Chris the owner is great! Very professional a d friendly! I've come 2x to get my inspection done on my Mercedes and he even fixed my rear brake lights and put new ones in for me! I'd come back for sure!
Such a great place to get quality service in a timely fashion and at a reasonable price. I was able to get my car service go get a coffee from the deli across the street, and the duration my car was on the lift was superb. I will definitely be a returning customer for any further car service needs.
The inspector was polite and professional. He was not sarcastic in any way, and the service was quick & accurately done. He emailed my insurance company on the same day !!
I have to say that Chris is really the best. I always come here when I have issues with my car. He is very attentive and caring. Also he has good rates. You can ask him anything and he will help you if he can. He’s the best. I definitely recommend this place.
I got my car inspected the man told me I'd have to wait about 15 minutes I told him fine. It ended being about an hour. If you have something to do, I'd advise not to go there, but if you don't mind making a day out of it, then sure.
The Inspection, went well. It's what came after. In a nutshell after inspection was told a Nut and a Stud was stripped. One thing lead to another. Then that my Axial Bolt was stripped. Then needed to change my Axial. What. So got there at 9am left at 3pm. It was that saying. Go in for one thing, they find more !!!
I walked into the establishment and was greeted by a blank stare by the man inside the garage. I asked him if he does inspections and he rudely told me he was starting his lunch and wouldn’t be ready for another hour. Clearly the man has zero people skills. I took my business elsewhere.
Awesome, honest, and quick service! I had taken it to another mechanic who said it wouldn't pass the inspection, and tried to get me for $175 + inspection! I always get a second opinion, Eli is the first honest mechanicnI've met in NYC, and has a great founder story!
If I could give this place zero stars I would. I called to make sure I didn’t need an appointment for an inspection and the guy who answered the phone laughed at me and said we’re open and hung up. I was only five minutes away so I decided to still go there! Big mistake. I get there and the guy ignores me when I first pull into the inspection station. I get out of the car, and proceed to walk inside, he walks outside, still saying nothing. Finally I follow him back outside and he says “are you the one who just called asking if we are open?” I said “yes I called to see if”…before I could finish my statement he cut me off. Proceeds to tell me that’s not what I said l, shakes his head and walks away. I am standing outside of my car in 16 degree weather, seven months pregnant. He finally comes back and said “pull the car inside.” I cut the car back on and he yells, “you didn’t just hear me say I was going to pull the car inside.” At this point I said I was going to go somewhere else because of his attitude. He then says “yea whatever” and walks away. I have never in my life dealt with such toxic masculinity. A person of this low caliber should not be in customer service if their disdain for women is as such. I was completely mortified.
The mechanic was great. He was very helpful, honest and informative. I only went to him for a inspection. I would definitely recommend and go back to him when something goes wrong with my car..
Funniest people at the inspection site. Loved interacting with the owners while they inspected my vehicle. Make sure you get there on time. Highly recommend it for your inspection and auto repair needs.
I usually dont give reviews but this time I had to. I went to 3 different shops on a Saturday afternoon. Each shop had a bunch of unsavory looking characters hanging out in front so I kept going until I got to this shop. The mechanic was an older gentleman (didn't catch his name), he greeted me with a nice Good Afternoon. He was very nice, professional, informed me of a recall and did a neat & clean job replacing my inspection sticker. I would definitely patronize this business again.
