Let me start off by saying this company is wildly overpriced for what it is and that’s saying something, considering the “lot” looks like someone’s house driveway that they decided to turn into a towing yard. You’d expect at least a touch of professionalism for the money they charge, but instead, you get attitude, confusion, and zero accountability.
Trying to get the simplest information was like pulling teeth. Every step of the process felt like they were deliberately making things harder than they needed to be. And then, somehow, they managed to tack on a “storage fee”when my car wasn’t even there overnight. The math—and the logic—ain’t mathing.
This whole setup feels sketchy and unprofessional from start to finish. The way they operate screams “we can get away with it, so we will.”
And honestly, I’m looking forward to whatever snarky, defensive reply the owners decide to post under this, because if you’ve read their other reviews, you already know they love arguing with customers instead of fixing their broken system. Maybe try improving your service instead of your comebacks.
Beware of these scamming/ scheming company. Got my car towed from across my work located at a school. Everyone parks semi/ on the sidewalk on an abandoned side of a building. The first time in 5 years one of the staff members from the school got their car tolled. Sanitation and traffic officers usually ticket and keep it pushing. The dude had an attitude from the jump. He charged $185 for the truck and ANOTHER $125 for dollies bc I had an all we drive. On top of that he charged me a storage fee even though my car did not stay over night. It was picked up 4 hrs later! This company is def sleazy and has something going on with sanitation. I’m sure they call each other to toll cars and make a quick buck. Within the the hr I was ticketed and tolled! He bragged about tolling 10 cars on that same street! Clearly they are not abandoned vehicles. And please DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION IF YOUR CAR IS IMPOUNDED! They are never there as I went their was told by the auto shop he’s NEVER there. THE LIT LOCATED ON 633 glenmore ave. The dude tried gaslighting me saying he never spoke to me and refused to tell me the address before he got my license plate. Beware they will over price you and take photos of all of your personal documents. The took pics of my credit card ! before releasing my car! Shameful!
We received shambolic service from Hertz when our rental car had a flat tyre on Saturday 7th September on I44. Dallas and Donald got us safely on our way by using their own initiative. If it wasn’t for their excellent service we’d probably still be stranded. Cannot fault this company.
I was told by 311 that’ this company towed my car . When I called this place they told me my car was at another company. Anyways Chris the owner was the one giving me the total to pay but I had to retrieve my car from another come. True shady business and my car was in tow for not even 12 hours and I was charged $300 plus dollars . They charged me storage for keeping my car out on the street . Steer clear from this business definitely running a shady operation.
Not too happy about been towed away from a place I wasn't blocking but they professionally towed my AWD pilot like it should be towed with not damage. I'm grateful for that. ...
It seems to me the worst, they damage the car because of their way of towing and they are not responsible for anything, that is, they can even remove parts from the car and they are not responsible for the damages.
The information of this company is false, they do not attend 24 hours a day, as they say on the page, they say that they accept credit or debit cards, they do not accept it, only cash, I imagine to avoid paying taxes, I do not recommend it to anyone
1st time towing experience. Driver was efficient and knew what he was doing. Unfortunately he wasn't very personable. Although he wasn't rude. When you work with the public you should not be so grumpy and unfriendly. Hopefully it was just a bad for the driver.
This towing company is a scam and makes you pay in cash so they can avoid paying taxes. They make you give proof of insurance when car is towed, even though New York state doesn't make you purchase insurance.
My vehicle was towed, when I started my vehicle I noticed it was rumbling when has never happened before, I’ve never had any issues with with my vehicle. A few minutes after starting the vehicle I noticed the oil light turned on in red. At that moment I knew something was wrong with my vehicle, and what ever damage was done had to be during the process of towing the vehicle. I drove it off the storage lot and was only able to make it two blocks away before it completed stopped and turn off. When I contacted the tow company, they stated they it’s impossible that they caused any damage to the vehicle. I had a mechanic come to where I had to park my vehicle to check it out, and he informed me that the oil pan is cracked due to my vehicle being lifted by a tow. This tow company should be liable for any damage that was caused to your car while they were towing it. That’s negligent on their part.
I had a problem with my automobile not starting. I called AAA and waited for over three and a half hours so I had to cancel with them. I then called Chris & Son Towing and within an hour they came and delivered my automobile to its destination. I am greatful
It is not fun having your car towed, but totally my fault. Gentleman at tow yard was very nice. Just wish they did not have such restrictive hours to pick up vehicle. They tow 24/7, but you can only get your car back Mon-Fri 9-3:30. Sucks if it happens on the weekend or after 3:30. Again, my fault for the tow. Service was good and price was reasonable.
This guy referred me to a mechanic who stole the drive shaft of a transmission I ordered without me knowing. Meanwhile the mechanic kept telling me nothing was wrong with the car.
Chris is a life saver. We called so many towing companies and was unsuccessful. Chris is knowledgeable and professional. He was quick and he has excellent communication skills. I recommend Chris & Son’s for your towing needs

CHRIS & SON TOWING CAME TO MY RESCUE WHEN I GOT STUCK WITH MY CAR LATE AT NIGHT THESE TWO WONDERFUL POLITE GENTLEMEN HELPED ME OUT N SAVED ME A LOT OF TIME AND MONEY PICKING MY CAR UP N HELPING ME IN TAKING IT TO THE PROPER GARAGE THANK U SO MUCH GUYS UR NUMBER IS ON MY SPEED DIAL WON'T THINK ABOUT IT TWICE IN CALLING U GUYS IF I NEED YOUR SERVICES. PEOPLE I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY CHRIS & SON TOWING IF U EVER HAVE ANY CAR ISSUES???
I can always depend on Chris & Son Towing INC they got my car out of ice and now saved me when I had a flat. Didn't take long at all and made sure the tire shop didn't overcharge me. Thank you so much I also recommended my friends and family.
