I brought my car In to get service today and Jason cuadros was amazing with helping and answering all my questions, he took my car in before my schedule appointment and car was ready in just a couple of hours,
I recently had my vehicle serviced at Acura of Brooklyn, and I can confidently say it was an outstanding experience. My service advisor, Geremiah, provided a thorough and straightforward explanation of the what was going on with my car, along with the various maintenance options available. In comparison to other service departments, such as Rallye, which is good, and Paragon, which is less favorable, Acura of Brooklyn stands out as the best. I greatly appreciate their professionalism, communication, and the detailed documentation and videos of the service visit that were sent to me via text. Their attention to detail is commendable.
To go and buy your own replacement needs for your vehicle. The price is decent, but one time a mechanic forgot to put the battery clamp back onto the battery went to pick up my vehicle and when I got to my destination, vehicle wouldn’t start. Had to call a tow truck because the key fob would not respond to opening up the door when vehicle was returned to Acura and the tow truck put the vehicle back down. That’s when we realize the key fob started working again because the clamp was wedged back onto the battery, Clint a little bit so yes, the mechanic forgot to put the battery clamp back onto the battery and the battery was shaking like yellow when I opened up the hood.
Kenny Lee is always a pleasure to work with and a true professional. He sets the bar for what you should expect when getting your car serviced at Acura!

Stopped by Acura of Brooklyn at Auto Plaza this morning and the service was incredible! Kevin, Kenny & Jason were my service reps and they were amazing to work with. Can’t wait to be assisted by them in my next service visit!
I leased a new car with them this year and was surprised upon taking it into the service department that they did away with the year of complimentary oil changes. After submitting my dissatisfaction in their survey they reached out immediately. I spoke with Jason and he made everything right and even gave me another complimentary car wash since I wasn't able to use my first one due to the rain. Good customer service does still exist!
I took my car in for B123 service (i.e., oil
change, tire rotation, transmission fluid) and was immediately told my car was making a noise by the agent (sounded the same as always to me). Anyway was told it would cost $199 for the diagnostics but since I was paying over $700 for the B services (yup, you read that right!) they would waive it and give me the report. An hour later, I was told it was an issue with my driver belt tensioner and it would be another $2k for a total of $3k. There was no indication that the issue was urgent nor did they show me the belt - so we agreed to focus on the more “important” B service. I only take my car to dealerships for service and was just at my Rallye dealer in LI (where car was bought) in September for an NYS inspection. There was no indication of a belt issue. Anyway, I figured I would take it to Rallye some other time to check it out. AoB completes the B service and I leave but not before they also hand me an itemized list of over $4k in “estimated repairs” including the belt. About 30 mins later, the dashboard light flags an issue with the “charging system” and “water temp hot”. The car then starts to smoke from the hood. I immediately head back to service center and they open the hood to reveal an old, tattered and cut up driver belt. They then point to the recommended repairs as to what went wrong and to the receipt which has been amended to say “customer complains of noise issue”. It’s a hell of a coincidence that a car that was in perfect condition suddenly is broken and busted just 30 mins after I leave the center and exactly for the very same repairs they were pushing for me to do an hour before. I’ll let you all form your own conclusions but I have my theories. I had the car towed back to my home and will take it to a trusted mechanic.✌?
Updated: 3/17 - Car was fixed on Wednesday, March 15th at licensed mechanic for $700. These guys were charging more than 2x that amount. SMH. Take your car somewhere else!
