if they can't fix something. If they were honest from the beginning and told me they had no experience with Huions and I should go somewhere else, I wouldn't have been upset. It's that they waited three weeks and I only got an answer because I went in after not getting a call back for weeks. Don't bring a graphic tablet here. Maybe their customer service is better for issues they know how to handle but my advice for them is be honest with your customers. I would've rather been told to go somewhere else than miss out on three weeks of work I couldn't do because my tablet was sitting untouched in the back of their store.
I took my phone in for a simple screen replacement, and not only did it take way longer than promised, but they also scratched the body of my phone during the process. When I pointed it out, they didn’t seem to care and didn’t offer any solution.
If I could give 0 stars I would, They didn’t fix my laptop / replace my screen instead they gave me another laptop with a screen that’s fixed, but was telling me “your screen is coming in”. So now I have two laptops and my actual laptop screen is still broken. I didn’t want a new laptop I wanted my screen fixed and a way to access my laptops information. Then when I came to pick up the item they told me I have a hard drive issue so I won’t be able to access my laptops information. Which is why my laptop doesn’t work and then followed up with “ we don’t fix hard drives”. Which they could’ve told me initially when they did the testing…. I always am skeptical of a place with so many good reviews I should’ve trust my instinct and they were messaging me thinking I was another client. Just bad business they basically got a couple hundred dollars for free and all they can offer is “sorry”. I’m pretty sure their response to this review won’t make sense either.
Responding : I didn’t come for a screen issue I came to be able to use my computer, hence the messages. instead I left with the same broken computer no screen replacement just a random replacement laptop I didn’t ask for.
Brought my laptop in after water damage and they did an amazing job. They cleaned it thoroughly, worked fast, and kept communication clear the whole time. They saved me from having to buy a new laptop or pay for a much more expensive repair. Best $80 I’ve ever spent. Highly recommend.
The business was to open at 10 am. I arrived at 9.55 to ensure I was among the first to be served. At 10.50am very leisurely and non chalantly, the proprietor arrives to open the business. Which meant I had been standing in the cold for 1 hour. No apology no explanation.
When i asked why the delayed opening... he said traffic!
While I waited in the cold, another customer arrived who said she even had an appointment for 10 am. She left! Bad business......
I brought in my MacBook Air for a repair, and they had it fixed in just about an hour. My laptop looks brand new again. Super fast service and friendly staff. Definitely recommend if you need any Mac repairs!
Super fast and great experience! One of the best customer services I have had and I have gotten 2 phones fixed. Took less than 30 minutes and they were super accommodating. Really appreciate their quickness

This is my third time going to these guys and they are hands-down the best service and best price I could find anywhere in the downtown BK area/cobble Hill neighborhoods. They always fix my screen in 20 minutes or less and for $80, which is a great price. They’ve saved my life several times with my old iPhone 11 that’s on its last legs ha ha

Needed a MacBook battery replacement and couldn’t be happier with the service. Incredibly efficient — I was in and out in under 20 minutes! The staff knew exactly what they were doing, and the whole process was smooth and stress-free. Walked out a happy customer. Honestly, better faster and MUCH cheaper than going to the Apple Store. Plus, they even have a bookshelf to keep you entertained while you wait — a nice touch! WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Amazing experience! I came in with a broken black screen after trying everything at home AND at the Apple Store and Jose fixed my son’s phone in 10 min. So efficient. Will definitely come back here for any future fixes!
Mr Fix was able to fix my cracked laptop screen after my toddler broke it. He quoted be 2-3 days but it was done in 1-2 days! Reasonable pricing and great service - we will be returning customers for sure. Very pleased with this place! Highly recommend
Great Service 24hrs‼️ my friend visited from Oklahoma and dropped her iPhone 15 Pro at 3:00am. (No case No screen protector! )He was so nice and very patient. The phone was fixed within 20mins with a free case and screen protector. An Absolute Lifesaver ?
I’ve been coming here for years and every other time I’ve given 5 stars when my issue was solved and usually the service is really great but this time it was not. They’re usually really nice and do their jobs efficiently and fast and he’s always been reliable. But I recommend computer repairs at an Apple Store. The part will at least hold up for your moneys worth. Still love the place and recommend for phone repairs and technical issues but not satisfied at all today. I hope next time my issue can be solved and I can be serviced.
I had a problem with my laptop and couldn't work. I called Mr. Fix, dropped my laptop off and he fixed it in 45 Minutes. Great Service and I can work again. I also had issues with my phone a year ago and Mr. Fix fixed it. He is reliable, knowledgeable and fast. Love it.

I can only say excellent - professional and totally fair price. They give you options within the reach of what you want to pay... In my case I went first to Apple 5ave and the diagnosis they gave me was total loss due to water damage and obviously I asked them to save some information and no if you don't have updated iCloud you're screwed!!! I found Mr Fix (Brooklyn) on Google, I saw that it had good reviews and I took the risk. And it was a complete success, very grateful and from now on you have a loyal customer to fix any electronic equipment. Thank you very much...

I seldom leave reviews but I’m just so impressed with this place—Alex + Misha are both incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. They have outstanding customer service and I could not be more grateful for their existence.
My iPhone X was stuck in a boot loop and would not turn on. The Apple store was not helpful at all + was recommending I completely trade in my phone. Then I found Mr. Fix and they were able to get my phone working within a couple of hours for a completely reasonable price. Most places charge for just a diagnosis but they guaranteed that if they couldn’t get my phone working, I wouldn’t have to pay a single dime. That’s how you know they know what they’re doing.
A couple of days later, I spilled water on my Macbook but it was reassuring to know I have these tech heroes to help me out. They took apart the laptop + dried it out for me—everything looked fine the next day. Since they didn’t technically perform a repair, they just did it out of the goodness of their hearts.
I’ll be telling everyone I know about Mr. Fix ❤️They just opened a couple weeks ago + I hope they’ll stay for a long long time.
They give out free masks, water/coffee/tea, have ample seating, books for you to read while you wait + are always playing super calming music ✨
