Best scrap yard in town they pay the most money compared to anyone else around give them a shot you will not regret it….. Long-time customer extremely disappointed by recent experience I’ve been coming here for five years and even left a 5-star review previously, but I need to share a serious update. After a recent transaction, I attempted to use the cash for lunch and was informed by the cashier that one of the bills was counterfeit. When I immediately went back to the yard to resolve it, management refused to take responsibility, claiming all their money comes from the bank. After five years of clean business, I expected to be treated with more respect. I ended up leaving the bill there and walking away because I want nothing to do with fake currency. One bad transaction in five years is one thing, but their refusal to make it right was plain wrong. Please check your money carefully if you choose to go here.

They pay me way lesss then what copper is worth Saying that it was dirty copper and it was clean! Had to go complain and make them fix it after the 5th time me telling them …. They scam me in daylight

Good people well the workers that contribute to helping pulling the carts and stuff but the main issue is the scale , and the scale person giving you the pay out … they simply just guess numbers u can walk in with 500 pounds and pay out would only be 300 pounds.. honestly take your values else where … there’s many other places in that area that are more honest with pay out

“BE AWARE “There rates are good but what’s the point of that if they take like 45% off there pounds I took 158 pounds of PURE copper … And it was 172 pounds on the wight Ofc because of the cart wight.. And on the print label it shows i only got paid for 101 pounds of copper cause the consider 71 pounds as waste in other words “TARE” Never going back to them and it’s crazy i realize after selling them over 3000 pounds over all of copper

There scale is not accurate and i brought 260 pounds of copper and i only got paid for 234 pounds cause they consider the cart weight was 26 pounds what the heck

I talked with 3 employees over here and all of them were very nice and helpful. That’ rare in this type of business, highly recommended.

These people ROB AND STEAL from their customers. I brought over 250 pounds of copper covered in lead and they paid me 30 cents. When I called and explained what I had in detail, I was told $1.63 per pound. A total waste of time. I hope they are happy taking advantage and robbing their customers! Karma is not nice to those always trying to hurt others. And their scale is not accurate!

Easy place to turn in scrap for some cash. Don't know if I fully trust their scale.

They are courteous and helpful plus they generally pay top dollar for copper in North Brooklyn. The only person who is higher is an old Italian guy in Bay Ridge. A professionally run place, have been there many times, can't complain. Since they are on a weird side street you can park on the sidewalk easily without worrying about it.
