I had a terrible experience at Bay Ridge Mazda, specifically working with a salesperson named Julio. As a first-time car buyer, I came in trusting that I would be guided honestly through the process. Unfortunately, that was not the case at all. After test driving a car with Julio, we discussed the details and I felt comfortable enough to move forward and put down a deposit because I was ready to finalize the deal. Later on, I found out that the car he was attempting to sell me was not even the correct vehicle that we had been discussing. This created a huge amount of confusion and completely wasted my time. As someone new to buying a car, I relied on the salesperson to be transparent and organized, and that simply did not happen. Instead of trying to fix the situation, Julio was dismissive and unwilling to work out any kind of deal after the mistake. Overall he had terrible customer service. The entire experience felt extremely unprofessional. Overall, it was a frustrating and disappointing experience. What should have been an exciting moment as a first-time buyer turned into a complete waste of time due to poor communication and lack of accountability.

Extremely disappointing experience with Mazda on Bay Ridge and the 2024 Mazda CX-90. The vehicle constantly breaks down and has had multiple recalls it feels like one of the most unsuccessful models Mazda has produced. Every service visit means wasted time and frustration. They promise to provide a loaner vehicle while the car is being repaired, but in reality, they provide nothing. There is no accountability, no customer support, and no loyalty to their clients. I absolutely do not recommend this model or this dealership. A complete disappointment.

Thank you, Bay Ridge Mazda for making my daughter's first car buying experience a breeze. The staff is great and very warm during a cold day. Natalya was an excellent saleswoman with the perfect touch. She made the experience great. I will definitely come back when im ready to purchase my next vehicle.

I’ve been going to Bay Ridge Mazda for the past 10 years and leasing with them only. I just leased our 6th car between my wife and I. I’ve looked at many other luxury cars ie Mercedes/BMW etc, and nothing comes close to the price, , quality of car and most importantly quality of service. They make the process super simple and efficient. I’m looking forward to another 10 years with Bay Ridge Mazda.

She took the time to walk me through every step, answered all my questions, and made sure I felt comfortable and confident the entire time. The process was smooth, transparent, and completely stress free. The dealership staff was welcoming and efficient, and everything was handled quickly without feeling rushed. Thank you David Melendez and Dave Dann for everything. Thanks to you guys. I got a brand new car Mazda CX5 2025. I’m not gonna lie I’m actually satisfied with this Dealership and I’m happy I came here because I don’t think I would’ve had a great deal that I have today Going to another dealership. All my questions were answered and I did not leave a lot feeling insecure about my decision. I traded my car for this new Mazda and besides my BMW 535 this is probably one of the best cars I’ve ever bought. I’m extremely happy with my red leather seats. The interior is phenomenal immaculately clean you offered water and coffee and self served. You will spend approximately five hours, depending on the bank that chooses you for finance they are extremely informative and respectful 100% professional. I highly recommend this place. Just got my car from Bay Ridge Mazda. It was a super simple process, came in few days ago to test drive and figure out which model to buy. I test drove 2 vehicles and I was not forced to make a purchase decision right that moment. Worked with Richard through the whole process. He was friendly, knowledgeable and truly fantastic. We just texted about the rest of the details and picked up my car today. I’m very particular about how the dealership representatives treat customers and especially as a woman coming to test drive, do due diligence and purchase, I felt great and comfortable here. Will be doing more work with them in the future. Specifically ask for Richard Terdjanian when you come in he will take such good care of you. Edit: 3months later - realized that Mazda never sent me my registration papers. Called Richard and literally disconnected in the 1st 10 seconds and put his phone on unreachable. This is terrible post sales service. Also, did our 1st service check - it was quite terrible..they literally messed my rear right wheel where pressure dropped from 36 - 23 in a day!

Dave Dann and his team are an awesome bunch. They are thorough and know exactly how to get things done fairly and efficiently. With deciding between trims and going through test drives, they not only helped me with selection, but accommodated generously with a dealer swap to get me the exact model, trim, and color I was shopping for. Shout out to Luciano, Justin, and Julio for their hard work and sharing their own personal experiences with Mazdas. It’s amazing to see a brand and shop where the staff enjoy the vehicles they sell and actually drive themselves. Thank you very much!

Came in the dealership today at approximately 5pm with my daughter to inquire and ready to purchase a CX90, I spoke to the sales manager and he said he will get a sales rep and setup a test drive. 30-35 minutes later no one assisting. I guess 1 less car sold eventhough cars are sitting in the lot. I guess I'm going to a different dealership. I purchase my current 2019 CX9 there. It was much better then.

Purchased a Mazda CX-30 and we are extremely happy with the vehicle. The buying process was smooth from start to finish. I recently brought my Mazda in for a recall service at Bay Ridge Mazda, and I was blown away by how quick and efficient the whole process was! What I expected to take hours was done in no time at all. the service team was professional, communicative, and got everything handled smoothly. The waiting area was super nice too: comfortable seating, clean, with coffee. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and made me feel valued as a customer. This was the most unprofessional Mazda dealership experience I’ve ever had. We came to look at a 2025 Mazda. The young salesman was polite at first, but the moment I said I needed to go home and show the numbers to my mother (who is providing the down payment), his attitude changed instantly. He leaned back in his chair, slouched, and started speaking down to us, as if we were obligated to buy the car on the spot. When we said we needed time to think, he said: “If you said you’re taking it, how come you’re not taking it today?” Then he brought over a manager — a darker-complexion, middle-aged man with dark hair. The manager spoke even more disrespectfully, interrupting me, not letting me finish a sentence, and pressuring us with comments like: “Either you take it today or I don’t know what’s going to happen after.” I asked several times for a printed quote — he refused. He insisted he would “write it by hand and sign it,” as if his signature meant anything to me. Both acted as if they were doing us a favor instead of providing customer service. The attitude was arrogant and dismissive from start to finish. And the funniest part? We (me and two of my co-workers bought a 2025 Mazda the SAME WEEK at another dealership — for a better price and with professional, respectful service. I've been to 7-6 Mazda centers this week, and this one was twice as expensive as all the others. This location had the worst attitude and the highest prices. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

Dave Dann was wonderful, no hidden fees, got me the car and trim I wanted with the payment I needed. Never had such a pleasure getting a new car. Came all the way to bk from Staten Island just because of ease of communication and transparency Dave gave me. Treated us like family. Luciano Dipreta was great as well. He got my car ready and handled all the loose ends and showed me and set up everything that was needed for my new car. Both made us feel not stressed and will be going back to Bayridge Mazda and them every time we need a new car.

We live in MD close to DC, but found the most perfect 2023 Mazda CX9 Signature trim in Brooklyn, NY at Bay Ridge Mazda. I clicked on it to have someone contact me for more info. Julio Lazaro contacted me and confirmed that this car had only 4,111 miles!!! It was even listed for $2,300 less than another 2023 Mazda CX9 Signature trim that we were looking at with more miles (27,820 miles)!!! Julio communicated with us daily as we purchased the car sight unseen. He even worked with us, our insurance, and the DMV to ensure everything was completed in time for when we would get to the dealership. When we arrived at the dealership to complete the sale and paperwork, the receptionist and Juan greeted us. We sat with Juan who completed all the necessary paperwork with us and then took us to meet the finance manager Bryan Rodriguez who assisted us in choosing which of the 4 Mazda Extended CPO Warranties we wanted and then completed the sale. Everyone was sooooo friendly and helpful! A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE OVERALL!!!

This would be my third Mazda from this place. This is not your typical car dealership; here, you get honesty and a no-pressure atmosphere. I went for a service appointment for my old Mazda and just stopped by to say hello to David Dann. This man is a legend. He offered me a deal I couldn't refuse?. Honestly, this is the only place that doesn't pressure you, and you won't get attitude if you ask too many questions. Most importantly, they show you respect. If you are in market I recommend you to go see David Dann and you don't even have to tell him I sent you. You will get the best service. Thank me later.

This was my second visit to this place for an oil change. The service is top-notch, they do everything on time, give you a report on the car and what they did to it, and if something needs to be replaced, they let you know! I highly recommend them.

I had a fantastic experience at Bay Ridge Mazda! From start to finish, the team treated me with incredible respect and professionalism. Justin was especially amazing — he always answered my phone calls and patiently addressed all my questions, no matter how small. It really felt like he cared about making sure I was comfortable and confident in my decision. There was also a tall Black gentleman who helped me during my visit — I didn’t catch his name, but he was super friendly and made me feel welcome the entire time. Honestly, the whole staff made me feel like I was buying a Lamborghini, not a Mazda! That’s the level of service I received. As for the car itself, I couldn't be happier. Mazda has really nailed it with style and reliability. It looks and feels like a luxury vehicle, but without the luxury price tag. I’m beyond satisfied with my purchase and highly recommend Bay Ridge Mazda to anyone in the market for a new ride. They truly go above and beyond.

Just purchased our new 2025 Mazda 3 Carbon Edition sedan and we are beyond HAPPY from start to finish! David Dann simplified the lease process every step of the way. Very professional, friendly and accommodating -answered all of my questions.. and I had many many questions being a nervous first time Lessee. Another great plus is that our whole process was done remotely so we didn’t have to leave home. Amazing!
