The service was quick and extremely professional. Brought my car over here because my previous shop couldn’t get it done, these guys got it done in a couple days. Brought my x3 in for coolant leak, they replaced the hoses, cleaned the engine bay of all the crud and made sure my car was up and running properly again. Highly recommend these guys, huge thank you to the owner Eric and Serge the tech, they truly know what they are doing!! Can’t thank you guys enough!!!

Best mechanic I’ve ever been to! I own an Infiniti Q60, and every other shop including the dealer told me I needed new turbos or even a whole engine. These guys were honest, transparent, and actually cared. They diagnosed the real problem, fixed it for way less, and my car drives like new. They even followed up afterward! Bottom Line Up Front (BLUF). I highly recommend Eric, Serge and the rest of the Brooklyn Motors Inc team be your choice when needing performance work on your car. I recently purchased a 2024 RSQ8. Wasn’t sure if I wanted to change anything. Also I did not know any European motor shops. While looking at a German website discussing Audi performance work, I came across a place called Brooklyn Motors Inc. I was somewhat skeptical, being a Brooklynite myself, knowing/dealing in Brooklyn…especially auto shos!!! (watch your back)…. My co-worker and I set out to visit Brooklyn Motors Inc. We met Eric Z upon arrival. Boy did we hit a home run. Eric answered all our questions in the manner of an auto enthusiast, not a Brooklyn Auto Repair shop salesman. In fact, his business is far from that!!! He did not try to sell me any services, but rather answered my questions about tuning the vehicle. He said if tuned, it could produce somewhere in the neighborhood of 750 Horsepower. Ooops, he tuned it last Friday, and it came out to 780HP!!!! And the torque was 855. He discussed to cost before hand. No last minute surprises. No hidden costs. And very reasonable costs! Now that I got the appropriate power for the RSQ8, it was time for some minor cosmetics. He suggested black gloss powder coated rims, and wheel spacers. Not only is the ugly aluminum look gone, but the insdie of the rims and coated as well. Thus making it easier to clear! The wheel spacers not only gave the car a great trimline look, but the car felt more stable when I hit 120mph on the B&9044e Bridge. (name intentionally left out). I picked the car up today and its looking and sounding wicked. Eric’s recommendation for the cosmetics gave the vehicle a much needed uplift to its look. I pushed Eric to put the vehicle on the Dyno Jet to test the HP and Torque. I thought the RSQ8 had big cojones before the tune, but now she will not let anyone outrun me. Just look and listen below.

If you’re anywhere in the 5 boroughs, you Must have their number saved in your phone. Eric, and his team are 2nd to none. I’ve been here many times, and NEVER had a bad experience. They will save you money, and time. They’re efficient and actually know what they’re doing. My last visit there, I thought something was wrong with my steering shaft, and had ordered the part, turned out mine was perfectly fine, if they wanted they could’ve swapped it out, and billed me for labor that that was never needed. They’re VERY well priced, their work is dealership level if not higher for half the price. They’re the epitome of professionalism, and do their work with integrity which is lacking in the world today, especially mechanic shops. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Found my new auto repair shop in Brooklyn. Went in for some engine issues and Eric recommended to do some maintenance on the vehicle that has been long overdue. About a month later I had a new issue come up and Eric and his team took care of it for me as well. Honest people and work. Definitely come see him!

They do quality work by the book, everything original and fitted correctly. No cut corners here. Consistently good work for almost a decade, Eric is awesome and really had a good grip on the whole shop and addresses any questions or concerns right away.

Not sure where do I even start?? Eric has been very helpful throughout the whole process. Bought my car in and told him the issues I’ve been having. Told me he’d take care of it and he by far exceeded my expectations! Fixed the wiring issue I had and a clean install of some aftermarket parts for my car. Communication was top notch and kept me in the loop. Everything done looks OEM and super clean. Highly recommend if you are looking for a shop with performance/repairs or anything else

Excellent service throughout the process. My car needed to get serviced (new turbo) and a friend recommended Brooklyn Motors to me. Eric and the team were extremely thorough, transparent and helpful throughout the entire process. I received multiple update calls throughout which was extremely helpful. Brooklyn Motors was able to diagnose the issue and was extremely quick in installing the new turbo that was needed. Brought my B9.5 SQ5 in for 1/ hybrid turbo install for the stage 3 build, 2/ custom exhaust work, and 3/ dyno sessions. Erik and Alex are truly great to work with. Alex is extremely knowledgeable mechanic and will make sure the work is done the right way. Will definitely bring my car back for any future work.

Eric, at Brooklyn Motors on Utica Ave, Brooklyn, NY, has saved our car twice this year. Eric is now our "go to person" for any work on our car. Eric's experience is above and beyond what most other Auto Repair shops do. First, he was willing to look closer at our car's power steering module, and replace parts within the module, something two other garages (both 4 stars) were not able to do. Second, he replaced our entire exhaust system, so that it will pass inspection, again something that another garage could not get parts for. He also noted other servicing needs on our vehicle's rear differential , that could cause major problems if not serviced. We of course had him fix this as well. Eric is able to make efficient repairs and get parts quicker than any other shops we have used this year. We were kept aware of the total price of all work as well as any changes that might affect that price, before work was started. He has also followed up every repair with a phone call to check to see if there were any questions and to find out if the car was running smoothly. We feel that Eric has been honest with the work he has done on the vehicle and will keep our vehicle running and safe for our use. Thank you Eric, Nan and Jim

Awesome experience. I needed 40k maintenance on VW Golf AllTrack and was also considering APR ECU upgrade. Eric also suggested APR TCU upgrade and provided a quote up front for all the work. His prices were great and he talked to me about various options. I dropped the car off after hours, and picked it up a few days later based on my schedule. Eric explained the work done, was super patient when I asked questions, and made recommendations for future upgrades. They even washed my car and it looked great. I immediately took a roadtrip (12 hours of driving in a day) and the car was perfect, my gas mileage was 4 or 5 MPG better than prior to the service/upgrade and the car is much quicker and fun to drive.

I have been taking my two cars to this shop for the past year or so, and I cannot express how much they have guided me in my upgrades, steered me in the right direction of right or wrong regarding upgrades to my cars. The staff is extremely friendly and very knowledgeable of the cars that they work on. The experience is always and i mean always, extraordinary!

Where do I start? I found Brooklyn motors on Instagram. I contacted them, Eric answered the phone, we spoke briefly. I was comfortable in choosing them to install a few performance improvements on my car. I scheduled an appointment for the following morning. I arrived there early, Alex ( mechanic) was already waiting for me. They allowed me to record the whole process (if you want to see it check out my YouTube channel.) Alex started taking apart the whole front end to make the job easier, faster, and cleaner. Alex knew what he was doing, so I was confident that it will go well. We installed a heat exchanger, charge pipe, intake and high flow DP. A few hours later everything was installed correctly. I was very pleased with the work and the atmosphere. The vibes were amazing! Definitely Recommend checking them out for any work from built motor, simple maintenance and performance upgrades. I’m so happy I found them!

I’ve been to several Auto shops in New York, and i don’t allow many hands to touch or drive my BMW… This place not only has one of the best facilities in Brooklyn, but also the friendliest staff in the auto industry as far as i’ve seen. If your in the Brooklyn area and you want the best service for your luxury or exotic car, this place is pretty much your only option. Thank you Eric and Jay for all the help, these guys are passionate about cars and i will only bring my vehicles here from now on.

Came with my friend a week earlier to get his GTI tuned to APR stage 2 I have a GLI within 10 minutes of leavening we did a u-turn and came back to make my appointment for stage 2 as well as other work. Great customer service guys really know their stuff and Eric and Alex took great care of my baby definitely coming back to have other work done and will refer to friends as well.

First I have to mention there’s not many place I let touch my car let alone drive it and hold it for a whole day. But I was strongly recommended to them and I have to say their work is phenomenal. Great shop and great staff. Walked in one morning and was taking care of immediately. The looks can be intimidating with all the high end cars in the front but they service all makes and models. The shop is probably the cleanest shop I've seen in a long time.

Very professional and friendly establishment. I bought my 01 VW Jetta VR6 to get 2 pieces changed on it but along the line the 3 mechanics working on my car explained that they found other stuff wrong with my car. Before taking it upon themselves to change the other items, they called me and explained that if i want to keep my vehicle running or at least be able to drive it home that it should get done. Picked my car up and it drives better than ever. Best big money i ever spent. I wasn’t mad about it or anything. I was comfortable in paying them because every step of the way i seen where the money was going. I should of been dealing with BMI along time ago. Thanks for everything and especially the amazing job you did on my car. I will recommend others to get their cars fixed at this establishment. Keep up the great work!!!

The best mechanics I have ever been to. These gentlemen took on the task of installing a complicated aftermarket air suspension system. They treated my vehicle as if it was theirs and installed it perfectly. I now trust this shop with all 3 of my vehicles.
