This is one of the best bank branches I have been to. The people there are so nice and accessible. A big thank you to Andre for being the most patient person dealing with my requests!
Extremely disappointing. I was a customer in 2014, and recently moved back to the U.S, expecting a smooth transition. Despite having all my information on file, I had to visit the branch more than 3 times, only to receive conflicting instructions from the back office each visit regarding how to verify my information.
Ultimately, even after providing and verifying all the required legal documentation, my account was opened and then closed because the bank ultimately “couldn’t verify my information”.
The only positive aspect of this experience was the branch manager, Courtney, who tried to assist me throughout the ordeal, despite the challenges caused by the banks processes and incomplete instructions. 5 stars for Courtney.

I recently started using Wells Fargo for a checking account, and honestly, it has been nothing but a headache. One day I suddenly see an overdraft fee because they decided to approve a transaction even though I didn’t have the funds — on a debit card. I called immediately and told them to turn OFF any overdraft. I made it very clear: if there’s no money, decline the transaction. They confirmed it was fixed.
Well, guess what? It’s STILL happening. Over and over. My account keeps going into overdraft and I keep getting slapped with $35 fees for something I explicitly told them NOT to allow. This is either incompetence or a straight-up scam. I’m beyond frustrated.
This branch has nice people, but they are not knowledgeable about the services. They made me miss a closing. They couldn’t get me a certified check.
DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU NEED TIMELY OR SENSITIVE SERVICE.
My husband and I would like to thank Garcelle for resolving an issue we were having. We visited another branch earlier in the day and was told, what we needed done could not be done. Garcelle not only completed our transaction, she stayed after closing to ensure everything was completed. Wonderful customer service. We were truly thinking of canceling the account with the runaround we were receiving. We will only do business at the Flushing branch from now on. Thank you Garcelle for being a true professional.
They give you partial information. They don’t know how to say ‘I don’t know let me find out’. When you ask for clarification, the manager Courtney gets overwhelmed, starts yelling and hangs up the phone on you after they are the ones who misled you in the first place. What a joke of a bank and branch!
For the sake of transparency rather than random controversy, I am not a great fan of Wells Fargo. Low interest rates and steep markups when it comes to foreign currency conversion fees compared to exchange holding companies. That said, the quality of their in-person customer service may balance out discrepancies. Courtney at the Navy Yard branch could not have been more courteous, dignified, sincere, professional and warm. He is one of those old school gentlemen with an elegant modern touch. Although I was dressed like a bum, he treated me with the utmost respect and affection. A wonderful conversationalist who is never indiscreet in his manner, he sets the inclusive tone that has no ulterior motive. Joel then took care of my seemingly miniscule matter than was very important to me. I was never judged nor hustled. I was impressed and expectations were exceeded.
I would like to express my gratitude to Vitaliy from Wealth Cargo Bank. He was very attentive and professional, explained everything clearly, and helped me resolve my issue quickly. It is clear that Vitaliy truly cares about clients and strives to make the service as convenient as possible. An excellent specialist!
The service here is exceptional and proves what real banking should look like. The Broadway and Dey Street branch, on the other hand, is a complete failure staff there refuse to deposit checks, deny customers access to their own money, and run from problems instead of solving them. That branch is incompetent and unprofessional, while this location took the challenge, owned it, and resolved it without hesitation. The difference is so stark it’s shameful for Broadway and Dey branch.

this complaint goes directly to the manager of the bank, she was so nasty and disrespectful and unprofessional. my brother asked her went for a intern statement for this month to buy a house and she REFUSED to give it to him. Mind you its HIS ACCOUNT. she doesnt know how to do her job and should have never been in the position of manager. im so disapointed because now the house closing date will have to be pushed back because theres no other bank in our area. I dont get it because before he got the last statement from that bank without a problem. that just shows its the manager
I was helped by the bank manager and Giselle… I had a situation at my store and they came in so clutch. The bank is beautiful and local. No more traveling to Manhattan
The branch manager, Courtney, is amazing! I went in for an issue that ended up being an hour-long headache (that Courtney had no control over) and he personally helped me the whole way through. On top of that, because the process was more complicated than it needed to be, Courtney assured me that he is going to be filing a complaint regarding the process and advocating for me to be refunded for some fees that I was charged with during said process. It's really inconvenient that there's only one Wells Fargo in Brooklyn right now but this one branch is exceptional.
Vitaliy provided exceptional service at Wells Fargo. He was professional, courteous, and highly knowledgeable. I especially appreciated that he speaks Russian, which made communication even easier. His friendly approach and attention to detail made my banking experience seamless. Highly recommend!
Thank you Michael for flawless experience of opening a checking account. The office is new and cozy. Make sure you come with appointment (pretty much availability for the next day) and you won’t be disappointed
