HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE - STAY FAR AWAY
My car got towed while visiting my fiancé, a mistake I'm willing to admit. But the entire experience left me feeling hurt, betrayed, and taken advantage of by what can only be described as a heartless SCAM. There was no notification whatsoever, and I had to rely on my fiancé's apartment staff to get their details.
When I finally managed to contact a lady named Rolanda, the way she treated me was nothing short of devastating. She coldly informed me that I could only retrieve my car on Monday morning at 8 a.m., and the staff there would quote the price. To my shock, it turns out she is the boss, and she wielded her power with complete disregard for my distress.
The next day, her staff demanded an obscene $425 in cash, showing absolutely no empathy. They insisted that it was entirely up to Rolanda to negotiate the price. When I tried to call Rolanda in a desperate attempt to negotiate, I was already in tears. But she refused to pick up my call multiple times, and when she finally did, her voice was disinterested and uncaring. I found myself begging her to lower the price, as it was outrageously unreasonable. They wouldn't even release my car, and her staff said it needed to be quick because he had work to do, all while sipping on his coffee. He even threatened me, saying that if I didn't pay now, they would charge me even more.
Later, I reluctantly agreed to Zelle her the money, still settling at $400. It's absolutely ridiculous that they didn't even have the decency to provide a receipt after I sent the money, showing just how unprofessional they are. I even doubt if they are a legit company. Everything about them was shady. I had to take time off work for all this. They took me to a shady car lot where I had to pick up my car.
Please if you are reading this, avoid this company. They are not just unprofessional; they are inconsiderate, and heartless.
If I can give this place 0 stars I would. Unprofessional nasty stuff especially the lady on the phone. I hope the shop goes out of business please stay away from here
Stay away from this shop. If your car dose end up there like mine did get it out as soon as possible. These people are only concerned about keeping your car as long as possible so they can bill high rates to either you or your insurance provider. It took me a week to get my car out of there. Everytime the tow truck company called no one answered, when they did answer no one was available until 10 or 12 or maybe late afternoon. I'm surprised this place is still in business with how horrible they treat their customers. DON'T BELIEVE ANY OF THE 5 STAR REVIEWS YOU READ!!. They are posted by friends of the owner or people that work at the shop. Run far away!!!!!!

Awful service. terrible workers. stole items out of my vehicle after towing and giving me a hard time trying to get them back. i even had a hard time getting my own plates back. DO NOT USE!

The worse service I’ve ever dealt with. They have had my vehicle for going on 2months to do 2 weeks worth of repairs. Everytime they say it’s suppose to be ready they come up with another excuse. They even told me my vehicle would be ready on a Saturday 9/26 I called multiple times no answer, when I go to the shop there isn’t anyone there working on cars or anything. A man outside said it was just him there doing tows. This is the very worse repair place to go to
Absolutely horrible company, completely unprofessional. Tells you 1 hour wait and i’ve been waiting for 3 hours, constantly calling every half hour for them to say another 10 minutes he will be there. Then the driver finally calls me after 3 hours to tell me hes picking up another car, dropping that car off and heading to me so it will be another hour ? Should’ve pushed the car to the dealership would’ve been there already. Horrible business will never use them again HIGHLY suggest you look elsewhere when needing a tow truck.
This is the worst company by far. It's been two full day and my car still can get to the dealer which is only 30 minutes from the location that they pick up my car from. I called been on hold for 45 minutes for the manager Max to tell me his drivers have more important issues to deal with. Sir yall have my car since the day before for a 30 minutes drive away.
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Requested a tow at for 8am tow driver never arrived. Received phone calls numerous times from dispatcher that they will be arriving. To my surprise 3 hours later a tow driver still never arrived.
Horrible horrible horrible. I was told they were shady. And it's true. Anytime they want money they find a reason to take your car. I don't know how they sleep at night.
Waited for almost 4 hours for my vehicle to be towed. Everytime i callled them to ask the estimated wait time, they kept saying 30-45 mins. They should re-name their business to “30-45 minutes”. I couldn’t wait anymore and cancelled their service. All of the good reviews are most likely fake and were made by their own employees. Disappointed but not surprised.
All reviews are fake and are written by employees and associates. The people who run this company are by far the worst I have ever came across. I called for my pregnant wife's suv to be picked up while she stayed at home. She needs her car to take our son to school and for work I can't give her my car. I don't need her stressed out. We requested the tow service at 3pm it's now 9:05pm and all they keep saying is the driver is 20-30 mins out. Don't deal with these buffoons. They just give you the run around and make you wait till the next day when it's convenient for them to carry out the service. I paid additional fees to cover the extra miles my insurance wouldn't cover. I waited by the car all morning till my wife asked me to come home. Update: 4:00am 13 hours later, driver decides to ONLY text us at 4 in the morning assuming we must live off of social media and not bother to make a phone call or knock on the door. the icing on the cake. He left us the wrong key now he has to come back in another 13 hours by their track record.
The men in the shop was rude the owner was very disgusting and had no respect I would never go back to this shop and i won’t recommend it to others but if you do go I’ll advise you to go with another men they towed my car illegally and when trying to ask them questions they ignored me this was the worst auto shop I ever been to
Got my truck towed this morning by a cool guy named Billy. The job was very difficult since my car was not shifting gears (no neutral), there was a car parked 6 inches in front of me, and the street itself was very narrow. Billy arrived right on time and swiftly handled the situation without a scratch to my vehicle or any other car on the street. He was also nice and funny and showed no sign of distress. On top of that, their rate was literally half compared to some other tow companies I had contacted, so price wise I am super happy. I have immediately programmed their number into my cell because I am a satisfied customer and I highly recommend their services. Independent Auto Body is trustworthy, efficient, reliable and an excellent price for the service. Thanks for a job well done Billy! And thanks to my amazing mechanic at Mandalay Bay Auto Repair for recommending me their services.
