Went there on a friend’s recommendation and am very happy I did! Super friendly and efficient. What a find in the neighborhood! Although they were kind enough to squeeze me in, make an appointment!

Came in for an inspection and the owner tried to get me to buy windshield wipers, cabin filter and other accessories that had nothing to do with the test. As soon as I was the slightest bit hesitant to buy these things he lit up in a rage. Condescending ego maniac. I ate the inspection fee, because I wasn’t going to give this guy another dollar. Drove to Ambato on flushing and was out in 10 minutes with a passing inspection

Had front-end body work done here by Eric and Joe. The work was fast and super high quality. I highly recommend Precision Transmission for their knowledge, experience and high level of customer service.

My experience with Eric and the Precision Transmissions team was beyond excellent. I came in for an inspection and they were also able to fit in swapping a new fender I had bought somewhere else the same day. Best mechanic I’ve had in over 10 years living in NYC/Brooklyn! Was honest and fair in pricing. Helped me get a lot of extra life out of my old BMW.

My car was making a rubbing sounds when I turned to the right. Also I needed to have it inspected, and I needed new tires. I called up the shop and made an appointment to come in. I dropped the car off thinking it needed an alignment, but they found that it was a bad bearing, not an alignment issue. The replaced the bearing, replaced my tires, and inspected the car in the same day. No more noise (but more importantly, it's safe to drive now) and the inspection is done. They did not do an alignment because it didn't need that, and they were honest about it. The manager/owner then called me the next morning to check if everything was ok. I'm very happy with the service, I will bring my car there from now on.

These guys are seriously the best. After a terrible experience at Pep Boys, they fixed the car right up, charged fairly, and were the kindest people imaginable. They take pride in their work, take pride in taking care of customers, treat everyone with respect and care, and are great conversationalists! As long as I'm in New York, I'll never take my car anywhere else.

Great experience! Felt like I was being taken care of by family. They were clear and transparent with all the repairs they did, and extremely fair on price - even found and ordered radio knob for me that they didn't have to. Will definitely come back for any other repair I need!

In my experience, Eric is a top shelf human, keeps the cleanest shop in the neighborhood, and can be trusted to take care of an insurance claim! Precision Transmissions has been my go-to provider for oil changes, inspections or any mechanical issue for my Audi Q5. Once during an inspection they found a small crack in my front axle, which could have been very dangerous, called me and replaced the part immediately. Recently I was the victim of a hit and run auto collision, and took my vehicle to Eric for assistance. Eric knows New York regulations well, so when my insurance company’s inspectors tried to skirt the regulations, Eric helped me understand what they were doing, and fought for me to ensure that my car was properly brought back to pristine condition. He did this with a calm and firm professionalism that only comes from years of experience and exceptional knowledge of his craft. Eric takes pride in his work and is a true gentleman. If he shows you his black, convertible corvette, just keep your fingers off the paint job ;-). Make that appointment, you will be happy you did!

I don't usually write reviews but I feel very moved to say great things about this place! They squeezed me in for an inspection after I got denied at 3 other places, including my usual mechanic. Everyone there is very personable and feels like a family vibe. Inspection, air filter, and wipers done plus Eric took the time and showed me where rats had been getting in under the hood and recommended how to make a spray to keep them out. I will definitely be returning!

Eric and his team are great. They’ve always done excellent work on my truck from regular servicing to major repairs. Their pricing is very fair and the quality of work very high. You can tell a lot about a repair shop by the location and the first thing you’ll notice about PT is that it is the cleanest mechanic you’ve been too.

This shop is literally a life saver. Had diagnostic warning popping up on my car that wouldn’t go away even when I cleared them. Took my car to dealership and they tried to say I needed my entire engine wire harness replaced and reprogrammed for $3300. Came in to see Eric and he was super transparent and informative. He provided multiple case scenarios and pricing upfront. Rye was also super helpful, professional, and nice at the front desk. They both made the entire process extremely easy, quick, and affordable. Ended up having my wire harness for my TPMS repaired and a few odds and ends replaced in less than 24 hours and just a couple hundred bucks. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this shop.

Great customer service very friendly staff, they will show you what is wrong and explain it to you which most places don't care to do. Get your car fixed here prices are explained in detail and its not a secret where your parts are coming from they don't hide anything.
