Very smart and honest people! Highly recommend . I have been going to Sal’s for years. I had my car towed there and the problem was a pump. This pump was replaced by Sal’s in September so it was still under warranty. Sal’s is honest and the staff is amazing.

Absolute worst mechanic/transmission shop you can go to. I do not know how there is one hood review or this place can even be in buisness.

I brought my truck in with a transmission leak. He calls me the next days says it’s ready. I go get it and drive to work about 15 miles. Everything is great. I go into work then come out for a few minutes to move my truck. The truck starts throwing random codes and acting up. Now I need to get it towed 15 miles back to Sals. They tell me the car has an electrical issue which I didn’t believe, because the transmission was leaking again, and they need to call someone to look they schedule it. The day comes and the guy doesn’t show, so they still have the car giving me nonsense, finally he says he looks at it and the lead frames bad cause it’s leaking again, so finally he like we’re going to change the lead pan so I say ok, then after starting he calls me and say I need a full rebuild that there’s so much metal in the pan just some powder, after asking around and some research I find out that some small metal dust is completely normal. But I took his word since this is supposed to be a reputable buisness.

Fast forward about another week they tell me it ready so I go to pick it up. As I’m Walking in he calls me. So I walk in he says there is a problem, the dealership sent him the wrong part so it’s going to be another $2,000. I am appalled because it is their job and responsibility to check and make sure they use the correct parts. Later that day he says there’s another option we can reuse the lead frame (which is now good all of a sudden) because that was never the problem. So I am like whatever do what u need to do reuse the parts if u have to because I need my truck back. 2 days later I get the text it’s all good ready to go. I go in the shop waiting he still hasn’t gave me the keys. he prints out the paper work make me sign and pay, then after all is done he tell me the car is having engine issues now. Which the car had no engine issues when it first came to the shop. So I drive the tru k home it runs and drives horrible. I pull up to my house and open the hood because the whole car is shaking now, they even brok the dipstick and put it back like nobody would notice. I will not bring my vehicle back here. They will see me in court. Do not bring your vehicle here for anything I do not know how they are even in buisness.

Mr. Sal is the best transmission repair Master. It was not only fast and professional that he fixed the transmission momentarily but he added a great value by not asking for an appointment to diagnose and also it was a great experience that he does not charge a lot for the repair services. Really recommended!!!

My auto Sn95 mustang didn't wanna shift pass 2nd gear, upon diagnosing it, the technician noticed that when we put it into Drive the computer still showed 2nd gear. He advised to try to first replace a throttle position sensor, instead of doing any big expensive job, I bought the sensor and came back. It took them under an hour to install. Anyways its been a year and 5k miles with no issues. Truly amazing.

Sal’s Transmission was able to diagnose and repair my transmission as needed for a fair price. The shop is utmost professional and very friendly. Athough they specialize in transmissions, they do provide other types of auto services and repairs.The techs are very knowledgeable and proficient.

What a great place. I was going to sell my car when the fly wheel and converter went. Sal fixed for a good price and works like new. Even asked me to come back in a month. He test drove on the spot and said all good. No extras. Forgive me but I cant remember her name but the sweetest girl works at the front desk and she actually helping to push cars into the shop. I rarely do any reviews, however this time is an exception, since I am truly amazed with service. I recently moved from Florida, where I used a dozen of "good" mechanics. Sal is the best I have ever met as the car "technician", not simply a mechanic who knows how to properly take apart / assemble the parts. Highly recommend for any type of work (don't be mislead by the "transmission" title), you will be more than happy!

One of the absolute best transmission repair or put in new transmission stations that there is within 25 mi of me. And I don't know if the 25 mi if they can beat Sal. The owner is a very personable person. Once he evaluates your car you really do not need to get a second opinion. He also does all types of repair and adjustments. All of his workers are professional and extremely courteous. The work is done within the parameters of what sal tells you. But if it takes longer or if you really need something else that he sees, it's done within a respectable time. I have a charger 2013 that had some very particular problems. His mechanics like romaine who worked on my car. Figured it out in more than a respectable time. The garage is super clean, and there's plenty of lifts to get you in for the day. My name is Chris and I have a 2013 Dodge charger srt, and sales transmissions does all my work. I raced the car on a monthly basis extremely fast and I trust him with all his repairs.

I've heard about Sal's Transmissions for many years and thought about using their services way back when, but went with another business. That decision turned out horribly. When I had transmission problems with my current car I didn't hesitate to bring it to Sal's. Sal and Desiree are professional, friendly, and accommodating. My working hours makes it difficult to be there during their working hours, but Sal worked with me so that I could pick up my car at a time that worked for us both.

Decided to add another repair service from Sal. Two weeks ago while driving home my driver's axle gave out. Called Sal's and spoke with Desiree. She told me to have the car towed to them and they would call me back with the diagnosis, even offering a tow for me. Luckily, I had AAA and had the car towed to their shop, and within a couple of days I was back on the road.

The best car service ever, Sal is the best mechanic ever and the most honest. I have been in many car services but Sal is running the mos professional and honest business. I will always go there and recommend all my friends. Sal's service is a peace of mind.
