My experience at Meinke was quick, reasonable in cost and pleasant.

Great fast service. I was even given a tour of my car's "underbelly" to see for myself, with clear jargon-free explanations, what was up. I had a loose exhaust hanger. They were able to weld a new replacement while I waited. The advice seemed sound and mindful of my budget. Would definitely visit again!

Kamal is the absolute best! I've used him twice so far. Once in a pinch when my radiator blew IN THE TUNNEL, and again for routine oil and brake change. Honest, fast, and quality work without feeling duped, robbed, or like I didn't know what was going on. Kamal breaks it down in clear language and doesn't do unnecessary work. He knows what needs taking care of NOW versus what can wait. Angelina in the office is also just so lovely. I never call and worry that I won't be well received and taken care of! They are my go to specialists from here on out!

Came in because lights were on in my car, were quick to diagnose and fix the issues. Honest and fast with their service. Will definitely be coming back here if I have car issues.

Buyer beware.

Meineke corporate will advertise a “location specific” coupon and the location will not honor it.

Even worse, an oil change is 2.5x the advertised coupon price.

When I filed a complaint asking Meineke refund me the difference, Meineke called me back and offered no resolution: “as a corporate policy, we don’t provide refunds, only the location can.”

Dishonest advertising to get you in the door, then the local owner ripping you off.

Can’t recommend less—steer clear.

Kamal and his crew are the best! They do the deep dive needed to find the problems that need fixing and take care of them efficiently. I always feel like I can trust his judgment and workmanship.

Did my inspection and gave me a one time flat fee deal for 9 bulbs I needed replaced. Reasonable price, and the staff are lovely.

Servicing is not good I went to them to have my car inspected but they don't know how to turn on my car lights. They said my car lights are broken.

This is where I bring my car for a regular mechanic and inspection. They are always efficient and transparent and do excellent work. Their hourly labor rate is fairly high ($75) compared to other mechanics, but I can appreciate paying their professionals living wages. I found them to be very trustworthy.

Thorough in the diagnostics, reasonable in pricing and quick to repair. Took the car in with a high pitch squeaking while driving. Correctly found something caught in the pad and rotor. Had the car back in 4 hours.

I took my car to this location in Brooklyn because I had been there before for service and thought that I had received good service. However, not yesterday. Both people behind the counter seemed to be angry and annoyed when I questioned the $317.00 charge for the battery. I have never paid such an amount for a battery before. So, I guess the joke is on me. This is the last time I will visit this shop for anything.

OMG, this place was a lifesaver! The lovely woman working at the front desk is the most amazing human on the planet! TRULEY! Not to mention extremely knowledgeable. The location is very unassuming, but the service is impeccable.

Once again, this was an amazing experience I had with my Meineke. The mechanic was excellent! He knew exactly what was wrong with the car just by hearing a couple of sounds after driving the car for only two minutes. He was able to diagnose, articulate and solve the problem right away. He only did what he was told to do and did not go into finding other problems with the car. The car was ready within 24 hours of dropping it off The payment experience was seamless. I definitely highly recommend going to this particular Meineke mechanic located on Atlantic Avenue.

Brakes went on my 2021 Sprinter Van on a Sat night in Brooklyn. Had the van towed to their shop and they took great care of me. On my request, they also changed the oil (diesel engine), ordered and changed 2 tires and performed an inspection while the van was there. They were super informative through the whole process and had the work done within 48 hours. Very friendly and knowledgeable.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at Meineke. I brought my car in after it had been sitting for a few months, hoping to get a professional assessment. I paid cash—because that’s what the owner preferred—and was told that my car needed a complete replacement of the intelligence module, with an estimated cost of several thousand dollars.

As a student, I couldn’t afford that kind of repair, so my car continued to sit. Eventually, I decided to take a look myself. To my complete shock, all it took was replacing one single spark plug—a $6 part—for the entire vehicle to start running perfectly again. Not only did the engine turn over, but my AC and electronics also came back to life.

This wasn’t just a mistake—it was a complete failure of basic diagnostic work. For a company that claims decades of experience, overlooking a basic spark plug and jumping straight to a multi-thousand dollar module replacement is unacceptable. It wasted my time, money, and peace of mind.

I strongly urge others not to trust this shop—or Meineke as a company—with your vehicle. If this is the level of service they consider professional, I’d hate to see what they call a bad day. Now, if the AI goes and makes a comment underneath this comment apologizing well, that’s not enough. You guys cost me so much time on top of that the owner wanted cash.

Best service I ever got, They repaired the brakes on all four of my tires, replaced the discs and the Pats and they did it in less than two hours. They also gave me a discount. They are very professional and respectful. I definitely recommend them.

Love this place! A couple months ago I knew I was due for a brake pad replacement soon. They were honest with me and told me I still had a little life in them if I didn’t want to replace them yet. I came back a couple weeks later to finally get them replaced and they were kind and fast. Couldn’t recommend them more

The below was just a one off:
Normally have a decent experience at this location but tried to make an emergency appointment today (4pm on a Saturday) and was told they close at 1pm, despite their hours saying “open until 5pm”. Now I have to wait until Monday.
