Tow truck driver charge me $50 for jump start, unbelievable. Smoking while driving. Less then 30 minutes they charge me $225, which supposed to be $175
The flatbed tow truck was requested initially due to my vehicle being low and would not start. Needed the towing service 5 times back to back. Smooth and easy pick up/drop off with the flatbed tow and dolly truck, no complaints. Pricing was acceptable.
Unlike many other tow companies that hesitate with blocked driveway calls, S&J was quick and reliable. I called and got an immediate response, sent over the details, and they showed up within 30 minutes. Much appreciated!
I called S&J today after the police came and ticketed someone who was blocking my driveway. Exactly one hour later they arrived and towed the car. It was a smooth and quick process. Highly recommend.
Called these guys for a tow in the morning and straight got left hanging for hours. When I called dispatch to find out what happened, he tells me he they had me marked as picked up. Told him it was a straight up lie then he calls the driver to find out the story and tells me they marked me picked up by mistake. Do better man!!!
State Farm got me this place through their Roadside assistance program at 7:25. I was told they'd be there by 9pm from where where I was stranded in Bay Ridge. They arrived promptly at midnight. Absolute joke. Delayed pickup five times.
I called S&J Towing to have my vehicle towed. The office personnel provided a quick and competitive rate for the service with was the best price I had received while searching for a Towing company. The driver arrived within the hour and was very professional while handling my vehicle with care. From this experience, I highly recommend S&J Towing and I will be using their services again.
These ppl arrive late then they had the audacity to lie about my tire not being a flat ,made me believe it was worst than it really was so I can keep paying them more to tow n store it
If i can do 0 stars i would. This company is disgusting. I called them at 3pm and they told me they were already on a call but when the driver is 10 minutes away they will call & get back to us . It is now 10pm and they have yet to call me back. I’m convinced they gave themselves that 5 stars with the staff because that’s just not how you treat people. Atleast be honest and let me know you cannot do it.
I would not recommend this place. I called to schedule a tow for my pickup truck; they said they had no time available that day so I scheduled a tow with them for the next day between 10-11am. Gave all my info and everything. The next day rolls around, and I hear nothing. I called several times and left a voicemail but got no response. No one ever showed up to tow my truck. I ended up going with a different tow company.
If I could give zero stars I would. I called Friday afternoon at 12:49pm for lock out service. I was quoted a price and given the time of 4pm. By 4:25 no one had arrived or called so I gave them a call back and was told that the driver was still on another call and it would be a while. I said sure, no problem. 3 hours went by and I called them back at 7:43pm. The guy said he would call me right back. It’s now 10:13am the next day and no call or no show. I wouldn’t recommend this company to my enemy!!!
I would say best towing service in Brooklyn and their dispatch randy is highly professional and their driver Alex was very cooperative I would say best towing company in nyc
Undoubtedly, the best roadside and towing company in NYC. Randy the representative was very courteous, helpful, patient, professional. The flatbed vehicle arrived within a few minutes of the call made to S & J and transported my vehicle right into my parking lot. I will most definitely call S & J immediately if i find myself in need of a roadside service.
I would rate this tow trucking company a 0. My eta for having my car tow was at 8:15am I was schedule for 8:30am. I have been waiting for 3 hours for someone to come. I’ve called the company numerous of times getting a reply that someone is 25 minutes away that was at 9am the driving calls me and tells me he’s 40 minutes away due to traffic and the rain. Okay no issue. It’s 10:47 am and it’s been more than 40 minutes. When I call back they tell me the driver is on my street that was at 10:05 am. The driver didn’t arrive till 11:30am. Why lie about your eta?? This is the worse.
Disgusting business practices!!!! Needed a tow for our broken down car in Brooklyn. Less than 3 miles to the garage. $600! Absolutely criminal. They should be ashamed of themselves. Beware!
