From now on I will purchase my items from Advance Auto, I ordered 2 items online that did not work for me and I went to the Autozone location on Foster Ave for a return. Big mistake on my part, I walked in at 8pm, 1 hour prior to them closing. As soon as I walked in I felt as if I was bothering them, being that they were more worried about their papa John's pizza order. After making a noise ,clearing my throat , and saying hello at the counter. The manager looked at me and said we don't take online returns, it wont work, go to the hub store. He didn't try nor did he want to process the return. I asked for his name and he replied (Max) i'm the store manager, after asking for his name he then tried to cover up by giving me the address to the Utica ave store, telling me " it not far" . Being in a customer service environment for 25 years let's you know when someone is blowing you off. I will take my business where its valued.

I walk into a Autozone in Queens, wait my turn and approach the young man at the register. I tell him its a online order return, he says no problem. Scans the bar code from the email as well as the receipt i present. Once done, he asked for my tel number and my signature on the screen. He then pleasantly explain that the return went back to my card, and thanks me for coming. The Foster Ave manager needs to come to this store to learn customer service. Thank you to the young man at Merrick blvd Autozone for a better customer experience.
This is a good AutoZone to visit. Especially since they have mechanics on stand by. I had someone named Robert put in my headlight yesterday. Thankfully he did a good job.👍
Horrible experience. I would not visit this store again. I went to other locations and had a much better experience. I am aware that this is an auto parts store but yet I expect the supervisors would trained in customer service. I thought they would be attentive, helpful and pleasant to their customers but that was not my experience.
In and out quick to pick up some wheel locks for my Honda Accord. I originally picked up the wrong ones and came back and swapped them out with no hassle.
I went in to get a simple charge a battery and was told my battery is bad. I told the incompetent employee that this battery is 3 months old sitting in my garage, and I checked it with a multimeter and verified it was at 11 volts. I ask to please charge it. He refused. I left and went to the competitor and had it charged. I would stay away from this facility. It's seems to me this facilities tells people their batteries are faulty to get customers to purchase a new one. See the picture below confirmed battery is good.
The next day I took it back to the same facility, and now they stating is good...I wonder why... scammers...
One of the best autozone in brooklyn . I placed a order online and it supposed to be delivered by uber , i called in the shop told them i wont be able to pick up the order from the delivery driver and I asked him if i can come and pick it up in person he said sure and he hold the item until I get to the shop. They have the best customer service.
3 of the ppl whom work there are very rude/ don't want to do their job is the vibe. One women brown skin with locs & another very slim lady drak skin. A young man drak skin with braids or locs. I do wish I had name's yet I don't so I'm leaving the best description I can. The young man was attending to us , the other woman with locs was behind the counter to his left the slim lady was on the side where the customer stands. She is standing to my right having a personl conversation with the other lady with locs 😒 very unprofessional. And the young man is chatting slightly with them here and there. Not really focused on his job nor the customer. The engery is off like we're interrupting or annoying them thier chatting session. By asking for what we want, for them to work or think just do their job. We asked for everything I'd need for a tune up. We gave him what he asked so he could look up the vehicle. I'm new to this so my male companion did the talking, he also has an auto zone account, has driven over a decade so he's familiar with the process.We said we needed everything and this is where the issue began. Asking exactly what we need again? Saying you have to tell exactly all you need for a tune up. Again we say everything. Then the lady with locs decided to start talking to us "well most ppl don't buy everything at one time an blah blah blah this is why we ask exactly what is needed rudely. This is when I decided it's time to go.
I didn't want what we had on the counter nor what they never got. I didn't want nothing they'd touched transferring that negative energy. Sometimes it's not what you say it's how you say it. I'm not a individual that believes a customer is always right. I believe respect should be reciprocal. Very unprofessional anyhoot went to Auto zone on utica. The ppl are working getting the job done and helpful. It was a totally different experience. The man there was good again I wished I'd gotten his name. A light skin mature nice looking knowledgeable man with glasses. We asked him the same thing we asked the other individuals on Foster, and gave him the information he asked same information they asked on Foster. He got everything we needed from the back except for one thing he told us that we had to get from the back of the store. They make the Auto zone experience horrible at this location and probably losing money.
I've had good experiences here. Their diagnostic tool was spot on, and helped me to know what was happening with the car even before it was worked on. The workers are knowledgeable and patient to help you with your situation.🙂
Bought & was sold the wrong part. Attempted installing on site. Part was not compatible. Tried to return 5 min after purchase. Denied because package was open. Part/ package completely in tact. Money lost.
Management was completely unhelpful.
Very disappointed and will not shop there anymore. I stood at register over 10 minutes. Saw associates hanging out chatting with each other and no one came to cash out. I walked up, put the 3 items at the register and walked away. I won’t shop there anymore. No considerations for customers time. Time is valuable
I called to ask if they have the rental tool for the check engine light and they said yes. I went down there and I got the tool and then they also gave me a readout of the code. Not sure the person’s name who I dealt with but he was very good at his job!
The workers barely know the job and they are very rude. I don't know anything about cars so I went to a place that was supposed to know. This worker wouldn't tell me her name but as she was cussing me out I made sure I took a picture so if u do visit the place make sure to avoid her line unless u have the patience of a monk. You're gonna need it.
Tonight I had a horrible experience. One of the staff member was so disrespectful,although his two supervisors were standing and hearing his comments. Neither , reprimand him for his behavior, this is absolutely the worst customer service of all the autozone I have visited. Management needs to educated their staff on good manners and customer service. I know this behavior will ultimately cause the closure of this store.
Customer service is nice from one out of a few. I had a horrible experience there with one lady who refused to help. I won't be going back there again. Customer service is not the best there.
Workers there are not welcoming at all. Nobody to come on the floor with you. You ask a question and they flatly told me that I have to make a choice which I wasn't asking them to. The mature dark man at the cash register was very good. I would never go back there

It’s good to have rapport with your colleagues, but it shouldn’t come at the expense of ignoring paying customers. Management needs to check this staff.
Came here for specific European coolant that is usually out of stock everywhere and needs to be ordered. Went directly to the shelving where it is generally kept, and there was a dummy bottle that said to see an associate for assistance with the product. Not specifically indicating whether it was in stock or not, I proceeded to the front and asked the associate for the item. Guy literally goes it's in the back did you check? I replied yes...and it says to see an associate. He then walks to the back and insists I follow him to check, I refused, he checks anyway, comes back and apologized. 🙃😂 Needless to say, they did have the item in stock but, not all customers are savvy and know what they need or where to check for the item in question. I get it, but to insist I didn't already check or am incompetent isn't it either. - 3/5 Stars here.
I had picked some items, and made a mistake with one of them it was not the correct size and a larger size was not available. The item's plastic was ripped but not mangled. The individual who assisted me took back the item and all was good.
I went in to auto zone looking for a wheel lock key as I didn't have one for my tires to be removed. The gentleman that help me was so personable. As I was panicking due to a flat tire. He calmed me down and made what could have been a bad experience a calming experience. Helped me find the key I needed and sent me on my way.
Don’t believe what they advertised. I went in to ask to have my battery or alternator checked… the woman replied: “ ugh we DON’T do that” go to the Flatbush store. Well… then, WHY ADVERTISE it online and on YOUR FRONT DOOR?!?! Don’t come here if you seriously need help with your car.
I found what I need, but one of their young male cashier could use some training in customer service. I said hello when I approached the register and he said nothing. He had trouble scanning one of my items, so I offered to get another one for him, he didn't answer. I had to ask for a bag and wouldn't put the items in them. I had to do it. As I left I said good night all of his coworkers answered but him!
Customer service was Superb. Thank you so much AJ you were really help and you went above and beyond for me to make sure I got the best experience and also that I got the parts I needed. Also to the other guy I don’t remember his name but he is Jamaican thank you so much excellent customer service.
