Do not use this service. One girl is very rude on the phone. They will tell you they take card and then the driver will demand cash at drop off. Even when I booked the ride with her the day before there was no hello, no thank you , no please, no customer service just “give me the pick up and drop off”
I called back about the inconvenience of having to go bother my friends for cash and the girl answered “yeah our system is down, you should be asking if youre going to pay with card” which I then said “but the card you give out and the answering machine says you do take card, so maybe tell customers before hand if the system is down? like how some stores say ‘cash or card’?” And she was like “do you know how to ask for something when you want something? Yeah…”
I waited a ridiculously long time for the car, and the dispatcher says it's my fault and the car left, but nobody called to tell me the car had arrived, and I froze outside. The dispatcher even yelled at me.
Good pricing and service most times. Have been left stranded by the service or have had late pickups about 4 out of each 10 car requests. Always would recommend to have a plan B.
I've been a long-time and very frequent customer of Salam Express, and my overall experience with them has always been excellent. They are generally reliable, and the drivers are professional. I truly appreciate the consistent quality they provide.
However, I had a very disappointing and concerning experience today that I feel needs to be highlighted.
I ordered a car to pick me up from the grocery store with only four medium-sized boxes that could easily fit into any small sedan. A minivan arrived, and the driver let me load the boxes without issue. A block or two into the ride, he suddenly informed me that there would be an extra $10 charge per box, or $40 total, on top of the fare. When I challenged this, he compromised to $5 per box, aiming to add $20 to my standard $8 fare.
After arriving at my destination and further argument, the extra charge was reduced to $10. The driver also told the base that I had "big boxes."
This attempt to add a significant and unannounced surcharge for items that are clearly standard baggage and fit easily into the vehicle—especially after we were already on the road—was unacceptable and felt dishonest. While I understand that occasional, minor disagreements can happen, this was a clear attempt to overcharge a loyal customer.
I believe this is an isolated incident, but I am writing this to urge Salam Express to address this specific driver's conduct. Your company's strong reputation for reliability is built on trusts, and this driver's actions today fell far short of your usual standards.
Bottom line: I still highly recommend this company for their reliable and professional service, but be wary of attempts at unannounced extra charges.
They said 7-8 minutes and it took 30 minutes.
Then the car stopped at a different pickup location on the opposite side and made me walk with luggage.
Very disrespectful Ànd disappointing after coming off a red-eye flight.
It's the worst car service ever. They lie about arrival time, when you call to complain, they say we'll the driver was there but you were not. I asked why I didn't get get a call from the driver especially that I was standing outside and no white car passed they hung up on me. STAY AWAY FROM THEM
Highly recommend. I am super picky when it comes to car services, but they were great. They have affordable prices for the service they provide, great communication, and arrived in a timely manner. I got to the airport earlier than expected (which is so rare for me). Thank you so much! Will definitely call you again.
Great service, I landed from my flight and they were right there with a big sign waiting for me! Got me to my hotel within 30 minutes. They reply to my messages right away and everything, highly recommend.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE STOP STICKING YOUR BUSINESS CARDS ALL OVER MY PROPERTY. I DON’T UNDERSTAND WHY YOU HAVE TO TAPE 10 CARDS ALL OVER.
Your employees come every week to stick a bunch of cards everywhere. It gets me so annoyed that I have to go around the house just peel them off and throw it in the trash. PLEASE STOP
I would never use them again!!! I used them twice and both times had the same experience. They gave me a price over the phone but then when it came time to pay at the end of the ride, they charged me more than the original price. I tried to argue with them but nothing doing. It pays to use someone a bit more expensive but honest. BEWARE!!!!
