Avoid at all cost. Scam artists. They took my friend’s car, fixed one thing and broke another. Then kept it for 3 weeks and fixed nothing with unclear diagnosis.

A few months back I brought in my son's Nissan 370z in for a check engine light,on -- it turned out to be just a glitch, giving a false,check engine indication An honest shop is sometimes hard to find -they charged me only the price to look at it- their honesty was MUCH appreciated -- I'd give them 10 out of 10s stars if I could ..

Horrible! overcharged for oil change when I brought my own oil and filter. My car got scratched from one of the workers when they took it in the shop! The guy came to me and said “you going to kill me. I just scratched your car but it’s nothing you can’t even see it!” And yes he did. He recommended me to buy a pen in Autozone to correct it smh ?‍♀️

no stars! I had to put a star just to post this I brought the car in this morning, Provided all the information on the problem with the car? The person at the desk took all my information down. Had me sign paperwork confirming that I know there’s a fee. What they didn’t tell me was, They had no time to work on my car. No one called me all day. when I called, I was told that they’re checking with the tech And will call me back. Lie! I went to pick up my car at 5:30. Nothing was done not even looked at or even moved. So shitty.! If they couldn’t take care of the car, they should’ve told me that in the morning. I would’ve brought it the next day or another day. I lost a whole days work waiting for the freaking car to not get Serviced. And nothing Was done.

I took my car to this shop base off of reviews. Before I take my car anywhere when it the first time I do my research. (This shop stood out the most) when I took my car in for service the energy was good at this place .I explained my problem and situation. check and confirmed it...unfortunately a situation happened on my end but they was still very understanding and helpful.. I was having a decent experience and Emilio was super professional in my opinion, UNTIL the last day when the attitude came out of no where as if the money for the parts were coming out of his paycheck otherwise this place would've gotten five stars easily for their hard work with my car. I do understand that this is a high stress job dealing with people but keeping the professional attitude all through a sale is important to business. I do believe I was nothing but professional and respectful with everyone there but when I was made to sit around for 48 hrs waiting instead of them telling me to come back another day this wasted time. I could've been working or doing something valuable with my time and business I run. I originally came to this location because Emilio was super kind on the phone and the reviews were good. I could've just went to a place in jersey where I live but this place popped up and I decided to give it a try. I am disappointed in how I was treated because work needed to be redone when this place supposedly honors warranties. Like I said, the attitude Emilio gave me at the end was disgusting and I will never ever come back due to this. I said thank you and left. please work on the customer service of your employees and make sure they get the necessary mental health breaks they need. I work with tons of people constantly so I get how overwhelming it can be but keeping a good energy from start to end of a sale or purchase experience is key to getting people in the door. Because of this poor attitude besides the fact I will not be back I cannot refer the 10s of people with cars I know to you guys for it is hard to find good mechanics. I will say to be fair the work that I needed was done at the end

Management very professional and very helpful, answered all my questions and explained what's needed to be done in order to get my car fixed. I was very satisfied with their customer service. I recommend to bring your automobile here. Excellent service.

This place destroyed my car. I went in with one problem and when I went to pick it up it had multiple problems it never had and front bumper was damaged. My biggest mistake apart from taking it there originally was leaving it there when I found all the other issues that they created when I picked it up. I am still to this day addressing/fixing all the damages the mechanic did to my car. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this place.

These guys are the ultimate professionals! They will gladly inform you as to the status of the work being done on your car and they are 100% honest. Forget about your local mechanic. You are not going to find a better shop..Emilio and Hector are top notch !

Ignore my previous review. This location does great work but has management issues. I previously visited this location in order to get an oil change. After they completed their "courtesy check" they determined that the Tie-rods in my car needed replacement in order to pass my annual NYS inspection and that was all that needed to be completed. I agreed to complete the work and scheduled my NYS inspection with them. I came in for my appointment to get my NYS inspection and, after waiting approx 2 hrs, was told that my brake calipers and rear brakes may need replacement but they would have to run a $175 diagnostic in order to determine the exact issue. In addition to the diagnostic they would also charge me for the parts and labor for the work. I was quoted approx $1000 to replace my brakes. After some discussion I was told that my rear brake calipers were the only requirement for me to pass my NYS inspection but they recommend replacing all of my brakes and the price they then quoted was approx $700. After more discussion they agreed to replace my brake calipers and complete my NYS inspection for $220. I agreed to complete the work and left the car with them to be picked up later in the day. About an hour after I left the car I received a call stating that they misquoted my labor and would actually have to charge me $390 for the replacement of (1) brake caliper. I explained that the labor they were quoting me now was higher than the labor they quoted me for the higher scope of work and I questioned why the labor was higher for less work. The manager then got on the phone and stated that the labor quoted to me was a mistake. the MANAGER VALIDATED MY INITIAL LABOR QUOTE. I dont think he recalled that he was the one who validated my labor quote with the employee, Emilio, when I initially agreed to let them replace my caliper. I decided not to let them work on my car and agreed to pick it up however I lost an entire day of going back and forth about pricing and did not get the service that was quoted to me in writing. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and VERY suspicious quoting for services. I recommend that you receive quotes from other sources before agreeing to letting this location service your vehicle, especially if you are unfamiliar with typical car repair prices. I will NOT do business here again due to the manager's actions. -------------------------- Great great service. I am usually very hesitant with working with a new car mechanic. The front desk staff, Emilio, is very helpful and went out of his way to provide great customer service. The team at this location was very clear with helping me identify issues that needed repair, offered a fair price, and they took great care of my car.

I've been using this Aamco location for a few years now after struggling to find honest, good and affordable mechanics. The team of mechanics here are great. They have always be honest and do good work. The General Manager Malik is very knowledgeable as well. I've had nothing, but good experiences when getting my vehicle serviced here.

I just want to start off with saying that if you’re contemplating on using this company or not , do not hesitate. The transmission on my car died on me around Christmas time. I went into the aamco office and spoke to the manager (Hector) who made the whole process a lot easier. He was able to schedule me right away at a very reasonable price. I hope I don’t have to go to a mechanics for a long time but if I do have to I will definitely be contacting Hector again!

My wife and I have been using this location for many years. The staff are super knowledgeable and very friendly they make you feel like home. They will take there time and explain to you exactly whats wrong with your vehicle and will give you expertise advice .These Guys Rock!!!! You have to pull up and see for yourself. After months of back and forth at the Ford dealership and my car continuing to have the same problem, a friend recommended AAMCO. They were thorough in asking questions and reviewing my repair history. They informed me about everything that was wrong and how they’d move forward. I appreciated this because I am a woman who knows NOTHING about cars. Within a week, my car was back to me and the problem was rectified. I went back 10 days later for a follow-up and they gave me a heads up about another issue that may arise. This shows that they are thorough and really care about the work they do. The issue they advised about did end up happening but I am looking forward to going back after the holidays as recommended. I am have no doubt that they will be able to fix the issue.

A fellow colleague of mine introduced me to this establishment and the experience here was great. The explanation of the whole process of what I needed to be done was executed very well. 10 out of 10 on customer service and they’re always on top with feedback. Besides shipping issues I received my car back very quickly. I’ll definitely continue going back here to get work done. Big shout out to Hector for assisting me through the whole process !!!!

They are very professional and really care about the best long term result of your car. Times are tough yet they are working with me with the payments. Have patience with them as a lot of people go to this place because they do a very good job. Malik is very professional and dosent mess around. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place.

These guys are professionals at an affordable price. They make sure they get the job done. I thought I had a computer problem and it turned to be a loose ground touching metal. Very honest and friendly. The team there also went over everything all over the vehicle and tightened up everything to make sure it was secure. After I knew they are honest and trust worthy, I do any work that needs to be done to them from now on whenever I'm in New York. I was so glad they fixed the electric issue that I had them change the oil and align, balance and rotate my tires with their new machinery. Big Thank You to the owner and his team.

Wish I could remember the guys name but he was awesome. Everyone we met there was awesome honestly. My husband and I just got our first car and we took it down to them very nervous about what they might find seeing that it is a lightly used car but we are total virgins cars in general. They were very reassuring, very patient with all my questioning and very very knowledgeable. We had one small issue which they fixed free of charge! Amazing experience, I plan to take my car here and no where else ?

The best shop I've been to ever. They made me feel welcome and comfortable throughout the whole procedure of receiving a new transmission for my truck. They removed my old transmission and dissected it in front of me for my assurance and knowledge that everything is going down correctly. There was no gimmicks. We immediately got down to business as they showed me what parts were affected by wear and tear. They explained everything they needed to do to my transmission and explained why it was important in the case of a rebuild. I recieved my car back within 3 days and a 3 year warranty for if anything wrong would happen. They have a good finance plan for those who can't pay in full. Above all, the best customer service ever. They made me feel like a close friend.
