Ordered a battery. and when I went to pick it up battery was ready, they automatically credited me the core charge becuae I bought the old battery with me. Only problem I had was finding parking.

Worst customer experience. Do not honor their receipts or promises online

The worst place you can visit to replace a battery the guy who was replacing mine was very stupid, a lot what to say but i don’t want to go deeply in describing, just be aware and keep away from the place!!!

I don't know what they are doing here, but apart from pressing keys they can't help with anything else! They can't even do basic things like find a part by its number!

I am extremely disappointed with Advance Auto Parts. They sold me parts that didn’t even fit my Isuzu NPR. I have no idea how the staff could make such a careless mistake. But that’s not even the worst part. When I tried to return the items, I was forced to drive all the way to the farthest Advance store on Atlantic Avenue because supposedly only that location could accept the return. At my nearest Advance store, I was told their systems are “not connected” and that I must bring everything back to the original store of purchase. This is absolutely ridiculous. In any normal chain store — like Home Depot — I can return items to ANY location, not waste my time and energy driving across the city. This whole experience was absurd, frustrating, and a complete waste of time. I will never shop at Advance Auto Parts again. Terrible policies and terrible customer service.

Every time they have someone else working there. I bet they don't pay enough for anyone to really want to stay. But that typically means they don't know anything yet since they just started a week ago. So you can rarely get help. They used to not only allow you but it was mandatory to take your own oil pan inside to dump. Now evidently due to those few who cheat & steal & of course get away with it, you have to give it to the employee. Of course the must hate this having to dump other people's dirty oil. It only adds to the already low morale of the store. Figure your Stuff out A.A.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with a recent experience at your Nostrand Avenue store in Brooklyn, NY. On April 17, I purchased ball joints and tie rod ends from your Atlantic Avenue location. As the parts were no longer needed and remained unopened, I attempted to return them to the Nostrand Avenue store. Upon arrival, I waited approximately 30 minutes for the manager, who was in a meeting. When he arrived, he opened the box, claimed the part was scratched, and refused the return. Notably, an identical item was accepted for return, highlighting an inconsistency in the evaluation process. Furthermore, I was advised to return to the original Atlantic Avenue store, contradicting your policy that allows returns at any location. This experience was both frustrating and inconvenient. I kindly request a review of this incident and guidance on how to proceed with the return of the remaining item.

I'm very disappointed and angry I went into advance auto this morning to buy 2 quarts of synthetic oil for my car .was in there for about 8 mins waiting patiently and the two guys behind the counter didn't even acknowledge me as if I wasn't there there was customer coming in and immediately got taken care of .is it discrimination because I was a woman ? I even told the guy hey can I just paid this I've been here and you have not acknowledge me and he call the next customer that just walk I. .I'm never going there again and it's ashamed because it's in my nieborhood

Went to replace the car battery of my RAV4 se today. Everything are good. Highly recommend.

Aways a great spot to get parts. Guys are very knowledgeable about cars. Aways recommend other to come here.

Went in here a several times. Can't help to notice the folks here are super nice each time I go. It's not a fluke on the days I went in and people happen to be in a good mood. They are honest. If they are not sure they will tell you. I'd rather honesty than getting the runaround or misinformation. They are genuinely nice unlike AutoZone. Bunch of a-holes there. I made a comment on my observations 3 years ago. It's almost 2025 and it still hold true. Great staff.

Get G Teck there, remove brake dust, grease and graffiti, I order parts on the phone and then hour later they had it ready for me

Must say that this one one of the best AAP I've ever been to. The counter person was on point & was very helpful. The shelves we're stocked & had a great selection. Highly recommended.

It's 11am, there are three reps. I asked if I can dispose of the used car batteries. One of them say bring it in. Load two batteries onto the shopping cart, and brought them to the counter. There is nobody in front of me. One dude sits and eats a burger, completely ignoring me, the other enjoying it behind the rack. The third one, who told me to bring the batteries, comes back in about 5 minutes and with the attitude like I borrow some $ and never pay back, bring them tomorrow, we have no cards to issue a credit to. Management needs to monitor those lazy ars "employees" on a 24/7 basis.

Friendly staff, always been a dealer guy when it comes to parts, but this Advanced Auto changed my mind. Pricing is reasonable, staff seem trained on how to look up things and barely any line. Thanks again AAP

Small selection. Not many power tools. Decent for the basics

Great service and friendly staff. Called at 8AM to ask if they do battery installation given some services might be impacted by COVID-19 and it's early morning, not a problem. Picked up and have my new battery installed in less than 10 mins.

I ordered a battery on line.. 15 mins after I placed the order a young lady called me to say it was ready 4 pick up. (Shocked me to get a call). Went into the store and 5 mins past and I was in my car with my new battery. Very surprising service. Great job..

The store itself, most of the times its fully stocked. Now the employees on the other hand, they were really helpful. Me not being knowledgeable on car/knowing the very basics, it really helps that they are always there to help. Previously, I bought new wipers and they offered to install it. So in short, they haven't disappointed.

It's the only auto supply in the area. Sometimes I'm greeted by friendly and knowledgeable staff, other times knucklehead with personality of a rock. [-1/2 star]. Items in circular may sell out and comparable is 2x price. Internet pricing not honored in store/ as much as 20%. So you pay online pick up at store [cool], but when item is ship to home only, not so cool. So 1 1/2 stars off for that.

I am not really sure where the good reviews are coming from. I wanted to buy brake pads from this place online, but found cheaper on Amazon. Then looked up online at their price matching policy for the store, and there it says that they price match legit sites except for the like of eBay. I arrived at the store, asked to price match Amazon, and the sleepy lady told me that they don't do price matches. I showed her online that it clearly says that they do. She then said that they do price match some stores. I said that can she price match any site because brake pads were cheaper everywhere - i.e. told he about pep boys, amazon, auto zone, etc., she said No, we only price match selected sites. Well, I asked her which ones and she didn't answer. Apparently this store is non compliant with their corporate policies of price matching. Also, in store was more expensive than online and she refused to match their online price either, what the heck. I guess I understand why these mom and pops stores going out of business, it's not because amazon is so great, but because these places like this one are terrible, old school and not up to speed with the new generation. This is a next store that will soon close, just like strauss auto.

Great experience at this location. I came in to return an FM Bluetooth device that wouldn’t fit snugly in my 12V plug. Sensing I was disappointed to learn that electronics are not acceptable returns, John asked me a couple of questions about my car and why the device wasn’t working for me and then came up with another solution to make the device work in my car. I am not accustomed to such a high level of customer service and I really cannot thank John enough for listening so attentively and thoughtfully presenting a viable resolution. This store will now be my go to place for anything my 2005 Subaru Baja needs in the future! John, you are a gem! Thank you!

I came here to replace my windshield wiper blades for the first time and Jere' at the front was very helpful. She kept me from wasting money on more expensive but not better performing blades before offering to install for me (but I declined as I wanted to do it myself). Jere' was pleasant, quick and very helpful. Prices in this store are fair and the location doesn't have a parking lot for quick repairs, but it does well.

Standard auto supply store, has all the wax and cleaning supplies that I could want as well as parts for many cars. The place is very large and has plenty of room for people to stroll around. I was getting a ball and hitch for my truck and the sales person was very helpful making sure I got the right size and was rated for my towing needs. Would shop here again.
