These people don’t want to help you in the slightest. Had to call 4 times just to see if my car was in the impound lot. After all of that the lady couldn’t even spell out the address and said how many times am I going to call them. Worst service I have ever experienced and to know that I am literally giving them money for towing my car. Smh

My vehicle was towed by this company. I was told on weekends the towing department is closed on weekends. I go on Monday Aug 25, 2025 to retrieve my things the car. My Ezpass, emerald green diamond and things are missing. I went to the office to speak to inform them my things are missing. The receptionist on the 1st floor said to me why would I leave that in my car. It’s my car I can leave anything I want in my car. 2nd valuables was the last thing on my mind after the accident. This company sucks

I recently had my car booted by Knights Collision Experts and was given a receipt that is unreadable due to low printer ink. Seems like a scam company and they probably give you a receipt that’s barely legible on purpose. When I called to request a new, legible copy, the person on the phone was extremely rude, blamed me for the issue, and refused to provide helpful assistance. Instead, they tried to pass the responsibility onto someone else and told me to call back the next day. This kind of unprofessional behavior, combined with the lack of transparency in documentation, raises serious concerns about the company’s practices. There should be better customer service and proper documentation.

My daughter had a flat tire on the west shore expressway of Staten Island 2 days ago. Edgar Bravo of Knights Towing was on the opposite side of the expressway, saw a disabled car and swung around to assist my daughter. I had just arrived at the same time. He was an absolute pleasure to work with, talk to and just a sweet guy all around. Great service as he guided us to the nearby off ramp with his lights on so we felt safe at night and the traffic passing by is always scary. We didn't use his service because I was already covered via insurance and road side assistance was on its way, but he stayed and ensured we were safe. Absolutey fantastic costumer service. BRAVO!!! to Edgar Bravo......like he hasn't heard that before. If anyone is reading this, double his salary, he deserves it........??

I called a co-worker to explain the situation, and we decided to reach out to a tow truck company for help. To my surprise, within just five minutes, a man named Chase pulled up. At the time, I didn’t realize he wasn’t even the driver we originally called—but he jumped into action like he was sent from heaven. His professionalism, confidence, and speed far exceeded anything I expected. This man was fearless, navigating the highway like it was second nature—like he’d been training for this his whole life, almost as if he were the Michael Jordan of towing. My car stalled on the highway, battery died trying to restart it. Chase was not only super friendly and calm in a stressful situation but he also gave me advice that saved me a bunch of money in mechanic fees. Couldn’t have asked for a better tow truck driver. Can’t speak to storage fees as I didn’t have to do that but the towing experience was truly great. Highly recommend if you are stuck on the highway and just need to get out if it.

Dca consumer affairs price is $125. I was charged over $800. Going to be reaching out to department of consumer affairs as long as the highway operation. If you’re reading this because you got robbed too this is the way to go about it. I was prepared to spend more than the $125 ahead of time but this is ridiculous.

Eddy was wonderful. I was really nervous as I was off the highway and he had came and assisted me and dropped me off near my friend’s house. He was wonderful and calmed me down by keeping a very friendly atmosphere which I really appreciated.

AVOID THIS BUSINESS NO MATTER WHAT! If I could give 0 stars, I would. This towing company absolutely is running some sort of scam. I've seen them literally move cars that were legally parked near their business and put them directly in front of fire hydrants just to make space for the cars they were impounding or "working on". Couldn't pay any of them enough to care or give a call back and the first and last time I used them I was missing some electronics I kept in my console and of course they deny any foul play. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS FOR ANYTHING!

Be very careful. These people are scammers. They stole my title from my glovebox so I would not be able to reclaim my crashed vehicle. Thankfully I had my registration to prove proof of ownership. Now I am looking for the title to give the insurance and I find an empty envelope where the title once was. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO DO BUSINESS HERE!

They towed my vehicle and not only damaged it but also stole parts from it. When I confronted them, they gave me the runaround and refused to take responsibility. Their customer service is rude, unprofessional, and dismissive. I am currently working with my lawyer to take legal action against them, and I will not stop until they are held accountable. If you care about your vehicle, do NOT trust this company. Based on my experience, they are running a shady operation, scamming people, and getting away with it. I highly recommend reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and local authorities if you’ve had similar issues. Stay far away from Knights Towing unless you want to deal with damage, missing parts, and a huge headache.

I was rear ended on Van wyck E. This company towed my car without giving me any info. I was taken to the hospital and took me 3 days to find where my car was They charged me 1400$ for 3 nights says my car is hybrid and needs bigger space for safety. Horrible experience, horrible people and horrible customer service.

Avoid This Towing Company at All Costs PLEASE!!! This is by far the worst towing company I have ever dealt with. Not only did they steal items from my car, but when I called to address the issue, they were completely indifferent. Their customer service is atrocious, rude staff, endless hold times, and false promises of a call back. Even after days of following up, they continue to lie and ignore my concerns. Joe, the so called “manager,” I’m still waiting for your call. Your team is beyond unprofessional, and frankly, they shouldn’t have jobs in this industry. In a time of distress after my accident, this company only made things worse. It’s been an entire month, and I’m still waiting for answers about my stolen belongings. If you value your property and peace of mind, stay far away from this company.

I had an awful experience with this tow company, and the receptionist made it even worse. When I called for assistance, her tone was rude and dismissive, and she spoke to me in an unprofessional and disrespectful manner. It felt like she had no interest in helping me or addressing my concerns, which only added to an already stressful situation. I am a NYS certified EMT and was on an emergency call in Forest Hills. I went to help a patient and when I came out, my car had been booted. I was in there for 10 minutes. When I explained the situation, the guy told me that he didn’t care at all and that it’s “the patients problem”. I was forced to pay a booting fee of $195.00. I have never been so embarrassed to be an American. This company should be ashamed of themselves.

Horrible experience waiting for this company to tow my car off of the Whitestone expy. Due to their monopoly with the city they’re your only option. There was no communication every time I call, they were 20 minutes away or 10 minutes away. I end up waited for seven hours on the side of the expressway. Wasn’t able to get off of the expressway until NYPD Traffic truck came and helped get my car started and moved off the parkway for another tow truck to come and get me in a reasonable time horrible experience its a shame that they have a monopoly on the expressways in Queens and they show up whenever they want to if they want to. PS they never showed up.

I had a very pleasant experience with Eddie and this company. I called after my car broke down and I got stuck on the LIE trying to get to work. This is only tow company that handles LIE and major roads. They got to me less than 30 minutes after I called. I was stuck in fast lane and he safely got me into his truck as he loaded my car up. He took me to my repair shop and was so helpful with advice on my situation. As a young woman, I felt safe and helped in this scary situation. Thank you Eddie!! Great highway service. Eddie the tow truck driver was courteous, friendly and very considerate. He went above and beyond his call of duty. It was sweltering hot ? on the highway. He offered to have me stay in the tow truck's air-conditioning cab while he loaded my car on the tow truck's bed. He also gave me a bag to carry some of my stuff from the car. Seldom do you find such tow truck drivers. I highly recommend Eddie and say a big THANK YOU! to Knights Towing.

Broke down late at night on queens highway in a precarious place where Knights is the only licensed option and after being told the wait would be about 45 minutes, was kept waiting well over 2.5 hours with no follow up by the company- I had to call back several times to find out what was happening- and then when they finally arrived I was only provided service off the highway rather where I needed to go for repair. Read my other google reviews- not sure I have ever posted a negative review as I will almost never bash a business, but this experience was truly terrible. I hope NYC sees fit to expand the number of options permitted on restricted roadways because if using this company wasn't mandatory, I'd be surprised to see them remain in business. If I have the misfortune of a next time, I'll be going through 911 rather than calling directly.

There is a certain level of bad that you must reach to be the ultimate worst possible company. This company deals an intimidating tactics a driver pulled over on the side of the road and try to get a woman to tow her car. He he attempted to intimidate me and the lady that her car was stuck I would highly recommend never working with this company

Although our tow truck driver was an Angel, the truck took over 2.5 hours to come to us on the highway. We called repeatedly and customer service kept saying the truck will come in a few minutes when indeed it was no where near us. Worst experience ever. Apparently this is the only company that is legally allowed to take cars off the highway to local roads so another local tow truck company can get you. This is ridiculous

The driver chased me to the place where I parked. I told him that my car was fine, that he should leave me alone, but he refused. He stayed parked next to me against my will. I did not ask for any towing service. The driver is about 2 meters tall and that's why he tried to scare me since I'm a woman. I asked him to please leave but he didn't want to. He threatened me. He was very rude to me. The police gave me permission to stop and he refused to listen to me. Apparently this man needed urgent money since he was willing to threaten me to take my car. I never called him. I did not require his service. The man is a dirty wolf who knows how to steal from people. Poor guy, he really needs to take the money from inocent drivers to survive. The guy does not know how to work ethically. I dont even consider what this company does a real job. Ladies, be careful !

This company is heaven sent and was truly a blessing! They were well equipped to help fix my tires after I was stranded on the road and preparing to be overcharged by another company that could not even help to tow my vehicle off of the road.
