This review is directed to the store manager and corporate management.

What is going on with the management at this location? Customers are being towed from your own parking lot while actively shopping inside the store. That is unacceptable.

While I was inside purchasing a license plate cover, a tow truck lifted my vehicle. I had a receipt proving I was a paying customer. The driver then dropped my car and immediately towed another customer’s vehicle. They continued circling the lot attempting to tow additional cars while customers were still inside the store making purchases.

This reflects extremely poor management and a serious failure in customer protection. Your parking lot should not feel like a trap. Customers should not have to worry about losing their vehicles while spending money in your business.

If this is how management allows the towing situation to operate, it needs to be corrected immediately. This experience was unprofessional, aggressive, and damaging to customer trust.

Management needs to get control of this situation.

Went in to look for some car wash and the gentleman there by the name of Jonathan was very polite and helpful highly recommend

I came into advance to look for heet and I was able to find it with a gentleman that was in the back I believe his name is Jonathan if ever there ask for him he was very helpful

Had the privilege to speak with Jonathan what a great experience and so insightful I did not feel for one moment that I was being up sold. I would highly recommend asking for him if ever in the location

I had a great experience working with Jonathan. He helped me get everything I needed to beat the winter weather and clear my vehicle after the storm. He knew exactly which brushes, scrapers, and de icer products worked best and made sure I was fully prepared before I left. Great experience today with Malcom. He was very professional and exhibits great customer service. I was turned away by the Rockaway Blvd location and rerouted to this location for service. I will keep my business with this location due to his kindness and customer service.

I had a issue in which I was unfamiliar with and stressed as my car was acting up. Malcome was so helpful. He stayed on the phone with me and until I got to the place he told me what was wrong and what to do. While waiting for him I noticed how helpful he was with others as well. I hope the manager or whoever can see this. MALCOME is a genuine guy who was beyond helpful. He gives me saving grace that there are still kind helpful people out there. No customer service I went in asking for help with something they sent me to the aisle like i wouldn't know which to get or how would i know the difference sad

These dudes in there cursing and playing around. Dark skinned guy who seemed like he was in charge pointing people to an area to find something that's not there when he could have checked his computer and saw the part wasn't in inventory. These dudes in there acting a fool.

I am extremely disappointed with Advance Auto Parts. They sold me parts that didn’t even fit my Isuzu NPR. I have no idea how the staff could make such a careless mistake. But that’s not even the worst part. When I tried to return the items, I was forced to drive all the way to the farthest Advance store on Atlantic Avenue because supposedly only that location could accept the return.

At my nearest Advance store, I was told their systems are “not connected” and that I must bring everything back to the original store of purchase. This is absolutely ridiculous. In any normal chain store — like Home Depot — I can return items to ANY location, not waste my time and energy driving across the city.

This whole experience was absurd, frustrating, and a complete waste of time. I will never shop at Advance Auto Parts again. Terrible policies and terrible customer service.

Will never go back to this place. The manager is unprofessional. I always buy stuffs from AutoZone. Recently been there twice to buy parts and what I experienced will never go again.

The guy working was super helpful, he helped me pick out what windshield wiper blades I needed and showed my how to change them.

Employees here know little to nothing about anything automotive let alone customer service. Will never return to this location. Close it and fire everyone save the company money!

I visited the store to purchase some oil and needed to use the restroom. The manager, who exhibited unprofessional behavior, informed me that I had to make a purchase first. He made this assumption despite the store being empty and claimed ownership of the establishment, displaying a typical attitude associated with such individuals. I did not see any signage indicating that a purchase was required prior to using the restroom. I intended to buy a case of oil and a filter, but I will now take my business to AutoZone. The manager, who identified himself as Max, demonstrated an attitude that I believe is unacceptable. If I were the district manager, I would consider terminating his employment, as his conduct regarding restroom access is unreasonable. Furthermore, when I attempted to make a purchase, as he had instructed, he shouted that the restroom was closed, which was very unprofessional. His demeanor is evident in the attached photo. It is concerning that the owner or district manager has not addressed the recurring negative feedback regarding Max, as he has been mentioned multiple times. It appears that he also attempted to misrepresent his position by claiming ownership of the store.

I visited location to see if they were accepting UPS packages for drop off and the manager Max agreed to take package. When I returned to drop the package, he refused to take the package stating it was too big. I told them what about our earlier conversation but they still refused. Poor customer service.

Advantage Auto parts welcome me with a smile. I had ordered the wrong part online. Reorder the correct part The item up at the store It took me less than 15 minutes for the whole process. Ordering online can up to 30 minutes before picking up your item at Advance location. Everything went smoothly with my process. Thank you Advance.

Review for their UPS ACCESS POINT: They don’t take “large packages” they say it won’t fit on their shelf. Does it have to fit on a shelf to be shipped? No. The package is 6inches deep and 40inch tall it can be leaned against your shelf. I called head and they did not specify they had a weight/size restriction. There was no apology from them about the lack of communicating that.

Dirty imbeciles

Manager is a piece of work. I bought redtop battery , 5 days ago, not installed still brand new, since I was junking the car so I took it back to return. Was told immediately batteries are non returnable because they electrical part. Asked to talk to manager, he refused to see me.. even tho it is up to the store discretion to accept a return. He didn't even want to look my way. They didn't even look at the battery , the part that gets me, when I went in the store I wanted to buy the cheapest smallest battery, that same manager was the one that upsold me the redtop, talking about 3 year warranty and that the cheap one might break in few months. So not only will they try upsell you, but the second you buy it, they won't honor no return

the dudes that work here have such good customer service skills. no ego, all positive, supportive, and helpful. I do wish the company cleaned up the parking lot they deserve a good looking space.

Went to this store today 2/21 at 6pm to drop off an Amazon return. The tall man that was there from the beginning already looked like he has an attitude. I asked him If he this was a ups drop off location and he said yes. I went to my car and brought the packages to the store. He refused to take one saying that it is too big. I told him that I made sure that Amazon said to drop it off at this location as an ups drop off. He refused to take it. I pleaded with him that I am 7 months pregnant and I parked far and just dragged this from my car to my store, he refused and ignored me. I took the package back to my car and called Amazon just to make sure that it was the correct location and they confirmed that it is okay to drop it off there and that ups will pick it up. I called the store back and asked for the employee name to file a complaint and he said he is the manager and his name was Danny. I explained what Amazon said and he said well we don’t work for Amazon and hung up the phone on me. I never been so humiliated by a store employee in my life and this is a so called manager. They must have serious job security not provide basic customer service or treat people with kindness. I believe that the company signed up to be a ups drop off to attract customers to the store and bring more foot traffic but with employees like this, the customers will not return. I know I definitely not be returning.
