Horrible experience. They were super fast to take possession of my vehicle. My truck was gone in a days.. It took three phone calls and three months to get a very sketchy response and very horrible offers to reward you for donating. The KBB value of my truck was at less $1500 but got a tax receipt of $500. The hotel stay has to be applied for thru some creepy sketch looking form for hotels I don't know where and what kind of places they are. Restaurant gift cards are to Restaurants that are of lesser known places. If I could get my truck back. I most definitely would take it back and let it rust in my driveway for the next 10 years before I donate it there again. The junkyard, my local high school, or public radio would of been better.

I've had the worst time trying to donate my car. They told me a tow truck company was going to contact me within 24 hours, they never did. After three days, HFTB called me and gave me the number for the tow truck company. It was an ordeal getting them pick up my car. They were on the way then were not, they were on their way again. It took a couple of days until they finally showed up after numerous complaints from me. It's been a week and I still haven't gotten anything for my donations. I have called several times and HFTB has completely botched my donation. Now their system and they can't email my compensation. I feel like this was a mistake to donate to them.

I was very pleased with my experience. I got a quick response and the pickup date was scheduled within a week. My only complaint was that the tow truck driver was very short and was only interested in where the title to the vehicle was. But once he got what he wanted the process was seamless and I received an email confirming receipt and text info quickly

KUDOS!!! Very quick, accurate, and courteous. I contacted Heritage one day and the following day my vehicle was picked up. Throughout that day, I received timely updates as to the status of the vehicle transport. I submitted my documents as the instructions were provided in a very detailed email. The following day I received more updates and on day three, I received my tax credit receipt. I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised with the organization and execution of this vehicle donation.

The day came to part ways with my mini van! I was truly blessed to be in touch with donating my van to Heritage For the Blind. Each person who has reached out and thanked me, truly filled my heart! They did everything for me, made all the arrangements to pick up my van within 24hrs., took care of my paperwork and actually rewarded me beyond a tax credit, I received generous and useful gift cards! Blessings to all of you at the Heritage in NY from my family in the Hoosier state!

Donating our old vehicle was an easy decision, and I'm so glad we did it through Heritage for the Blind. They were easy to work with, friendly, and the pick up of our vehicle went quickly and smoothly. I highly recommend donating your old vehicles to this great cause!

Easy and stress-free process. Juan was amazing to work with. Who knew this type of a program was around, I'm so glad I found Heritage. I have already shared my incredible experience with several friends and family members. Once I finalized all details with Juan, they were at my home within 3 days. They towed my car away with ease. I feel so much better knowing my vehicle us being used to help the blind. A satisfied client!

A wonderful and stress free experience. We donated a 1997 Ford Taurus that had been vandalized and was too expensive to fix. The whole process went fast and very pleasant. We were happy to donate to such a beautiful cause!

Everything went fairly well. I had requested that the pickup be set for evening which it was not I had to take off work and missing entire day's worth of pay just because the guy wanted to come get the vehicle early instead of late then he got stuck in my front yard so I had to help him get out. that's been done over a week and I'm just now getting the paperwork for the vouchers. I'm glad to be helping out and I'm glad there's charities out there that will help do certain things like this but it could be made to be more efficient and user-friendly process in my opinion. Also they have failed to honor any "free" things that come with the donation... Not getting any response about free hotel stays or the information about the tax deductions.

This was a very smooth process; Heritage for the Blind took care of everything and delivered as promised. They were professional and easy to get in contact with even during the COVID situation. I highly recommend donating your car to this organization. This was so much better than trying to sell my car and most important it went to a good cause. Thank you!

Tried to donate a car. They didnt show up the night scheduled. They sent a tow company the next day. Truck driver said he had nothing but problems from them. I had been assured that I could call a phone number and activate my free hotel stays and tax deduction info. They wouldn't answer their phone. When I mentioned this to the driver, he laughed and said they weren't going to send me anything. The guy from heritage from the blind called later and I told him the story. He was more concerned about getting the name of the tow company than helping me. I told him the deal was off. I still have the car.

I donated an 2004 ford escape. The girl Brittany on the phone was polite and very helpful. They sent Chuck and Eddies Towing and I have to tell you, the driver was very professional, and everything went smooth and quickly. I would definitely use them again for a donation, well worth it.. The whole process was very easy and quick. The customer service representative was friendly and efficient. It was a pleasure to work with them. Within 48 hrs the vehicle was picked up as promised. I would definitely donate again in the future

Nice customer service rep that explained the process. HFTB should review emails and text to update their system or tell people to call once the tow has picked up the car. Otherwise, a seamless process.

The price of steel is currently at an all time low. Even scrapyards that at one time promised a set rate of $250 can only give about $100 for scrap in my area. For a vehicle that still cranks, I was looking to do something where my car wouldn't go to waste, old and "quirky" though it may be. My experience with A.C.B. has been amazing! I would especially like to acknowledge the associate Julie for her patience, kindness, and professionalism. She kept in touch on a daily basis. All of my questions were answered perfectly. The entire process of donating my car was easy and not in the least bit a hassle. Thanks Julie!

I had a great experience donating! The pickup of my vehicle was fast and very well scheduled. The customer service reps were very helpful and quick to follow up. If I donate again it will Definitely be to heritage for the blind.

Every time I spoke to someone they were very friendly and even humerous to talk to! It was a major blessing to have my car towed seeing as I couldn’t do it myself, and I’m very happy that it will go to heritage for the blind for donation. I received an amazing offer for my vehicle. And thank you for that also, it was unexpected and caught me off guard and made my day! Thank you!

I had an older car that was ok but not great. Instead of trying to sell it I chose to donate it to Heritage for the Blind. They had the system for the donation in place to the last dot on the I. Between my phone call and the donation only a couple of hours passed. The car was down the road. The ownership was handled and my receipt arrived promptly. It was nearly as easy as making a donation by check. I recommend them for anyone considering donating a car.

David Sullivan was extremely effective in helping us resolve a frustrating situation. We had a car that basically died on us and after putting in way to much $ we were fed up and just needed it to be gone. We found this source through the internet. To our great surprise how easy it was to donate to such a worthy cause. And David walked us through and took care of us at ever step making it totally stress free!!!! Thank you so much David and the rest of the staff for all of your help and follow-ups. I wish all customer service was this good! PS the tow truck driver was fantastic too. Very curtious, polite and helpful. And arrived ahead of schedule.

The Heritage for the Blind agent who assisted over the phone was professional and warm. The towing company was excellent as well. They arrived before the scheduled time, which was perfect timing, and they completed the job in a professional and efficient manner. I am happy that I donated my car to a reputable company and a worthy cause.

Erica I think her name was..ext 7033..was extremely helpful. She has GREAT customer service!! She was quick to answer all my questions and follow through. Had a couple of issues with tow co but and Erica jumped right on the issue to resolve. She was very patient and kind. Highly recommend if you want to get rid of your hunker quickly.

David Sullivan was very professional and handled contact with the towing company. Took the towing company over a week to come and get the truck, but that's okay, they were very courteous. Thank You Very Much.

I just donated another car. I love this group and working with them is easy! So happy they offer this program! Thank you HFTB for helping me to help you! 2018 2017- 2 cars donated - I was referred to this organization when calling companies that scrap old cars. I was very happy to find them. Crystal was very pleasant and the process was fast and easy. Larry from the tow company was super nice. And Mattie, from the office also called to confirm I had all the docs. Their system was email automated and getting rid of both of my cars couldn't have been any easier. I got a donation write-off and a couple of great perks. I feel really good about the entire process. It was very simple to setup the pick up for the car. Everyone was very nice and helpful. The towing company was on time and courteous, I did everything by phone and text. Glad I was able to help!

I donated my car today that has been sitting for a couple years. I have a great feeling of satisfaction that I was able to do something charitable. This organization is very organized to say the least. They make it very easy to understand all the steps and their process. Very helpful and friendly as well.

The process went very smoothly. The towing company called me right away and picked up car the next day. The driver had all of the appropriate paperwork and explained the process. The representative at the Heritage For The Blind was patient and knowledgeable. I wish everything in life was this easy.

Easy transaction, towing company showed up when they're supposed to. Bad news: DOZENS of emails and texts asking to confirm that my car has been picked up, and for me to return paperwork, despite the fact that I confirmed the pick up and sent the paperwork same day car was picked up and numerous times since. 5 weeks later, emails and textx still coming. Wish I had called someone else.
