This rating is based on customer reviews, inventory size, pricing, and service quality
From the latest reviews, Prospect Auto Glass in Brooklyn, NY earns 96/100 and shows a strongly positive trend with one sharp outlier. Customers highlight professional, honest staff, clear communication, and fast turnarounds—often same day or under an hour. Pricing is praised as fair, often the lowest locally. Work quality spans glass (windshield, door, rear) and auto‑electrical/stereo/tint, with quick part sourcing for older models and helpful temporary fixes. Service is courteous and some work is guaranteed. One review alleges overcharging; otherwise feedback is consistent. Yard organization/inventory breadth aren’t applicable here.
My car was broken into and the smashed the rear window. I called Prospect Glass and Ali was able to locate a replacement in no time (my car is a 2006 Volvo), took my car to get it off the street and is was ready in no time. Ali gave me a very reasonable price too. I would highly recommend Prospect Glass.
I came here because my car door wouldn't shut at all. I drive a Smart Car Fortwo, so it was a bit more complicated of a vehicle to work on. They evaluated my car and were upfront and honest about the worst-case and best-case scenarios and needed to open the door frame. I left the car with them for an hour while I went to a nearby coffee shop. They called me and informed me that they had fixed it and had the necessary parts. They offered me a great price. They are honest, trustworthy individuals who are committed to their work, and I highly recommend coming here to get your car fixed.

I have been coming here for years for my stereo, remote start and alarms systems, my husband has been getting work done from them since they were on 4th Ave. I always recommend these guys outstanding work as well as great prices on quality merchandise.
They fixed my back window a little over two years ago (Twice in one week, long story). Gave me a good price. They were the cheapest out of the glass places I called in the area. They were very nice and helpful the last time. I had to get my window fixed again. I was able to drop off my car and pick up during lunch. They were professional and very nice. Highly recommend.
I’ve been a customer of prospect auto since it’s inception. Top notch service and competitive pricing.. It’s a smaller shop so you get to deal with the owner directly no fuss no muss . He goes that extra step to keep his customers happy from stereo and alarm instals to electrical issues & broken glass over the years with any make and model vehicle I’ve owned he’s been my go to shop can’t say more!!!!!!
They were very helpful. Offered me a better price than all their competition. They even vacuumed the broken glass and put a temporary window, while waiting for my perfect fit. Service was fast, reliable, and quality. Highly recommend !!!!
