What clients say about Blue Star Brothers Auto Body Shop | Greenpoint in Brooklyn (NY)
They explained everything that they were going to do. Endurance insurance wouldn’t pay for the work so ai had to pay out of pocket. The price was reasonable and I definitely will take my car back when necessary
Some may call my car well worn. I say she is a city car, and well loved. At 16 years old and with her fair share of scars, she is not a show car. But these guys gave her the full white glove service she deserves. My car now shines. My foggy headlights - gone. It's like the cataracts were removed. Scratches had been carefully touched up to cover the paint removal. I don't know what I was expecting but it's like my car has had a face lift. I would 100% recommend these guys to my friends and strangers alike. These guys care about doing a great job and are a plasure to deal with. 10 out 10. Highly recommend.
Prices were great for me they are very transparent sent you email message u get to book appointment & tell you the honest truth about your car example asked for a tire rotation & they let me know straight up there no point im not gonna charge you & do because the rear are more worn down then front they could’ve just charge me but they didn’t & that what I like & have been looking for all this time a mechanic shop like one where u can make appointment etc time are changing & there changing with it in a good way so I would recommend of course your always gonna have little part that you won’t like but as for everything in the world the good has to over come the bad & it did which I appreciate nothing but good thing & I love the part where u get to pay online that a plus for me
They've always squeezed me in for same-day, even same-hour appointments. Love their online scheduling - every other shop makes you call during their business hours. Not BSBABS - they're more efficient and flexible. Incredible service. Customers come from New Jersey to get their cars fixed here. I trust BSBABS to the ends of the earth!
Can't say enough good things about Ivan Sr. and Ivan Jr. They've been taking care of my cars since Jan 2020. Even after moving to NJ, I still only come to this shop to get serviced.
Blue star was great. Helped me understand what was needed. They were very accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure my experience was satisfactory. The outcome for the repairs they made on my car were outstanding. I’m really happy with the outcome and happy my car is good as new.
Ivan has been taking care of my cars for a year now and have gotten multiple services done at blue star for both of my porsches and can absolutely recommend him. I had been using dealership for a while, but Ivans team does a better job on my cars and goes above and beyond.
Blue Star Brothers is an impressively well run business who saved my ass with a rush job for a fair and honest price. The owner is a legend and the team works together as a well oiled machine. Will only ever bring my vehicles to their shops.
Great and speedy attention. Despite having the holiday right on top of us. They were able to execute and fix my issue. My car is running like new. Thank you very much!
Good service.good price.
Knew the garage from the previous owner.
I really like what they did with the place!!
My second visit.
First was for an inspection.
Then a starter motor plus tune up.
My old jeep is purring.
She will be there again when she needs to.
Very professional atmosphere. They treated me well, did a great job and even noticed and replaced a headlight bulb for no charge. Will be my go to place for any bodywork and detailing.
Got rear ended and had a pretty sizeable dent in my trunk, with some minor scratches on the bumper. They were able to repair the bumper to like new condition. Overall very positive experience
I have a 2015 S550 4 matic Mercedes , I went to blue star due to they took over the J&K auto shop that was there . Never the less I was satisfied . 1st & farmost the Mechanics were clean & respecful , 2 the boss I forgot his name made sure the parts that I bought were genuine Mercedes parts or he wouldn't be responsible for any malfunction . Aux battery & serpentine belt . 3 the receptionist was nice & friendly . Definitely will go back
The service was fast and very professional. Dropped the car off at around 10am for oil change and battery replacement - the car was ready after 3pm. Amazing job
Had a great experience here today. I needed my car checked for a potential issue and didn't want to drive too far out of the neighborhood. I saw that Blue Star Brothers had good reviews and was able to make a same-day appointment. They were prompt, they were thorough and they were kind.
My car needed body work after I was rear-ended on a rainy night. I chose Blue Star Brothers after a google search, so wasn't sure what to expect.
When I dropped my car off, the guys were friendly and knowledgeable and talked me through the process, even arranged a rental car through the insurance company.
When i picked up my car a few weeks later, I was blown away by the results. They did a brilliant job. Literally made the vehicle look like it was brand new, inside and out.
I had a great experience with Blue Star Brothers Auto Body Shop. The staff were very professional and honest. I highly recommend going there for repairs.
Sir Ivan and the crew to the rescue again! I hardly know where to begin. Quality care, professionalism and they always shoot you straight. I feel safe in my car largely because of them and I never feel like they are playing with me like some other mechanics that I have used in the past. If I could give them 10 stars, I would.
They did fantastic work reshaping a dent on a hard to fix side panel. I also had them clean up several scratches. The car is seven years old and looks like its new. They really know what they're doing with the paintwork, even with a tricoat. Jerry was great to work with. I also take my car to them for regular maintenance, and their service is always excellent.
I had my spark plugs changed at a Jiffy Lube (twice!) and was told it was running smoothly. Once I started driving the car, I realized immediately that there was an issue in which it did not drive as smooth as I was told (started shaking and moving all jittery). I took my car to Blue Star Brothers where Ivan and his team test drove my car and realized the issue immediately regarding tune up and also checked the car to find cheap materials used when it was changed at the Jiffy Lube. After diagnosing the issue, him and his team used high-quality original materials for the spark plugs and were able to get the job done same day in far less time (took 1.5hr) than the Jiffy Lube (took 3 hrs). The price was fair and accurate based on labor and parts. The car drives very smoothly now just like before the spark plugs changed. His team did exceptional, and I would highly recommend if you have any car issues!
I can’t thank Ivan and his team enough for the incredible job they did on my car. The exterior looks absolutely perfect, and the interior is spotless—it honestly looks brand new. I have two very hairy dogs, and somehow they managed to make the inside look amazing. They did such a great job I almost didn’t want to let my dogs back in the car! Top-notch work and great service—highly recommend.
I stumbled across this mechanic after looking for a mechanic my warranty company approved of, and I’m so glad I did! Ivan and the team were phenomenal, I’ll definitely be going back whenever we need a mechanic! I recently bought a 10 year old car that was under a GWC warranty, and they were experts in helping me to navigate the claim process. They did all the hard work of working the warranty company, and taking care of the car itself, and all of their pricing felt fair! Everything was well communicated and transparent, and done in a timely manner. They even let me take my car back to enjoy for the weekend when we were waiting on a specific AC part to come in! I had them work on a few different tricky AC repairs over the course of a few weeks, and everyone from the office staff to the mechanics was so friendly, and helpful. Ivan, the office manager, spent a lot of time explaining what was wrong, what repairs were being done, what to expect price wise, and what my warranty was and wasn’t covering. Very trustworthy family owned place, and they’ve earned my business for life with how they handled these repairs on my new-to-me used car!
Reshaped fender dent while preserving paint. Issues were assessed and directly quoted to find best path forward, repairs were taken care of same day, and detailing team did a phenomenal job highlighting the work and the car.
Ivan Sr. And his team were great! Unfortunately, I've been here before, but they took care of me like always. Truck hit my driver side door. They took care of all the back and forth. Jared and Kiana were especially helpful and kept me patient through the process. My vehicle looks amazing! Thanks again Blue Star Brothers.
I have been a loyal customer of Blue Star Bros for many years. They always do top notch work. I just had my drivers side door handle replaced and some chipping paint fixed, and it came out looking like new. Thank you, Ivan, Roman and the entire crew! Jim
By far one of the best collision repair services in New York! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Bluestar Brothers Body Shop made the entire process smooth from start to finish. I have been a loyal customer for the past 12 years, and they have never disappointed me. I’ve been in three accidents over the years, and each time, they handled my repairs with absolute professionalism and expertise. I also recommended two of my friends, and they were just as thrilled with the results as I was.
Today, I picked up my Sienna, and once again, the work was flawless—professionally done to perfection. I was so impressed that I couldn’t leave without treating them to coffee and donuts! The big boss is always welcoming, smiling, and ready to assist, making the whole experience even better.
I highly recommend Bluestar Brothers Body Shop—without a doubt, this is the No.1 collision shop in New York!
Had a great experience w these guys. Was about to sell my Prius and it got hit and run while parked. Blue Star dealt with insurance and had the car good as new - and detailed really nicely - and I only had to pay the deductible. Highly recommend.
blue star is ELITE. story goes I got into a accident on my way home from work.(was not my fault) the other party agreed to pay out of pocket. I immediately went to blue star and was greeted by the best service representative CODY,she guided and assisted me with securing payout from the other party she also kept me in the loop with constant updates as repairs went along. the work was top teir and professional. I recommend highly if you're car is ever damaged especially if you have a foreign/luxury make sure you come to blue star don't even waste ya time anywhere else and if the spot you're thinking about doesn't have a Cody don't bother.
