This is our 3rd time using Veteran movers over a 5 year period and every part of using Veteran Movers was an extremely positive one. From scheduling this last move to the actual move, everyone on these teams are rockstars. Live tracking, open communication, fair pricing - every step of the way was above and beyond. We had Mitchell and his team do the actual move and his work ethic and attitude is absoutely execptional. He and his team took away the stress of moving and did it so efficently and with care. Thank you so much for all your help!!

I hired Veterans Movers for a full service move from Brooklyn to Staten Island for my sister, and I am very happy with the service provided. First, Clay reviewed the items to move with my sister, quoted a price and followed up with me. Once we confirmed the move, Gina stayed in touch, ensuring the move proceeded without any issues. The movers that came to pack and move my sister were courteous, considerate, fast and careful. Not a single item was damaged. While the cost was higher than the other estimates I received, I felt this company did an excellent job. I definitely recommend them.

Amazing service from Veteran Movers from start to finish. Before my move the support staff was clear and communicative and on the day of my move the moving crew was a breeze. The foreman Robert and his crew, Miguel, Melvin and Anthony were incredible. They were quick, thorough and careful with my belongings. I’d recommend this company to anyone. The price is higher than other companies in NYC but it is worth it!

I moved on the afternoon of May 14, 2021 with Veteran Movers (which is now owned by Roadway) and had a team of three movers. I moved from a studio in an elevator building in the Upper West Side to a 2-bedroom in a three-story walkup in Park Slope. My move cost $1,300 and was worth every penny. Pedro's team showed up to my apartment an hour early and were ready to move 20 minutes prior to the estimated arrival window, so I was immediately impressed. Even though they had a morning move before mine, they were ready to go and didn't show any signs of fatigue until the end of the day. The team moved very quickly, loading all of my furniture and boxes on to the truck in about three hours. They even moved two pieces of furniture that I decided to move at the last minute at no additional cost (make sure you tip WELL, these guys work really hard). About an hour later, we arrived at my new apartment and undaunted, the team hauled my couch up the stairs -- it was a real sight to behold and that moment alone was worth the money. Pedro and his team were professional, patient, responsive, alert, and very careful with my belongings. It took about 2 1/2 hours to move in my items, and they packed up the truck and left at around 7pm. None of my items were broken or damaged, and I mean NOTHING. When I move again, I know who I'm calling: Veteran Movers. Thank you so much for making my move so seamless. And shout out to Scott Coleman, my sales rep, who was a pleasure to work with from the beginning and who clearly explained everything.

I would recommend Veteran’s Movers and go further to say that you should be so fortunate to be able to work with Veteran Movers on your next move. From first contact through the end of the move, the entire team was prompt, professional and made moving as low stress as possible. Alex was a great as a first point of contact and contract, and Richard and team for the day of the move were spectacular. Hopefully I won’t be moving soon, but whenever to do- I would rearrange moving days just so I could work with this company again.

These guys were great. 100% recommend. Everyone I dealt with on the phone or in person was kind, professional, and very helpful. The movers were very efficient and took great care to ensure that all of my belongings were delivered to my new apartment in the exact same condition that they left my old one. And fast! These guys are so trustworthy - they found $25 that had fallen behind my desk and even though I was not in the room at the time, they told me and returned it to me. I was anxious about how the pandemic would complicate my move, but I really didn't need to be. Shout out to Howard. I never bother to review businesses, but he earned 5 stars.

Miguel Adrian and Oliver were outstanding. Miguel led the crew and was able to effectively and safely move our belongings from our apartment into storage. They were cautious and efficient in the move and it was easily one of the best moving experiences. Support Veteran Movers - they really exceeded expectations. Scott managed the setup as we had all sorts of Covid complications but he was able to continue to be flexible and was a great move.

I contacted Veteran Movers to help me ship an item from Arizona to California. Having never done this before I wasn’t sure how to manage the logistics of such a move. Enter Veteran Movers and their incredible manager, Chris. Chris is the nicest guy, 100% professional and gets the job done seamlessly. I never had a less-than-positive interaction with Chris and he kept me informed of the move’s progress every step of the way. He under-promised and REALLY over-delivered. He quoted me 10 days of shipping time and I received the shipment in two days. I can’t recommend Veteran Movers enough for their services and professionalism and, best of all, their efforts help support our veterans.

Absolutely wonderful. Without a doubt, the best decision I have made during a move. After the dust has settled from a very tricky and complicated move, I could not be more grateful for how simple they made it for me. The team that moved us was professional, smart, experienced, easy to deal with and went above and beyond. By above and beyond I mean that these guys moved me, set my furniture up, fixed my ALREADY broken coffee table and installed my Nest thermostat. The value is among the best I have ever seen. Don't even bother with another company. This is what you are looking for.

Excellent moving experience with Veteran Movers yesterday. Showed up early (15 minutes early) which was unexpected and impressive, given that I was given a time frame of 1-3 pm for their arrival. Everything was handled with excellent care. Everything made it from point a to point b in one piece. The movers themselves were extremely profesional, polite and efficient. Break down and set up of furniture was perfect. Overall I would highly recommend them if you are moving within Brooklyn because it will make the hectic moving process much easier. Thank you so much! Highly highly recommend and would use them again next time I move.

Veteran Movers’ team led by Robinson was truly a pleasure to work with. Moving is not fun but Robinson and his team made the day a breeze. We have a lot of stuff and moved to a 3rd floor walk up (so not an easy move). They came early, stayed late and made sure everything was exactly where we wanted it. They were professional and friendly. These guys work hard and go the extra mile.

Not much about moving is fun, but these guys made it as painless as it could possibly have been. I contracted with them to move two Boston-area apartments and one filming studio into an apartment and a warehouse in New York City. The large number of fragile and heavy items had me concerned, but Miguel and his team wrapped everything in blankets and shrinkwrap, and treated it all with enormous care. I was impressed by how quickly they got the job done and how willing they were to go the extra mile (they disassembled and reassembled my beds and even did the same with a large sound booth!). Mostly, I was impressed by how adaptable they were. They ran into trouble with a flat truck tire and also had to move that massive truck more than once due to traffic, but they never lost their cool -- and they never showed up late or took longer than they told me to expect. A wonderful experience that really helped make this move much less stressful. My only negative to report is that a cheap bookshelf came apart during the second dropoff, but I can't even blame this on Veteran Movers because it was quite low-quality, had come apart before, and can easily be fixed by replacing a single dowel. Disclosure: Veteran gave me a reduced rate on my move due to some social posts I ran on their behalf, but the above is exactly the review I'd have written otherwise (and Veteran Movers did not see or offer comment on this review text before publication). I'd hire these guys again in a second, and when I eventually move from NYC they'll be the first folks I call. Thanks guys!

We can’t recommend Veteran Movers enough. Walter any his crew Jose M, Zurita, and Antonio S were amazing! They were fast AND good. They had our apartment packed up the day before our move and were complete pros while doing it. Polite, courteous, funny and strong. These guys went the extra mile moving us into our new house in Brooklyn. No parking in front of the house so they carted all of our stuff down the street and up the stairs in record time. These guys really did an incredible job making sure we were all set up in each room before calling it a day. They carted away the boxes to end off what has to be the smoothest move we’ve ever experienced. Pedro and his team did a great job on moving a large house in Scarsdale! The Pedro’s team was always on time, fast, strong, professional, cheerful, experienced, careful. I am also impressed at the level of organization - Pedro’s team really knew who is responsible for which room and who’s doing what - never any of the movers was standing idle or didn’t know what to do next. They were all very kind, polite and cheerful. It was a great pleasure to work with Pedro and his team!

I've moved 4 times in the last 5 years and this is my first time using Veteran/Roadway. Hopefully we won't be moving again for a long time, but when we eventually do - there is NO QUESTION that I will be using them again. It was the easiest, most pleasant moving experience I've ever had. They handled our move with so much care. The walkthrough, the first day (we had to put ALL of our stuff in storage for 4 days because of move-in restrictions at our new apartment) and the last day were all seamless and ahead of schedule. I cannot recommend this company enough. If you've been browsing through Yelp and Google reading reviews - STOP and just use these guys. You will not regret it.

Veteran Movers did it again! This is our second move with them & the experience was as fantastic as the first time around. A big thank you to Jose Fernandez for setting it up and making the process smooth. No underestimated quotes, no surprise fees on delivery, everyone was up front and transparent about the costs involved. Kudos to Walter, Juan, Jose, Antonio & Miguel (the team that moved us). These are some hard working guys. They had us completely moved in a touch over 5 hours -- which is no easy feat in New York City. I can't recommend them enough. Professional, courteous & incredibly efficient. Moving is always stressful; so it helps when you have people that respect you and respect what they do. Well done!

The first part of our cross-country move could not have been smoother. Fingers crossed that all of our items will arrive safely in California. I solicited a quote from three companies as I prepared for our move - Veteran Movers was the first to reply and the first to send a representative to our house for a quote. Another sent a rep a couple of days later and the third was done all online with a person calling two weeks later, after I had already booked Veteran Movers. Ben was courteous, professional and offered the best quote. Another mover was sure he could beat Veteran Movers’ quote but couldn’t. Ben exuded the confidence I needed to start the move of our 25 years worth of possessions 3,000 miles away. If I drove him crazy by emailing at least five times to add yet another item or to seek an estimate, he didn’t show it. Alex and his team arrived an hour earlier than the 9-10 am window, giving me a heads up as they were driving. Alex was also courteous and professional and kept checking with me to assure me that things were being wrapped and loaded with care. He and two co-workers worked quickly and efficiently to move about 3/4 standard truck full of beloved furniture, artwork and precious personal items. We had packed about 27 boxes ourselves and left the professionals to pack furniture, electronics, a chandelier and artwork. It took them about four hours and they cleaned up after themselves. I am very pleased with the moving service thus far. Update : The move was completed last Sunday on Mother’s Day. I was contacted a day before the move and a few times after that by the driver and he and another mover showed up before the anticipated window time. The bulk of the move was very smooth and they were courteous and professional. I highly recommend this company for your move.

I have moved with Veteran Movers twice and can't recommend them enough! If you are looking for a stress-free move with competent hard workers who CARE about your stuff as much as you do, then you can't go wrong with Veteran Movers. My movers, Augustin, Cristian, and Teodor took care of packing my fragile items and had me moved out of my studio apartment within an hour. Book them, they know what they're doing and will get you to where you're going!

Moving is an inherently stressful experience, but Veteran Movers made my interstate move quick, easy and pain-free. My dedicated moving specialist, Richard Solano, was the absolute best: a total pro, who showed up at both locations on-time and smiling, and took great care with all of my belongings and general anxieties about moving. He was lovely in every way. If every mover were like Richard, the world would be a better place. Give that guy a promotion, Veteran Movers! Dealing with the company was a breeze, and I love supporting one made up of so many military vets. I will definitely use them again and recommend them to everyone I know contemplating a move.

AMAZING service all the way through. The process was very easy. I did my research and called 3 different local movers who all priced out relatively the same. I chose veteran movers because I know many veterans personally, so supporting veterans is near and dear to my heart. The movers were quick, efficient, and handled my belongings with care. I am so happy I found Veteran movers. Two of my friends are even now using them for their upcoming moves. I will be using them from now on for any of my future moves.

I cannot recommend Veteran Movers enough! They were absolutely fantastic and ensured that my move went smoothly and without a hitch. Having never hired movers in NYC before, I research and received many quotes from movers in the area. While many movers seemed cheaper at first, because they were based on hourly rates, when I calculated the amount of time that would be needed to move my one bedroom apartment from LIC to Manhattan, I realized that Veteran offered a very competitive price, which was ultimately the best. Additionally, Veteran provided a flat rate (based on the inventory that I provided) and did not charge travel costs. The price I paid on moving day was identical to the flat rate price I was given over the phone by Ryan at Veteran. The fact that I was not surprised by an increased cost on moving day was probably the best surprise of all! Not only was the price ultimately better than anywhere else, but the service was fantastic. James, Shaka, and Howard did an excellent job and exceeded all my expectations. They were right on time, they came prepared, they were friendly, and they were professional. The team took their time to carefully wrap and protect all of my furniture and belongings. James, Shaka, and Howard took care of my things as though they were their own. I was also incredibly impressed by how efficiently they worked. They worked quickly without ever seeming rushed or being hasty with my belongings. Ultimately, everything was delivered in perfect condition. They even helped me organize the placement of my boxes and furniture when I arrived, so that I could conveniently unpack. These guys were just great all around. I would definitely hire them again for my next move!

Veteran Movers was the most professional moving service I’ve ever dealt with. I have moved over 10 times in the last 8 years and I have seen it all. They showed up early, had everything in line with our buildings, and got right to work. They were professional, hard workers and friendly. They definitely took away the stress of moving in NYC and I couldn’t be more grateful. Definitely will use them for my next move.

I used Veteran Movers NYC to move from NYC to San Francisco. I did need to note that while doing due diligence, Veteran Movers had been purchased or invested in by Roadway movers, but no work is contracted out. The move in and out were relatively seamless and successful. I had two PBO boxes that had a bit of damage from the move, but Veteran Movers was quick to resolve the issue and provide a good will reimbursement, as well. This was above and beyond service that was greatly appreciated. The movers on site for both pick up and drop off were extremely courteous and helpful the entire way, communicating throughout the journey. The only difficulty came in coordinating a precise date for drop off, they were only able to provide an exact date 24 hours in advance which was a bit difficult with San Francisco's 5 day advance requirement for parking permits.

Awesome experience. I have used Veteran Movers twice and both times have been so fast and easy. Larry, Justin and James were extremely professional and enjoyable to work with. They moved us into our new apartment in less than an hour even though they had to carry all the furniture and boxes (there were no dollies available for them to use).

After comparing a ton of movers on various review sitas we ended up going with Veteran / Roadway movers to help us relocate within NYC. So happy we did as Richard and his crew showed up at 9am on the dot and immediately designs a plan and executed on it. We were incredibly satisfied with our move, everything was carefully disassembled, wrapped, and reassembled upon arrival at our new home. The moving team (Quentin, Miguel, and Bryan) we had for our move were incredible, kind, and efficient. Gentle with all of our things, nothing broken. Cannot say enough good things about them! Veteran Movers NYC moved us out of our old apartment into our new apartment 2 days ago. The whole process was easy, from the initial phone consultation to signing the contract and then the move itself. I can't thank Jose, Orlando and Raoul enough for their hard work moving our belongings with care, even with the extra 3 blocks walk - everything was intact. They were on time, efficient and professional.
