Recently toured with Jillyan, and she was very informative about the area and all the amenities included in the property. She even knew about the small shops and places within walking distance. While the building is a bit small for my taste, the cleanliness was top-notch. Her friendly approach made me feel comfortable in a new area.

The maintenance team is absolutely amazing in this building! Their priority is always the tenants and taking care of any maintenance requests quickly. Especially ray he does such a great job and super friendly!

Ray is the best maintenance guy around! Always helpful and cheery, and very knowledgeable about the building and apartments. He is a highlight of 470 Manhattan!

Ray was awesome! He was very fast and efficient with helping us with our work order. I am very glad he is one of the people on staff here. Always a smile on his face when we see him.

I have lived in this building for almost 2 years and as a born and raised New Yorker, I will say, I never thought buildings where the staff are this lovely and helpful existed in NYC. 470 Manhattan ave is a full service building with a very kind and caring maintenance team (shout out Ray, Scarlene, and leasing office agent/so much more, Jillyan!) Ray, Scarlene, and Jillyan go above and beyond to make sure that this building is a safe, clean, and wonderful place to live. Jillyan in the leasing office is amazing and always ready to answer any questions I have. Ray and Scarlene are a pleasure to work with, and it is so clear that they care about ensuring that the residents of 470 Manhattan are happy living here. I have never struggled to get a hold of anyone or had any issues with work orders. They are completed in a timely and friendly manner. I am beyond impressed and very grateful for each of them. Without them, the experience of living at 470 Manhattan simply wouldn't be the same. I would highly recommend this building to anyone looking for a one of a kind living experience in New York City.

I have lived here for 2 years now and can’t express my gratitude enough to the team in this building. Not only has Jillyan been amazing and always on top of the ball with inquiries or event planning but the maintenance team here is unreal. Rey, Starlin and the other gentleman I haven’t had a pleasure to formally meet are always so nice and welcoming and really make sure the apartments and building exceed standards. Thank you so much for creating such a great environment to live in!

I can say enough about the people who maintain this residence. Rey, Starlin and Jillian make this building amazing. Every day I’m greeted with a smile when I see the employees here. They arnot only kind and friendly, but dedicated as well. It is always spotless. Whether it’s the gym, the halls, the business center, the rooftop or the lounge, cleanliness has never been an issue in my 2 years living here. I have recommended apartments here too multiple friends and I will continue to do so because of the amazing work done by the people who make us feel safe and looked after.

Taisha's events are amazing! She always makes sure the kids are having a blast and has enough for the adults to keep entertained as well. From the great events she sets up to the great vibe she gives to the atmosphere in the room, she's a phenomenal coordinator!

I’m relatively new to the building but so far I’ve no complaints. It’s really clean, kept toasty warm in the winter and super quiet! Jillyan, Scarlin and their team have been so welcoming. I’m very happy with my decision to move here.

My brother is a resident here so I visit often. Shout out to Jillyan and Scarlin for always stopping to say hello. It’s such a pleasant experience. The views from the roof are beautiful. The park across the street is an amenity in itself. The building is so clean. My brother loves it here.

Came by for a tour on Saturday afternoon. Jillyan was great. She showed us around the building and answered all our questions. Everything was so clean. We’ve seen a few places in Greenpoint but this is definitely the best in the neighborhood.

Came in as a walk-in on Saturday around 4:30pm. Jillian from the leasing office was so wonderful. Every resident we passed made sure to stop and say hello to Jillian and she was so genuine with each interaction. The building is beautiful, extremely clean, amenities are top tier. The fitness center sold me. I’m really hoping something opens up in December so I can make 470 my home.

My partner and I visited while taking a quick trip to NYC. While we were enamored by the city we absolutely fell in love with the building we’re planning to move from Chicago and Jilly showed us around the building. She was amazing and so so helpful. We had terrible service at our last building in Chicago and are so excited to hopefully be working with Jilly in the future! Can’t wait to come back and take another look around and hopefully make the big move!

This building gets a 10/10 from us. Jillyan’s tour was incredible. You can tell she loves her job. Hoping something opens up in December when we’re looking to move in. If you’re looking for a new home definitely look into 470.

Been living here for 3 months now. It has been really great so far. The amenities are awesome, always kept clean and tidy. Fellow tenants are super friendly and respectful. The maintenance team (Boris, Mike, and Martin) are all helpful, quick, and friendly. Especially Mr Mike!!! Hallways are always spotless too. It seems like they organize the mail room too- because it never gets too crazy in there. Best building ever - and SUCH a great location near the parks. NEW* lifestyle staff (Jillyan) organized a really fun pumpkin carving event. The lounge was nicely decorated for Halloween, snacks, candy and drinks were provided. Along with pumpkins and supplies for carving. Carving stations were socially distanced. Jillyan was extremely professional and friendly with walking around offering help to anyone who needed it. Thanks for a great event! NEW* lifestyle staff (Jillyan) Put together an awesome Valentine’s Day grab and go! It was a beautiful and uplifting presentation with lots of tasty treats - including for pets! Really enjoyed this festive table in the lobby. Thanks! NEW* David the maintenance technician came to fix my door frame and he provided prompt, friendly and professional service. He also followed up on his own initiative a day later to ask if I needed paint etc. The other team members also helped me with a clog in the bathtub. They were professional, quick, and very mindful of noise knowing that I was working from home. Thanks! NEW* Ray. P from maintenance came to work on the bathtub drain clog on 6/30/22. He responded to the maintenance request very quickly, worked very fast, was professional and polite- thanks Ray!

I can’t say enough about how helpful Jillyan has been during the move in process. She went out of her way to assist us in the move and make us feel at home at 470. She’s such an asset and the building and entire staff are fantastic!

Great location, amenities, and service. The building is quiet and kept in great condition. My interactions with both the super (Martin) & maintenance (David) have always been pleasant. Been here for a year w/o any complaints!

I had the pleasure of living here in a studio for a year and it truly felt like a home away from home during the pandemic. The building is well designed and incredibly well kept. It's also in such a ideal location being across from the park. Big shoutout to the maintenance + lifestyle/leasing staff (Martin, Mike & Boris and Jillyan) for being so friendly and helpful at all times. Genuinely loved my time living here!

Martin - the super, if you are reading this review, just wanted to tell you that you are amazing! The building was the best HOME I had for the past 8year in nyc. always clean, respectful and kind staffs, not to mention the pool table in the lounge area, had save my life during pandemic. You will most likely to meet the your kind of ppl living in the same building too!

I've been living here for almost a year at 470 Manhattan. I love the building and the amentias. The apartments are light and airy and awesome neighbors. Great management! The super who is Martin and his employee's Mike and Boris go above and beyond for the tenants. They are super helpful, friendly, informative and fix things quickly. I look forward to living here for the years to come.

I've lived here about two months and so far so good! The building is really clean, quiet, and has awesome amenities that my friends are envious of lol. I love that the trash rooms are convenient, make recycling easy, but mainly that they are kept so clean with items removed promptly and on a regularly scheduled basis. You have the luxury of the proximity to the park, bustling neighborhoods with restaurants and bars, but also the quieter neighborhood feel with this building being slightly off the beaten path. Stefan was so patient & helpful with my questions and maintenance also friendly, prompt, and courteous. My pet and I feel very at home here!

Lived here for a couple months so far and feel like I can write a proper review. The living experience at 470 Manhattan is unparallel to the other buildings that I have lived in. The amenities and common areas are always clean and the view from the rooftop is amazing. The building is usually quiet and the maintenance guys (Martin, Mike and Boris) are always welcoming and quick to respond to any issues and concerns that I have. If you have a car, the street parking is pretty decent and there’s also a garage in the building. All in all, an excellent building I’d recommend to anyone looking.

Lived here for a month and I love it so far! Excellent amenities and great location. I had a few minor issues when moving in, but Mike the super is a delight to deal with. He responds asap and usually fix the issues on the same day! I really appreciate the staff her at 470 Manhattan and enjoy living here! :)

So far this building is great. Dealing with the staff has been a pleasure. It’s quiet, most People in the building are young professionals. The best part is the location. I was dead set on moving to red hook but the deal here was hard to refuse. I’m so glad I made this decision. It’s on a quiet block and in perfect proximity to McCarren park, and the busier parts of Williamsburg and Greenpoint. Stefan was the agent here I dealt with and he was very professional. I’d suggest going through him if you’re thinking about moving here. Someday I’ll move to redhook but for now I’m really enjoying 470 Manhattan.
