This rating is based on customer reviews, inventory size, pricing, and service quality
Reviews of CHASE AUTOMOTIVE INC in Brooklyn, NY are overwhelmingly positive. Customers highlight professional, communicative staff (Shane/Mike), smooth insurance coordination, reasonable pricing (mentioned by some), quick turnarounds, and vehicles returned clean and looking new. Strengths: attentive customer service, meticulous body and paint work, and hassle-free pickups. Weak spots: a few serious complaints about paint/parts quality and one safety issue, plus an instance of long delays—so wait times can vary. Little data on inventory, yard layout, or parts hunting. Overall score: 93/100.
What clients say about CHASE AUTOMOTIVE INC in Brooklyn (NY)
After my car was hit, I was stressed and just wanted the whole process over with, but as we all know, it’s never swift. Finding an auto body shop you can trust is stressful in itself. Thankfully, neighbors recommended Chase Automotive on Strickland in Brooklyn, and I’m so glad they did. Nowadays, it seems like everyone is so curt and dismissive, but not Shane. Shane immediately put my mind at ease and guided me every step of the way, answering all my questions and concerns.
The experience was much easier to go through, and my car was fixed beautifully, it honestly looks like the accident never happened. I’m relieved it’s over and extremely happy with how my car looks. Highly recommend Chase Automotive.
Annette here. Soooo, my car was side-swiped and Liberty Mutual referred me to this shop. Those guys are great; especially, Shane. He follows up before you can even call to ask any questions.
Chase Automotive does excellent work honest, reliable, and professional every time. Shane is the best! He really knows his stuff and always takes great care of our cars. Highly recommend!
Chase Automotive is the best! Shane, the owner is super kind, professional, and helpful! It was such a smooth transaction. My car literally looks brand new! They did an amazing job!! Sammy an employee there is soo helpful and sweet! If you need work done this is the go to spot in BK!! Thank you again!
Avoid! Shoddy work, rush job. Your car will look good at first, but you'll soon realized parts are not as promised, NOT OEM original manufacturer , despite approval by GEICO and paid for by GEICO. I will be filing a complaint with insurance about Shane and Chase of deceptive practices.
Pain job was terrible with over spray and color doesn't match when sun directly hits it.
I was given a few body shop places by my insurance company and I choose Chase Automotive because of the online reviews and how close it was to my home. I was greeted with a friendly big smile. Mike explained the entire
process of how my car was going to be repaired and was very honest on how long it could take. I appreciated the top notch customer service from beginning to end. The icing on the cake was when when we went to pick up our jeep it had been washed and detailed. My jeep looked brand new. I will be a forever customer.
Great place to fix your car! They did fantastic job! My car looks like brand new! The job was done fast and my car looks better than ever! If you ned to fix your car don't look any further and go to Chase!!! Mike and Shane will take care of your car!
See before ad after pictures!
They did a beautiful job repairing my car and detailed it too. Looked just like new. All were so professional and they couldn’t have been nicer. I highly recommend Chase Automotive. 10 stars!!
Very professional. They did an amazing job with my car, looks brand new. They even cleaned the car inside and out before they give it back. I would definitely recommend them to everyone.
After an accident Geico sent me to this repair shop, and I was so lucky they did. They've been in business 50 years (2 generations), and their experience shows.
Chase Automotive is wonderful! They took the time to thoroughly examine my car, and fixed every problem I had. The workers were great, every problem was repaired, and they even guarantee their work.
I can't recommend them highly enough! Shane and Mike are the best. :-)

ps, and they even take the time to feed the local squirrels - very nice people!
I visited this auto shop per recommendation of my insurance geico when I needed my car fix for a small accident. They not only took over one month to fix my car but the wheel they “fixed” completely came off!!! I was driving with my grandson and daughter almost causing a wreck. Steer clear!
A top quality shop with excellent customer service! What a gem!
Shane and Mike turned what was a stressful situation (being without a car), to a reasonable, fluid, and ease-going experience.
From the outset of the repair process, I was always guaranteed that they would be doing their best to repair to as high of quality as possible. But nothing could have prepared me for the actual finished work and how impeccably done and precise they were.
I knew I was in good hands when Mike kept me inform on how things were progressing from the start. He made me feel at ease about the whole thing. Then on the pick-up day, Shane and the staff delivered a exterior-ally beautiful, clean, detailed, car.
Amazing customer service! Chase Automotive works so quickly and they do professional work on cars. Shane and the staff were so nice. It was a pleasure to get work done there. I would highly recommend to people.
Having to bring your vehicle in for collision work can be a stressful experience. Let me tell you that my experience was actually very pleasant. I dealt with two gentlemen, Mike and the owner Shane. I knew I was in great hands when I met them. Absolute gems. My suv was repaired quickly and exceeded my expectations. It looks perfect and was also washed and vacuumed when I picked it up. They also allowed me to leave the Enterprise rental car when I picked up my vehicle. A very seamless and satisfying experience. I’m very glad Geico has them as one of their collision agents in Brooklyn or I might not have ever heard of them. Believe me, if you don’t know where to bring your vehicle for collision work, bring it here and relax.
We had to replace some bits of trim on our car, and got the brush from both dealer and local repair shop as the job wasn't very big. The team at Chase got the parts we needed and installed them quickly and at a great price. They are also friends to the local animals (well, a squirrel anyhow) which is a nice plus. When i smash up our car I am coming right back here to get it back on the road.
They replaced my front driver side door and painted... car looks brand new. They washed my car too. Inside and out... great people and great timely service.
You won’t find a better body shop in the tri-state area than Chase Automotive. Shane’s work is impeccable and he stands by everything he does. Michael is always super helpful and the entire team go above and beyond. I live in Westchester and wouldn’t take my cars anywhere else!!!
Great experience! The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable and my car was fixed in a short period of time, but of course that's depending on the damage to your vehicle.
I had an excellent experience, Shane was the best! Someone pulled out from parking and hit the passenger side of my car, and both doors of that side were severely damaged. It only took them a little more than a week and I was so amazed at the car at pick up, it was almost like brand new, all cleaned and polished. I'm so glad I found this place through Geico, I highly recommend!
Chase Automatic is second none. I’ve been to many body shops in my life time and I can honestly say Chase is the best. The workmanship is impeccable. The professionalism, the curtesy and customer services left me speechless. When you see my wife who is a very hard person to please was extremely happy with the overall experience, that’s when I knew I made the choice. The best part of the experience is not the great job that they did with my car, but it’s when I meet the owner Shane. He’s friendly, pleasant and the ultimate professional. When I left my car at the shop I had no worries because I knew it was in good hands. Please it you have body work to be done your vehicle go to Chase Automatic or you will be short changing yourself. When you get there just as for Shane and he will take good care of you.
The owner Shane customer service is off the charts. He is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. You feel like you talking to family or friend and you know you gonna be taken care of.He did my mother's car two weeks ago to perfection, and now I'm taking my wife car to his shop
Chase auto did all their repairs as promised and 2 days early guaranteeing all his work along the way. Shane the owner made me feel like I was the only car in the repair shop I had my car before I could even think about how long the process would take. Chase Auto a great experience from start to finish!
Shane and all the workers at CHASE helped make our unfortunate hit and run situation a smooth and easy fix. Their work is impeccable, and their customer service is outstanding. I highly recommend them, as an honest, high quality shop.
If you are looking for a shop where everything is done professionally, where your favorite car is meticulously restored and painted, then this is the place for you. I had my BMW bumper painted silver and for those you who are not subject matter experts is a very complicated job to hit the right tone of the color. Talk to Shane, the owner of the place, he is a true professional.
I highly recommend CHASE Automotive INC! Shane was incredibly friendly and understanding when I had to bring my car in for repairs last week. Even though it was a holiday weekend, he kept in contact with me about my car and got the repair done quickly and thankfully his prices were very reasonable! I was absolutely amazed at the repair they did and I hope anyone in need of body work on their car in the future, will consider them! My car looks good as new!!! Thank you!
My SUV was side swiped destroying my rear door and scratched other areas. I went to Chase Autobody, who I’ve used in the past. Shane, who is the proprietor took care of me from beginning to end. He has high expectations for his work. Customer service is top priority. He is a person of high integrity. I will only utilize Chase Autobody! Shane is the most trustworthy person I have ever met in this business. He happens to be an artist. He was raised to be an ethical, empathetic business man. Chase Autobody was proudly handed down to Shane to carry on his Mother and Father’s dreams. He sure did accomplish that! I can’t say enough how well taken care of I was. He gets involved making sure that the car rental process goes smoothly. He holds them to the fire if his customer has any issues. I highly recommend Chase Autobody!
I wouldn’t trust anyone else but Chase Automotive. The owner Shane is a fantastic person who truly cares for his customers genuinely. This man loves his craft and takes it seriously. A family owned Business with high standards in excellence. I highly recommend him. Bar nun the best auto body shop anywhere. You can trust their work and high integrity. I have never experienced such a great, high end shop since I’ve owned a vehicle. I recommend them highly.
Work done on my Accord with Chase Automotive, picked up today....FLAWLESS. Nobody does work better than an individual/group who enjoys it or has a passion for it like Shane and Ryan. Giving service to anyone is easy, getting their trust and loyalty is hard. I will trust them with my automotive needs for sure. I will definitely return to them for any of my car care needs. Great job guys, I will keep you guys as my go-to for my vehicles. Thanks again.
