Of all the things 461 Dean has to offer, its staff is one of its greatest amenities. Omar and Amy in the Leasing office are extremely helpful and resourceful. I feel I can count on them to try to solution any communicated problems. They are quick to escalate concerns to Danny, the Resident Manager who responds well to feedback, and does his best to remedy situations swiftly, centering the resident experience in his actions. Lastly, the Front Desk and Maintenance team are very friendly and efficient and help make this building feel like a home. I am hopeful my positive experiences continue going forward.

Stayed at 461 Dean for a little over a year, and had the most wonderful experience. Would particularly like to give a shout out to Omar who is one of the most patient, professional and caring leasing agents I have ever worked with. The staff at the building are also absolutely fantastic! Had to leave due to work, but I miss this place

I moved here as my very first apartment living in the US, the leasing process was very smooth, Omar is an amazing person, he made the whole process so smooth and seamless for a first time renter in the US. Once I moved in, my time and experience here was really easy, all the staff amazing with smile on their faces, the view outstanding. I had no single regret. I completely recommend.

We absolutely loved living in this apartment. The neighborhood is fantastic, and the staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming. One of the best features is the size of the bedrooms — they are huge by New York standards, with amazing closet space that we didn’t see anywhere else. It truly made a difference in feeling comfortable and at home.

I'll skip the talk about the building itself [exceptional and unique], the neighborhood [hard not to love it] and the train accessibility [everything gets you here] ...since those things speak for themselves and can be seen on any website. My review is an inside perspective as a three-year resident, and the highlight goes to ALL of the staff that run and works in the building. - People at the front desk are so friendly and nice. It is hard to believe that they ALWAYS greet you with a smile and a "welcome back home" feeling. - Packages staff is top notch, never ever had a single issue with any package. - Huge shoutout to management. The people who work at the leasing office make an incredible team: they listen, they work with you and they find solutions. I've been lucky to initially start the lease with Omar Bran who always goes above and beyond with any inquiry, follows up immediately and he is an absolute pleasure to talk to. Later, I met Amy Benitez and Matt Meyers. The three of them make a phenomenal team, they truly care for their residents, and it shows every time you talk to them or have any request. Overall, the place is amazing and the staff who work here are the key to making living here such a wonderful experience. I'd totally recommend it!

Such a great building, nice gym, and amazing/friendly building crew from the front desk to the maintenance team. Shoutout specifically Josh on the maintenance team! He helped us fix a bunch of stuff in our apartment over our time there. He’s the man!

I lived in 461 Dean Street Apartments for nearly 4 years, and had nothing short of a fantastic experience as a tenant. In a highly convenient location, the building is well-maintained and clean. The entire 461 Dean team– leasing office, maintenance, and front desk staff are personable and truly go above and beyond. The leasing office is quick and communicative. Both Omar and Matt in the leasing office are amazing. When I requested to transfer to a larger unit, they made the process seamless. When it was time for me to suddenly relocate, again the 461 Dean team made what could have been a very stressful process easy. I cannot recommend this property enough!

My family has had such a wonderful experience living at 461 Dean Apartments. The unit itself is gorgeous and the neighborhood is amazing, but it's really the building staff that has made the experience so great. Omar has made the most of every moment of our journey leasing with 461 Dean. From when we first toured the building through our entire time living here, Omar really has gone above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of. That goes for everyone else in the building, too. Danny is a super friendly, accommodating manager and the front desk staff are all incredible. Miguel, Amir, Sheldon -- everyone has made every day at this building a great place to live. I'd genuinely recommend it to anyone looking for a home in Brooklyn.

I’ve been a tenant at 461 Dean Apartments for a month now, so can only speak to my experience to date with leasing, move in, and first couple of weeks, but I’m very happy to report that 461 Dean has just about exceeded expectations in all areas so far! After inspecting about a dozen apartments in the Downtown Brooklyn / Fort Greene / Prospect Heights Area, we landed on 461 Dean as the apartments have a great view, sizeable living areas, a nice quality fitout for the rent paid, and really great connectivity, while still having nice neighborhood bars and restaurants within walking distance (5th Ave, Vanderbilt, Flatbush, etc.). Throughout the leasing process Omar has been great to work with, he’s super responsive and keen to help where he can, thank you! Since moving in, we continue to be pleasantly surprised by all the positive elements of the building. The wait time for an elevator is never that long, all of the common spaces are well maintained (and smell great), and perhaps best of all, the whole team at 461 Dean have a really friendly and positive vibe, which makes a real difference as a resident. Appreciate it’s still early days, so if anything changes I’ll update this review. But for now, my sincere thanks to all the team at 461 Dean for making it a great place to live! P.S. I know this review and some of the others posted may sound a bit forced or fake, but trust me it’s real! I think in NYC it’s easy to set low expectations when it comes to the rental market, so it’s such a pleasant surprise to come across a building that delivers!

We've been living here for about 2 years and have to say, the staff is fantastic. From the front desk to maintenance to the leasing office (specifically Omar, Amy and Matt) - the team is always super friendly and professional. They're always ready to help in any way possible to make our lives even more pleasant at 461 Dean! Great central location in Brooklyn too!

***Best Apartment in Downtown Brklyn*** I couldn’t recommend 461 Dean more highly. Everything about this building is exceptional. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by a welcoming and cheerful front desk team. They go above and beyond, carefully labeling packages and even displaying package alerts on an LCD screen. If you have pets, they’ll be loved here—no dog walks past the front desk without being petted or given a treat. The apartments themselves are well-maintained with ample storage. Any time I had an issue—whether it was with appliances, electrical, or plumbing—maintenance requests were always handled within 24 hours. The common areas are always spotlessly clean. The leasing office is equally impressive: warm, friendly, and genuinely accommodating. It’s clear that everyone in this building is dedicated to ensuring a great living experience. The rooftop offers stunning views of Brooklyn, and I’ve enjoyed many beautiful sunsets there. The location is also fantastic, surrounded by great restaurants, coffee shops, and gyms. Both the move-in and move-out processes were seamless, professional, and convenient. Don’t hesitate!

While searching for a rental apartment in NYC, I came across 461 Dean Street in Brooklyn. I reached out to the leasing office and had the pleasure of working with Omar. The building at 461 Dean Street is exceptional with excellent amenities. Its prime location in Brooklyn offers convenient access to transportation, dining, and entertainment. And did I mention the incredible views from the apartments? In addition to the outstanding facilities, the staff at 461 Dean Street are incredibly friendly and professional. I went there three times, and everyone I interacted with was helpful and made me feel welcome. The overall atmosphere of the building is inviting and well-maintained, making it a highly desirable place to live. Although my plans changed and I did not end up renting through Omar, I am grateful for his assistance. His professionalism contributed to a smooth and enjoyable experience. I recently moved out after living here for over 2 years. The building staff is really great, they are always very accommodating and helpful. Porters, maintenance, leasing office, they are all just great at what they do. Omar at leasing has been particularly helpful at every turn. The units are well equipped and everything just works. TBH, the only downside to this place is how noisy Flatbush Av is.

Amy thank you for all that you do for me, you been a blessing to me from day one when I met you three year ago. I was having a problem you said Ms Bryant I'll handle it and you did I was looking for another place I couldn't take it anymore, you were my angel. Than on top of that I have another issue with my papaerwork it was new to me and new to you, but you didn't push me to the size you was determine to get to the bottom of it, and you did and for that I was grateful. You have a good Heart and patience and a beautiful personality I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate your kindness and all that you have done for me, job well done Amy keep doing what you doing God will blessed you for your good work. 461 Dean Street is a wonderful place to live. You will have your initial wonderful interaction with the Leasing office staff. They are knowledgeable and courteous. This is the cleanest and most well kept building in the area. The maintenance crew is fabulous!! All service requests are handled promptly and effectively. The amenities are great. The roof deck is beautiful and the gym is well equipped. I love it here.

I had a great experience touring and applying to 461 Dean. Although I was approved for an apartment, I had to place my move to NYC on hold while my house goes on the market. Omar, the leasing professional, was super helpful, always responsive, and very professional. As for 461 Dean, the 2-bedroom unit I toured was spacious, had a great layout, and phenomenal view of BK and Manhattan. The building is in a great location, close to many subway lines, shopping, Prospect Park, and 5th ave in Park slope. I'm hoping the unit or same layout that I applied for is still available when I am ready to make the move this year.

It’s been an absolute pleasure living in 461 Dean. The building itself is perfectly situated between Park Slope, Prospect Heights and Downtown Brooklyn and has all the subway connections at its doorstep. More than that, the building feels like a community in no small part because of the management. From before we even moved in a year ago, they have been responsive and always helpful. Every request was tended to immediately. The building is always impeccably clean, and the staff all the way from management to the front desk to the support staff are always polite and attentive - it always feels good to come home! You would be hard pressed to find a building such as this anywhere in the world let alone in New York! A special shoutout to Omar Bran in the leasing office, who always goes above and beyond the call of duty to ensure any concern you might have is fully addressed, and always with a smile. If you’re considering 461 Dean, just do it!

My family’s experience in applying to this building has been so positive! The leasing professional we dealt with was Omar Bran and he has done everything in his power to make things as seamless as possible. He’s answered all of our questions with patience and has communicated every step of the way. It’s been a stark and welcome change from the other buildings we’ve applied to. Additionally, the building is well kept and close to several stores & train stations! And the rooftop deck is amazing.

My experience at 461 Dean was absolutely special. The management and staff at this building truly make it unique and a positive experience for all residents. The amenities are great and the rooftop views are perfect. Also, the location is super accessible to everyone given it's near a few subways stations. All in all, I would highly recommend folks to live here.

A fine high rise with one major disadvantage. Don’t live here unless you enjoy fighting your way through the crowds of Barclays 4 nights per week. Because the CLEAR entrance is right next to the building entrance, you will always know exactly what event is going on. This is not an issue in the surrounding developments - unfortunately, it’s an entryway issue.

I lived here for a whole year and enjoyed the entire experience. I don't like the city and being in 461 made it bearable. The leasing, maintenance, and janitorial staff are always so helpful and the gym and other amenities were great. The only reason I moved away was because the cost for a studio became too much to afford. It's super close to a few bodegas, a grocery store, target, and the Barclays subway hub. The neighborhood is extremely safe as flatbush is always lit up and people are around. I never heard any noise from the stadium, although I was on the other side of the building from it. I was nervous about living here but it was a great choice and if you can afford it I can't recommend it enough.

We spent >1 month looking for a home. We dealt with Matt at the 461 Dean Leasing Office, and he was overwhelmingly one of the most accommodating, responsive, and helpful agents we worked with across our New York search. We couldn't recommend working with Matt enough!

Lived here for a year, but had to move out due to costs. Amazing views with great amenities. Building staff was nice. Be aware it was very easy to get locked out of your apartment and it cost some money for them to come unlock you space. Location is unbeatable since you are next to almost all Brooklyn lines via Atlantic terminal. Great amenities too that were kept nicely. Units are basically soundproof. Barely heard my neighbors even if they were playing music or hosting a party. Could only hear in the hallways and once you went inside your apartment, it was dead quiet.

We moved to this building a few days ago and the staff was wonderful and accommodating. Radames Ponce went above and beyond to help us get our furniture into the unit. We are grateful to him for making a stressful situation so much easier! It was a nice welcome to the new home.

My wife and I cannot say enough nice things about this apartment building. We lived here since it opened and have had only positive experiences. We looked at several apartments before moving in and 461 Dean offered the best unit size, amenities and location for the price. What’s more, the staff and management could not be nicer. Even though there has been some turnover over the years (as is always the case in any building), the new members are just as nice and helpful as the previous members. Lastly, the building is very well-maintained and we never had any issues during the four years we lived there.

I’ve lived at 461 Dean for three years and I love it!! It’s always clean, even the garbage shoot is spotless. Everyone is very friendly and authentic. Any time I’ve had a maintenance issue it’s been fixed right away. I have had maybe 3 issues in three years. They take care of the building and during covid they follow protocol, which I appreciate. Also, the people who live in the building are friendly. I’ve made many friends and they are very pet friendly which I love. Oh, and it’s quiet too. My apartment is very quiet. I work from home so that’s a big plus. Once in awhile I hear a faint noise, it’s so faint I cannot even tell where it’s coming from. Definitely recommend the building!

5 out of 5! If I could give them a 10 I would! The friendliest staff around! They feel more like family at this point!! The building is very clean and well kept! The neighborhood is great and you are one stop from the city! I wasn’t sure when I moved here because some of the previous reviews but it was the best decsion I ever made! If you are looking to move, you should come check it out! Love ❤️
