Recently my truck didn't start, so I got it towed to the nearest shop which was the Brooklyn truck stop on 3708 Fort Hamilton Pkwy also known previously as International truck repair from 111 58th street. Mechanic changed some small fuel line gasket and they said that the truck was able to start. The owner told me that fuel injectors have to be changed but he can start with just the injector O rings. I agree to go for it which I later regretted. ($1500 for labor, $490 for O rings). On the top of that he showed me some broken wire connection which he took off without me seeing it taken off, and told me that it has to be changed for new one ($442). After the work was done I seen that the same old dirty wire was still there. I made the picture and sent it to him but he denied it and refused to refund. This leads me to believe I was scammed and now I'm cautious of weather the O ring job was needed or done at all. As you can see in the pictures, despite them showing me the new wire, the old wire is still in and has not been replaced. I strongly suggest not going to this shop.
I had an excellent experience at this truck repair shop. The team is professional, honest, and very knowledgeable. They quickly diagnosed the issue with my truck and fixed it the same day at a fair price. The staff is friendly and keeps you updated throughout the process. It’s hard to find a shop you can truly trust, but these guys deliver quality work every time. Highly recommended for anyone who needs reliable truck repair and maintenance.
Untrustworthy and Unprofessional
They didn’t complete the agreed repairs, added unnecessary work I never approved, and still charged me. My car wasn’t fixed, and I ended up paying for nothing. I do not recommend this place at all.
TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE - avoid this shop
I brought the vehicle here for repairs and paid nearly $4000, including over $1,800 for a "Complete Muffler Clean." Despite multiple visits, the original issue was never resolved.
They also charged me for a PM service but failed to notice a completely worn transmission mount, which caused me to fail inspection right after picking up the vehicle. I had to return several times, and even after that, the check engine light came back. They fixed the transmission mount incorrectly, which caused the second failed inspection.
When I asked for a refund, I was first told it would be issued, but then they changed their story and became very unprofessional.
This shop wasted my time and money. I would not recommend them to anyone looking for reliable or honest service.
I never ever recommend this shop. They are scammers. DONT RELY ON what they say. Whenever you bring your truck, they will diagnose ur truck and will give you cheaper quote. And you will leave the shop. After 2 days they will call you, try to charge you more money. They break your Truck first on purpose, and asks to fix the problems which never you have. All in all they are scammers. Check the truck before you pay.
**SCAMMERS!!! **If I could give 0 stars I would, I went for breaks and a inspections they told me to come back 6 hours later, and when I came back it didn’t look like they even removed a lug nut & the old man told me it was to late to get the inspection sticker and to come back the next day moral of the story it’s been 2 weeks and no sticker and the man is very disrespectful over text

I stopped infront of the shop to ask if they can do oil change and brakes, they said so I pulled in and called a Uber to leave and they said no boss cancel the Uber the truck will be ready in 1 hour, I couldn’t believe what he was saying to me, they put 2 mechanics and got it done, very fast and excellent service, highly recommended
