OMG. I WAS ON THE PHONE FOR EXACTLY 55 MINS. ALMOST AN HOUR. FOR A MONDAY. OMG. THATS HORRIBLE. VERY HORRIBLE. THATS WAS A NIGHTMARE TO LOOK AT MY PHONE AND THAT ALMOST AN HOUR THAT I WAS ON HOLD. THATS TERRIBLE AND THAT NEEDS TO BE FIXED. THAN I HUNG UP, CALLED BACK AGAIN. SAME LADY PICKED UP JUST TO PUT ME BACK ON HOLD. AT LEAST THE AUTOZONE ON UTIA HAD ME ON HOLD FOR 30 MIN. THATS UNACCEPTABLE AND AS A PAYING CUSTOMER I EXPERT BETTER SERVICE OVER THE PHONE THAN IN PERSON. SMH. FIRE EVERY BODY THAT AT THAT LOCATION..... !!
The cashier dude was very disrespectful, he was chatting with the security guy on the corner and i couldn't even tell if he was a cashier, so i was waiting in the line and after some time he saw and gave me a very rude look and talked to me in a very disrespectful manner, that's very disappointing, didn't feel welcomed there.
Robert was disrespectful, and making up his own rule . Trying to return something few minutes after buying it. Saying that I have to come back in order to return my items. Did not wanna give me his information in order to do a return.
Disrespectful older carribbean female Mgr. Short version of incident: I saw a customer with windshield wiper cleaner & suggested to him the Rainx brand its on sell buy 2 & it comes to like $12-$13 Mgr. Or older woman says that its not on sale! I i said I just bought it yesterday in east New York. Do you not have the same sale here?

And it is still on sale. So I tell the manager or older, Caribbean woman that you should apologize. You see, I just helped you with sales. She got upset and told me I don't owe you nothing. Finally, someone comes to help me even though you guys did not have the item in stock. I went to another location but the lady talks so disrespectful and should not deal with customers.. How can I be wrong about anything? And I'm helping autozone with sales, and I'm not even an employee. She should have said thank you. Came in to purchase a Valve gasket cover
On 12/27/2025 The night manager told me I couldn’t return something that I bought AutoZone with a receipt for $25. He told me I had to take it back to the other AutoZone on Utica. After we had words he pulled the knife on me and Security stepped in between us. I made numerous calls to the corporate office and never had an answer back left messages for the store manager and never answer back I asked for the video still haven’t received anything yet.
It was raining and we needed a windshield wiper replacement. They opened the doors for my father, were very helpful with letting him know what he needed, and even came outside to replace the wiper when we were having trouble doing it ourselves.
One of my new favorite locations, all just because the representative that took his time to help me and give me so much information that the other location in queens failed to do. He corrected the issue with my battery and explained to me why I needed the upgrade, at that point I was already sold so whatever upcharge I was willing to pay it. Thank you so much to the young gentlemen who is representative #18 because I didn't get his name but he was amazing and VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE. Auto zone needs more people like him! Thank you so much Representative #18 you saved me from many future headaches. I'll be back for sure!
AutoZone came through when I really needed help. My car broke down right outside during the rain, and the manager, Damiean, immediately came out and helped me push it into the lot. That kind of effort says a lot.
Inside, he took the time to guide me on the best oil for my car and made sure I understood my options. He also walked me through other services AutoZone provides. Super helpful, professional, and patient the whole time.
Damiean and the team made a stressful situation a lot easier. I definitely recommend this location for real, honest help.
A few days ago, I went to AutoZone to pick up some oil and an oil filter, but it turned into a total disaster. When I walked in, there was only one register open, so I waited in line until the guy with dreadlocks called me over. I asked him for what I needed, and he told me to go to the back to grab the oil while he got the oil filter. I thought that was strange since every other AutoZone I’ve been to, the employees usually get both items for me since they’re right next to each other.
As I walked to the back, I saw him picking up the oil filter, and I asked which oil I should get. He just said to grab any 5-30 while he headed back to the register. I picked one up but noticed a deal for an entire oil change kit. I took a picture of it just in case. When I got to the register, he told me my total was only five dollars less than the deal. I asked if I could get the deal that included the oil, oil filter, air filter, and cabin filter. He asked if I really needed the deal, and I said yes.
He brought me the two other filters but then said my total was $65.50. I pointed out that the deal was supposed to be $37.99, and he told me that the deal only included either the cabin filter or the air filter. I told him to take off the cabin filter and just give me the deal with the oil, oil filter, and air filter. At that point, I was getting frustrated because he left me standing at the register while he talked to a coworker for about 7 to 10 minutes. I thought about giving him a hard time, but I decided to wait and see what he would say when he returned.
When he finally came back, he said what do you want? I was confused and reminded him that I had already told him to remove the cabin filter from my bill before he went to do the conference with his coworker. He got even angrier and gave me a total that was way off from the deal.
If you need anything from AutoZone, I suggest driving a few extra minutes to another location because this one is the worst I’ve ever been to.
I went to buy some fuel injector cleaner I wanted the best one,I was undecided on which one to buy a sales person asked me if I needed help he recommended the best one he was very nice the store even had a self check out line great service
I’m not even sure who picked up the phone but he answered “Yea auto zone” I replied good morning… no response.. so I proceed with my question he answered it. Then I had a follow up question which I’m currently on hold because apparently he had to check out a customer.. well it’s going on 10 minutes and still no one has come back to the phone. He don’t sound like he wants to work today.. did he open and have to run the whole store? Because then I could understand the “I don’t want to be here” tone he have. Well now that I’m done with this nonsense and complaint I will hang up now.. poor guy should just stay home.. today 11/26/23 10:16am to now 10:28am
I’ve recently purchased a used car as a first time car owner I entered auto zone and was greeted by a manager who introduced himself as Brian. He was very helpful and knowledgeable I needed all of my brakes and rotors and also a battery for my car. I didn’t know much so Brian suggested I go for a three year warranty battery opposed to the 2 year warranty battery. Being that the price difference was only about $20 which made very good sense to me. I would definitely come back and see Brian for anything else I need for my car.
I had bit of a problem getting thru on phone to inquire if parts I needed were available, it took several calls, even when call was answered & I was put on hold call wasn't picked back up 3 times! However staff was courteous, polite & helpful when I finally got thru. I went to purchase parts & I was told parts weren't in stock despite being told they were, staff did finally located what I needed & price was lower than price I was quoted on phone. Turns out I didn't need one of the parts & return was no problem at all. Staff a bit slow& few seem very disinterested/ bored but they weren't rude, which I a plus these days. This location - Pennsylvania Ave prices are lower than Utica Ave and Flatbush Ave locations. AutoZone's have different prices for same parts so it pays to call for quote on parts some things are as much as $20 more at different locations.
The staff is very professional and helpful. Everything that I needed for my car, they had in stock. The prices are very reasonable. Outside the store, I met a mechanic named Black, not only is he good on cars, he is a really nice person. Great place.
Often times checking out is slow despite multiple registers.. Parking area clearly posts sign of no mechanical work on premises, parking spots are often taken up for exactly this and is not enforced. Otherwise you can usually find what you need. Room for improvement.
While the AutoZone parts store in itself is actually really good. I don't like seeing all these jackleg mechanics, outside and stepping over pools,and pools of who knows what. because they're not cleaning up after themselves. I understand people are just trying to make some money. but I don't like stepping over oil or oil changes or spills or anything else. This stuff is poisoning this part of Brooklyn... Most of the mechanics, are really good,but I have never used them,and neither should you! I have never heard anything wrong with anyone of them that has gone wrong or that some one was hurt or killed. Believe it or not they are some of the best mechanics in the world. The last thing that I want anyone to think that Im saying that its ok to use them. Because it is not. The last thing I want anyone to do is use this review as a yes,when Im saying no.
My father who was an Ace mechanic always said,when it comes to cars,never go cheap on tires and brakes. Take it to the dealer. Once again, I do most of my own work. Please do not take this as an endorsement. Because it is not. Seriously. With that said the AutoZone store itself they're always very professional and I actually like coming to this one because it's not too far from it's my house but I don't like going over what would be considered a horrible horrible Environmental impact.
Shopping here was a great experience and a young handsome man who goes by “judah” really made my day by helping me with my wiper blades. there does need to be some cleaning in the parking lot though.
Super professional store i loved it there and the customer service was amazing. The new hires that are there are really helping out and it's noticeable. Only feedback would be to clean the parking lot and to not let these ghetto mechanics hound customers down to ask for "mechanical assistance". Other than that the store is amazing.
Courteous professional very nice when you ask for help they help you no attitude at all that's the best part I like as long as you have your receipt they will take back the product that's another thing I like a lot
Not the best location, men standing outside, some offering their odd job services. Poor customer service. Three employees standing at the entrance talking, not one asked how they could help until I asked for help. Decided to go elsewhere. It's a no for me.
