The sales manager was very rude i called this place and told them that I needed it A loner tool which is a service they provide i needed to loan the battery jump box being my car was dead up the street I was told over the phone. This was possible i walked from 4th Ave for the person at the counter to tell me I can't use the battery box unless my car is in the parking lot.Whatever since that makes I wouldn't need it duh. I was trying to Bring my car there to buy a battery. I buy the jump box after asking.Can I purchase this box jump?My car and return the box to buy a battery.I was told yes , as Long as it's not damaged.. the jump box was partially dead, so I charged it overnight. And it would not start my car... the jump box is a Noco Boost Plus 12v 1000A box. Mind you I asked forthe 800A box and was recommended to get the 1000A to guarantee success... SO, i take the box back now with the intention of just returning it and buying a new battery.Seeing as this jump box has to be defective... The lady salesmanag with short hair open the box, look in it.Cuts it on sees all the parts of there not damaged.\nThen she looks at me and says she can't return it because it's not defective... i told her I drive a subaru forster , a four cylinder 2.5L motor this jump box guarantees me that it could start gas engines up to 6.0L and Diesel up to 3.0L. She said , well , you said you're battery may be dead , I showed her the box where is it says in START dead batteries? She still refused to return it for me... i have had multiple commercial accounts with auto parts stores. Because I am a mechanic of over 10 years. And I can tell you that that was poor customer service and horrible salesmanship.The battery I was quoted for was over a $150.The jump box was only $109 why wouldn't you accept a return from a potential business customer To complete the upsell if nothing else smh they need a little bit more teamwork and communication in that store
I’m so disappointed I went to buy antifreeze, the price on the showcase was different and when you go to check out it’s a different price more expensive, then I found out it’s for almost every single item in the store, and the employees don’t even care,
Needed a battery today 1/12/26. Went on my lunch break. The female cashier was the sweetest person and really helped lighten my stressful day.
Mr. Battery Man-Luis C. Installed my battery even interrupting his own lunch break. I truly appreciated it! Best experience compared to my local AutoZone.
Will definitely come to this location instead!
I bought two cars and that I am restoring. Since it's so close to me, I buy something from the store almost every day. Whenever I ask the staff something, they tell me to go check the shelves. I even asked the guy at the commercial checkout counter one time if I could ask him something, and his response was, "Are you a commercial customer?" All the staff, except for the female employee who works on weekends, are rude. If you have to buy something, I recommend using the self-checkout counter.
I accidentally went to the third closest location. The first location didnt have a tech on hand, to change the battery that I needed to buy. Thank goodness I called before I started heading there to see if they had somebody because my car battery was dead. By the grace of God, I ended up meeting Ms Lela, and she and I bonded immediately and I'm very grateful she was there. She took great care of me and my issue. Everything was seemless. She really knew how to juggle everything and everyone's issue. I will drive back to her store every time bc I trust her and her staff. I will definitely be a returning customer. ?
Im always satisfied with the way that Luis serves me. He's very helpful and he works in a way a manager is supposed to. I will come back anytime and Im gonna recommend people to come here to buy any accesoories for their car.
I woke up to a dead battery, I went to the Flatbush Avenue autozone to get a new one.
in less than 10 minutes I had my battery and a tool kit they lent me to swap out the old one.

The worst service I have ever received at an AutoZone, none of the people who work there have any idea about cars, and no matter how much you specify what parts you need, even if it is to order them online and I come the next day to pick up the product, they are not capable of doing that either, terrible management... And the worst of all is that they may be unemployed, but nobody wants to help you.
Rude personal, didn’t want to help finding a piece at all. I wasted 30 minutes to find it and finally found it in s different zone. Both of workers sent me over there and said “look for it”. But to another customer, who had the same skin color as them (afro american), they even helped unscrew something in the car, despite the fact that working on the premises is prohibited, as the signs clearly state. Have been here before, were no issues with another store assistant. What’s wrong guys? Cause I looked like an Eminem? Not good, not good.
Workers stated they didn't have anyone to install car battery I was there to pick up. My car is dead. They have multiple workers there, and no customers inside or outside of the store.?
Imagine pre-paying for food at a pizzeria, and when you get there they just hand you the ingredients and stare at you.??
Incompetent help and customer service on two separate occasions. Specifically had them look up a part with my personal car make and model, nothing complicated, a stupid wiper size, and the employee picked it for me and it was 100% wrong. Went to exchange 1 of 3 (brand new in sealed package) and they refused to even bother look up the order as I was not given a paper receipt.
Follow up 4 weeks later. We emailed customer service as they requested and SURPRISE!!! We are still waiting for response. Seems to be awful both in the store and at Corporate.
Warning: Do not spend your money at this Autozone. If you buy tools, etc, socket sets here that do not fit your vehicle, they will not accept a store return. You will be denied getting your money back because it's "this store policy. " You will have to make a complaint to corporate to get a process going. This place is very unprofessional. I wish I could give them zero stars. Worst Autozone experience ever in life as they create their own rules. Do business elsewhere.
These people are so rude, I don’t know who they have answering the phones but I called at around 1pm on Aug 6th for pricing on a new battery and tried to have the guy explain the differences in the battery to me and he hung up the phone. Please be more selective on who answers the phones at this location, it will hurt your business.
“Mark” is INCREDIBLY Rude, if he even gave me the right name. He hung up the phone on me 3 times mid conversation. I’ll definitely be stopping by to speak to management. Disgusting attitude at 9:30 AM.
I needed a new battery and salesman gave me and my vehicle's need 100% percent of his attention. He took pride and care in removing and replacing my cars battery. Salesman was knowledgeable and skilled in battery replacement. After job was done my vehicle started with no issue. Thank you AutoZone for time patience and care for my vehicle's need, job well done.
Extremely helpful staff. Went there not having any clue what was wrong with my car and they explained everything to me in a way that was concise and clear. And they offered me several options.
Simply went to find out what was wrong with my car. Expecting to be there long and pay a bit. Josh definitely proved me wrong. Quick and efficient checks and short, detailed explanations. Also, my pockets don't hurt. My new favorite AutoZone. Appreciate it Josh
Great customer service. Helped me multiple times. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. I went and returned items with no problem and the workers actually came out helped me and got the items I needed. Highly recommended. Large store and lots of items and variety. Plus had in stock everything I was looking for. They have self-Checkout and its handicap accessible. Great store, great employees and great customer service as well as variety of items. Thanks again for all your help. Greatly recommended.
Had a detailed question regarding a battery which one of the employees sort of new but deferred to the manager which is preferred over making something up and the manager was extremely helpful with helping me. The security guard there was also extremely nice and helpful! A nice smile and a willing to help goes a long way in retaining customers......
Staff was knowledgeable and attentive to you needs. There was a fellow with very long hair at register who was very good and gave great advice about parts. Our child pee on the floor (2yrs old) and ran behind register and they handled well and laughed it off : ) and gave us paper towels. Wait was not long too.
I've been going to this location for several years now. With the exception of the occasional goofball that they hire then get rid of fairly quickly, the staff that stays for longer periods are usually professional & courteous. They do their job. Store has always been kept well.
