What clients say about Status Auto Care Inc in Brooklyn (NY)
They were hired for snow removal and they did an excellent job. They cleared out two parking lots and sidewalks. We were extremely happy with the services provided. Definitely recommend this company.
My experience with STATUS AUTO CARE was excellent.. I went in to detail my SUV , it came out so clean n shiny.. definitely will be back. Thank you for your service
Following an 18-wheeler hit and run on my beloved 4Runner of 10+ years, I was connected with Jimmy through my sister who has been working with him for the last several years.
I knew as soon as we spoke that Jimmy was the best person for the job. He did everything in his power to save my car which he made clear was his priority from the very beginning. Within hours of my call, Jimmy towed my vehicle from the site of the incident to Red Hook where he and Manuel attempted to contact the driver of the truck with an estimate. When that proved unsuccessful, they assisted me in filing a claim and coordinated with my insurance adjuster. Both of them were very thorough in informing me of updates as they came in, and always made themselves available to answer any questions I had via phone and text. Jimmy and Manuel were always transparent and direct in explaining things to me, especially as this was my first major accident and there was much I did not understand. They took their time with me and treated my situation with the utmost care and attention.
After getting nowhere from filing a police report as well as my insurance company refusing to go after the truck driver despite a mountain of evidence/photos of the accident, Jimmy continued to rally for my 4Runner and worked with me night and day in assuring its repair. He was ready to order the parts and begin the work as soon as I gave him the green-light, which I desperately wanted to do.
After a painstaking month of back-and-forth with my insurance company continuing to insist that they pursue the driver of the truck, I reluctantly accepted the total-loss settlement and gave up my vehicle as its title had to be branded salvage since it was not registered in the state of NY.
This was (maybe unnecessarily hah) a very emotional process for me but Jimmy was by my side every step of the way- he even indulged me saying a final teary-eyed goodbye to my car before Copart came to pick it up. Jimmy is extremely patient, compassionate, and kind-hearted, and I cannot recommend Status Auto Care & their incredible team enough. <3
I have taken far too long to write this review but I couldn't let another day go by without expressing my gratitude.
Amazing experience at Status Auto Care! I got the Gold Package and my car looks absolutely brand new inside and out. They also fixed my flat tire during the visit, which was super convenient and very much appreciated. Great attention to detail, excellent service, and very professional team. They do it all. Highly recommend!
I recently had my car detailed at Status Auto Care, and I’m absolutely thrilled with the results! They provided a very detailed wash, taking their time to ensure every nook and cranny was spotless. The person who always takes care of my car, Flaco, is incredibly communicative and keeps me updated throughout the process. Overall, it’s a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend them!
Handles all with professionalism, great communications and the work is flawless. Body work and detailing. Only shop to touch my vehicles, paint correcting and ceramic coating my CT5 V Blackwing, to repairing my TRX and doing the body work on the GMC Sierra. Amazing work.
I can’t say enough about Status Auto Care Body Shop & Detailing. My car had been vandalized, and they not only restored the exterior to look brand new, but also detailed the inside so beautifully it felt like I was driving a completely refreshed car.
From the start, their professionalism stood out, answering my calls promptly, arranging a fast tow, and keeping me updated every step of the way. As a woman, it’s easy to feel taken advantage of in these situations, but they truly looked out for my best interest. I felt respected, supported, and cared for throughout the entire process.
I’m beyond grateful for their service and the peace of mind they gave me. If you ever need auto body work or detailing, make sure Status Auto Care is the shop you choose. They’ll take care of you the right way.
Jimmy helped find and install a new carpet after our car was flooded, and he kept in touch throughout the process. They probably saved our car! Highly recommend
I’ve had cars detailed with this company and the outcome has always been exceptional!
Recently I had my Tahoe wrapped and it was everything I wanted and more! I am so happy with the end result. Their attention to detail is one of a kind! I absolutely recommend this company and will continue to use their services! The bonus was their customer service and attentiveness. They even dropped off my car at my house. You will not be disappointed!
Outstanding service and car looks brand new!
I couldn't be happier with the service I received. I brought my car in for a few repairs and decided to get a full interior and exterior detail as well, and the results were phenomenal. The mechanics were honest and professional, clearly explaining what was needed without any pressure to upsell unnecessary services.
The detailing team went above and beyond. My car was a disaster zone (kids and a dog will do that!), but they managed to make it look and smell better than the day I bought it. The paintwork is sparkling, and the interior is so clean I don't even see the dust anymore—it's like driving a new car.
The customer service was excellent from start to finish, with friendly staff who were easy to communicate with. The convenience of getting both repairs and a top-notch detail in one place saved me so much time and hassle. I highly recommend Status Auto Care and will definitely be back for all my future auto needs.
I recently brought my 2021 Lexus LC500 Convertible Status Auto Care Inc. for a full detail, and I couldn't be more impressed with the results. Jimmy & his team did an outstanding job every inch of the car was spotless from North South East West etc etc & the attention to detail was second to none. The exterior look showroom-ready & the interior feels completely refreshed.
Jimmy and his staff was very professional efficient and clearly takes much pride in their work. It's hard to find that level of care these days. I highly recommend Status Auto Care Inc. to anyone looking for top quality detailing and exceptional service ?? ? all the way 100% Without a doubt I'm definitely bringing my SUV to Status Auto Care Inc!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had a freak incident where a tire hit my car while I was driving on the highway (very terrifying). It left several tire scuff marks on my car, which Jimmy took care of it for me - quickly and professionally. He's the absolute best.
I cannot say enough good things about this body shop! After going through a really stressful time with my car after a collision accident, they went above and beyond to help me get back on the road. From start to finish, the team was incredible. They handled everything professionally and even picked up and dropped off my vehicle for me, which was such a huge convenience.
They also helped me out with rental reimbursement for some of the days I needed a car, which I really appreciated. When I finally got my car back, I was absolutely blown away. They detailed it beautifully and it looked like it just came off the lot! I’ve gotten so many compliments on how clean and shiny it looks, especially the wheels!
The repairs took some time because I had more damage than I realized, but quality work is worth the wait, and they kept me informed throughout the process. The results speak for themselves. I’m so grateful for their dedication and the extra mile they went to take care of me during a very overwhelming and difficult situation.
If you need body work done, this is the place to go. Thank you for everything!

I recently had my car serviced by Status Auto Care, and I can't express enough how thrilled I am with the results. After some wear and tear, my vehicle needed some serious TLC, and the team at Status Auto Care delivered beyond my expectations.
From the moment I dropped off my car, the staff was professional and attentive, taking the time to understand my specific concerns. When I picked it up, my car looked as if it had just rolled off the showroom floor. The attention to detail was impeccable—every inch was spotless, the exterior gleamed, and the interior felt fresh and inviting.
Overall, I highly recommend Status Auto Care to anyone seeking to restore their vehicle to mint condition. Their expertise, customer service, and commitment to quality truly distinguish them. I will definitely be returning for future services!
The staff was incredibly professional and knowledgeable… They kept me informed at every step, providing clear updates and explaining everything that needed to be done. What truly impressed me was their extra effort: they didn't just fix the damages, they also washed and detailed my car, inside and out, making it look showroom-ready… I can't say enough great things about Status Auto Care Inc…
My car was hit and the guys here took care of me. Took care of the insurance calls and set up my rental. My car was repaird great and was completed with in two weeks.
One lovely Sunday morning a drunk driver crashed my Hyundai Kona 2020 (AKA Konita) while parked. I had worked with Blaze who fixed my car when I was hit by a commercial vehicle back in October 2024 and loved the job he did to repair my vehicle. He mentioned his partner Jimmy’s shop at Status Autocare and I couldn’t have been happier with the service. First, they picked up my vehicle and informed me of the insurance process. Then, they provided the status of the repairs throughout the work with the vehicle and finally she was dropped off to my door when she was ready. Even after they were checking in to see how the vehicle was running. I really appreciate Jimmy and his team and all they did to get my baby girl Konita La Bonita good as new. Thanks again!
I got into a car accident and Status Auto Care provided Outstanding Service and Fast Work! The team is knowledgeable, friendly, and they got the job done quickly at a fair price. It’s rare to find a shop you can truly trust, but this one delivered on time. Highly recommended!
After a man recently hit my car, I started searching for a trustworthy body shop and came across Status Auto Care because of their amazing reviews. From the moment I walked in and met Jimmy, I knew I was in good hands. He was incredibly patient, professional, and knowledgeable—taking the time to answer all my questions without ever making me feel rushed.
What impressed me most was his clear communication and honesty. Jimmy walked me through every step of the repair process, explaining details I didn’t understand in a way that was easy to follow. The work they did on my car was absolutely flawless—everything looked brand new, and the attention to detail was outstanding.
It’s rare to find a shop that combines skill, integrity, and genuine customer care, but Status Auto Care delivers all three. I left feeling confident, valued, and grateful for their service. If I ever need body work again, this will be the only place I go.
P.S
Even though my car wasn’t as luxurious as most of these cars, are he treated it like it was.
Jimmy and Ray were communicative and professional. My truck looks and smells like new. I have dogs and I couldn’t find one hair after they cleaned…. 5 stars all around!
I have known Jimmy for 3 years plus. I had a minor situation where a metal fence fell on my car and deep scratched the rear passenger side door. Jimmy quickly and efficiently made my car look like new, and of course like nothing ever happened. He also kept me abreast of his progress. Good turaround time, fair estimate, total professional. I do not know if I would take my car anywhere else for auto body work. Very convenient location and good hours of operation too.
They are very professional, reasonable prices and great service. It looked like a new car after they cleaned it. I appreciate how detailed they were and everything was done in a timely manner. They provided me with the exact service they promised. I’ve be coming to status auto care for services for a quite some time and they never disappoint! They do offer other auto care services but I specifically go for a detailed cleaning including under the hood sometimes and jimmy always leaves everything looking immaculate! If you are looking for great quality service to take a dent out your car and not your pocket, or just a deep cleaning of your car, status auto care is the place to come! Jimmy and his team go above and beyond!
Status Auto Care is hands down the best detailed car cleaning service I’ve used!
What makes them stand out is the convenience — they came directly to me with everything needed and left my car looking like it just came off the showroom floor. Every inch was spotless inside and out, and they really took their time with the details.
I’ve also visited their location in Brooklyn and got the same top-tier service. The team is super professional, punctual, and clearly takes pride in their work. Whether you’re at home, work, or want to stop by their shop, they’ve got you covered.
Highly recommend if you want your car looking brand new again. 5-star service all around!

Status Auto Care
The BEST full service car wash in Brooklyn. I was very happy with the work that was done in a timely and professional manner. Just a professional job well done. Thanks for the service. Rich Money
Best auto shop in town! My mother got into a fender bender and they exceeded our expectations. Their tow truck picked up the car, repaired it expeditiously, and dropped it off at my mother’s home upon repair. Excellent door to door service. Additionally, their car wash service is top tier. My cars come out spotless and shiny inside and out. Status provides quick and efficient services while delivering the highest quality. I highly recommend Status Auto Care for ALL your car needs.
Status Auto Care more than just detailing lives to the name. My guy Jimmy has been taking care of my cars for years now, and I wouldn’t have it any other way! I never step foot back into a regular car wash. The work is always done to perfection, and prices are affordable. Jimmy picks up my car just about every week. Oh, did I mention he does pick up and drop off too? Being a busy mom of 3, this has been a game changer. Jimmy never fails to keep my car nice and tidy! I would recommend Status Auto Care 1000 times over. I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves. With that being said, tell a friend to tell a friend to tell a friend that Status Auto Care is where it’s at for all your car needs!
