I’ve been getting my car inspected and oil changes from this place for years but after recent work I will never be back there. I brought my car for an inspection mid August, they also put on new pads and rotors. A week later my car starts making an incredibly loud squeal from the back tires. Brought it back, they said the back rim was dented and I needed a new caliper. 1500 dollars all said and done yet my car is making the same screeching noise on the brakes. Save your money, go to someone that will actually do it right the first time.
I thank Joe and Team for being kind to me and my car, most places tell me to get a new car, so this is my mindset when I have to deal with my car problems. I took my car here for an inspection and ended up getting some work done. They told me I had a great car which I really never hear from any other shop and they told me it just needed some maintenance. My car now is quiet and feels brand new when I drive it, it feels weird but in a good way haha. The prices they gave me were reasonable considering other shops tried charging me way more. I would definitely come back here again and would recommend!! Thank you guys for putting some new life into my car!!
false advertising! they advertise the cash price while the credit price is 10 cents more with no mention of that on their sign of the gas price! It is shown at the pump once you pull in!
Solid family business with consistently fair prices on gas and mechanical work in a city known for predatory pricing. I won’t go anywhere else. Go to Joe for anything you need!
I had a great experience at this repair shop. My car needed: brakes, strut, shocks, new tires. My car was finished in a timely matter. Joseph Nacmias, the manager, was a pleasure to deal with. The price was right and so was the service. When I drove my car from the shop, I felt like I was driving a new car! I will absolutely bring my car back there again?
Jonh did an amazing job on my 2021 Nissan Altima this past Saturday. All I needed was state inspection and he made sure everything went as smooth as possible. Didn't even waited for more than 15 min and I was on my way. Thank you John and I'll be coming back next summer. Stay safe and be well John.
Don’t bring your car here. Young guy pola is gonna break your car more than fix it, take way too long and good luck coming back there to complain about the service. Avoid at all costs if you value your car. Take it somewhere else.
This is the worst shop in the neignboorhood. The mechanic are rude and none professional. I replaced the break pads, the discs, the battery and the belt and they charged me $1700 which is out of control. In addition, they didn't not place the caliper not the breaks the correct way. I started smelling burnning rubber when I drove and when I took it back the guy said it's the new pads lool. One day, I was crossing brooklyn bridge and I started smelling the burnning again so I pulled up and the discs were red hot. In short, if I went in the highway and didn't notice, the wheel could have blown and only god knows what else maybe the car will catch on fire and me as well. Don't go here it's a waste of money, time, and you can end up hurt really bad from the unprofessional work they do. One more thing, this was all whithin a month from me fixing the car at their place and it all happen because they wouldn't pass inspection for me because in their opinion my car was not qualified. I took the car to another shop, and guess what. He showed me the pads and it seems like they never replaced them and I got charged for it. In whole, these people are scammers, none professional, and they would make you do work that you don't need without thinking of the consequences that this would lead to.
I came in to help fix my car after an accident. They kept changing the pickup date several times (a 5 day job turned into a 4 week job) and then asked for more money which I happily gave them to show I appreciate their service. They let me drive away with parts that were NOT INSTALLED PROPERLY (things were bent, jammed into place, parts were sticking out of the bottom of my car, the headlights were ready to fall off), and a bunch of parts were missing from my car. Now I have to pay extra to fix their mistakes, and buy parts that they took out and didn't replace.
When I confronted the manager, he started blaming everyone else, even blaming me. "You failed more than i did" he said. It was extremely unprofessional, especially since I've shown nothing but respect and appreciation. This 2nd mechanic I went to was able to fix it in a few hours, when this guy claimed this is a 5 month fix.
He even added me on facebook, then removed me after I mentioned there's an issue. He didn't offer any solutions, just excuses, and told me to come back for repairs. How can I trust them to fix my car when they let me drive away with a car that wasn't fixed? They SCAMMED me. Never going back!!
The owner of this establishment uses this business to deceive people. BEWARE IF YOU GO HERE BE PREPARED TO BE SCAMMED! Once you have an agreement on services to be rendered everything changes he states one thing then says another. Please save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. IF I COULD GIVE HIM 0 STARS I WOULD.
The most unskilled workers, rude. I came for an oil change. Not only did they pour oil critically above the maximum mark, they refused to bring it into compliance. Arriving home, I saw that the oil was dripping from below. After examining the engine, I found that they did not tighten the oil filter. I was able to twist the filter with my hands after that the leak stopped! I will never go to this place again! I don't advise anyone!

I don't know if they are good or not. I never took their service. I spoke to Robby/Robi (not sure about spelling) on phone. I asked him how much it will cost me for oil change and tire rotation. He yelled that he doesn't do phone shopping and if I was luck enough, he will see car and do services. I never went to him. Who would take such a rude behavior.
If you like being ripped off, take your car here.
They replaced a battery that did not need replacing, then had the nerve to try to convince my wife we need new brakes (we just replaced them less than a year ago; a mechanic I trust checked for me and said they were fine). At best they’re unskilled, at worst they’re scam artists. Avoid.
When you find an auto business with mechanics that you trust, in any city, it's special. I bought my Subaru from Nacmias a couple of years ago and have been going back for basic maintenance ever since. even my kids love Robby and his dog (chief mechanic). i respect the work these guys do and I get that respect back. they always give me options and are totally honest with repairs. (eg, thought I needed a new exhaust system but they sorted something that would keep me on the road at a fraction of the price.) yes, they may seem short when you first go there, but over the years it's become one of my fave "chores" to drop in and get an inspection, oil change or tune up. remember they work all year, wet, cold, dealing with all sorts of auto horrors. put it another way, anyone you trust with the safety of your 3 and 5 year old has to be good.
This is the place to go if you need tires, or any sort of repairs.Great people, super quick, and good conversation while waiting in their sitting area. Wonderful service, fair, and extremely helpful in explaining all the details involved. Highly recommend.
My experience with the owner, Rich Nacmias, and with Rich’s crew, was entirely positive. Everyone who worked on my car was completely professional and cordial. I was not overcharged for the work and no one tried to pressure me to buy anything, whether a service or product, that I did not need. Rich even brought out chairs for my wife and me so we could sit comfortably in the lounge next to the service area and watch TV while waiting for the work that was done!
These are the rudest most unprofessional mechanics in all of Brooklyn. Especially the short, bald man (Robbie?) who loves to yell and scream at his customers. Save your money for someone else who appreciates your loyal business.
I want to thank Richie and his crew from the bottom of my heart. I bought my car from these guys, and I since buying it, I have gotten myself into some quite silly situations, to name a few: running out of gas, losing the keys, and locking the wheel... before you think I am a complete moron (which, admittedly, when it comes to cars, I am), consider that I work full time and have a baby that breastfeeds exclusively, which means I get no sleep - well, close to none.
So, to come back to Richie - I have called this patient, great guy, each of those times and he has helped me and guided me into spending least money amount possible and just became my car "angel". He always answers, he always helps.
His guys are great too. I personally had help from Marco and Daniel, as well as Robbie. And they were very nice to me - they even helped me put the car seat in place after the car was worked on. My brakes which I ended up replacing because it is a 2009 car, work great. There was a real moron now, who almost caused me to get into an accident if it wasn't for those brakes! I was so happy that I listened to Richie who told me that that time I should not have gone for a less expensive option. My baby was in the car - enough said.
So, I don't have anything negative to say at all except say thank you and I recommend these guys to everyone!
Great service and staff the manager Robby is professional and on point. That’s s is my new spot. I highly recommend if you have a problem others can’t fix, this guy can !!! Definitely a repeat customer
RAVI OR RABI is is his name but all the the credit for one star rating goes to this MIDGET. This BALD FAT guy has the short man syndrome. I went there for a NY car inspection. One of the other mechanic who has extremely polite and helped me with the inspection. This MORON Ravi or Rabi got so upset that the other mechanic brought the car into the shop without asking other him. He began cursing out loud and reminded all mechanics that it was his shop and he ran the show there and always ask him before bringing a new car. That was the most unprofessional behavior if it was truly his shop. But then a gentleman who works at the store told me that it is his uncle's shop and he was just an employee. IF HIS UNCLE IS READING, PLEASE LET YOUR FAT MORON NEPHEW OUT THAT PLACE IMMEDIATELY BEFORE HE DRIVES IT TO THE MUD.
