We had a fantastic experience with Bedford Galleries! We bought seven beautiful antique pieces, and each one was delivered with such care — they even polished everything before bringing it over. The furniture is absolutely stunning and very reasonably priced. Everyone we dealt with was so kind and professional. Couldn’t be happier and can’t wait to shop there again!
I was sold a dresser that at some point had mothballs in it. In store, and upon initial delivery, the scent had been masked with orange wood cleaner. Once it sat in my home for a few days, the mothball fumes became more prominent. We have tried everything we can to deal with it - resealing with shellac, baking soda, etc., to no avail. It feels like we were mislead by the use of heavily scented cleaners to mask the smell, and now we are having to pay a hefty price to get this piece out of our home. Disappointing experience. I feel that such information about a piece should be disclosed to a customer or not sold at all.
Wonderful retro furniture collections at reasonable prices. We found a beautiful leather-top antique desk, and the staff fixed up all the little scuffs & loaded it into our truck for us! What a pleasure to work with them.
Beautiful pieces that are very fairly priced. Went there for a desk, the one I wanted had been sold, so they found a similar one in their warehouse for me. It’s my new favorite thing in my home. Definitely my first stop for all furniture purchases!
I'm a clown collector, was having a bad day and figured I'd take my chances with this shop. There was a clown head sticking right out of a box at me lol

You can find great gems here and it’s not too overwhelming to hunt through the store. Often have deals going on as well. Bought an amazing Lane coffee table here for a super reasonable price!

This place is fantastic. We were in town visiting and stumbled upon it after getting coffee. There were such gorgeous, unique, and well-priced pieces we ended up purchasing, hiring a third party shipping service, and getting a massive buffet table, 2 nightstands, cocktail table, and lamp to enjoy all the way back home in Illinois. It was SO worth it. Marcelo and his team were so sweet, efficient, and easy to work with. Right after I purchased, they immediately wrapped up all the items with cloth first then plastic wrap. He said no problem that they can store our items for free until we figured out how we would ship it back. They then ended up making sure to help load everything onto the moving truck once the person who was driving the items to us came to pick up. I wish I lived here- I would be here all the time to see what new finds they have and support their fantastic business. Next time we visit, we will be definitely returning. Thank you!
We adore the dresser we got from Bedford Galleries!! They did an amazing job with the finishes and were so flexible about delivery. It’s clear that everyone working there takes pride in the furniture and I highly recommend purchasing from them!
Very high quality pieces and very reasonably priced. I bought several items, including a dresser that was heavily discounted because it had some damage. I was told they would do some repairs before it was delivered. I didn't expect much since the dresser was so cheap and I was amazed when it was delivered-- it looked practically new. They were extremely quick and accommodating with delivery. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for high quality traditional or mid-century modern furniture and decor.
Nice stuff, very disorganized and kind of overpriced, but if you've got the money (and the space) and the time to look through this place, there's some beautiful pieces
I really love this store but had a pretty poor experience with a hold recently. I placed two chairs on hold, with my name and phone number, because I was told they were going to repair them then put them out. I found them ahead of the repair so they told me they would call in one week when it was done for me to come get them. I waited 2.5 weeks and there was no call. I called back and they sold them to someone WITHOUT telling me even though I had them on hold. I understand they need to make sales but I would have expected a call to check if I could get them before they sold. If that was the process, I also was not made aware of that when I placed the hold. Their response did not explain why it happened, just that they were sorry. Pretty disappointed as I love this shop and now feel unsure to shop there again. I would suggest being explicit when placing holds.
The best place in Brooklyn for furniture by far. I furnished almost my whole apartment from this place, and now that I’m moving out of state I don’t know what I’m gonna do without them. Awesome selection, great prices, kind staff.
I didn't want to pay for a new TV stand that I knew would not be solid wood and fall apart easily.I decided to go to this second hand store to find the "good stuff" On my first trip there I found exactly what I was looking for. Customer service from the men that restore the furniture as well as the floor rep was great! Delivery was on time I refinished the piece I bought to blue but even it its original color this was abjaw dropper.

Love this place, I’ve gotten very unique pieces for much lower prices than I can find anywhere else. I think they restock over the weekend, make sure you go early in the day since the best items sell out by the end of the day.
This place is an absolute gem. The team takes great care restoring and fixing up every piece they get, the prices are excellent, and the owner is friendly and helpful. Oh, and they deliver (for cheap).
Bedford Galleries always has a beautiful selection of furniture. The staff is kind and helpful. I love this store, I’ve gotten some great mid century modern pieces here that I’ll keep for a lifetime! Highly recommend.
A good 70% of the mid-century modern furniture in my apartment is from Bedford Galleries. This team is simply the best—from answering queries on Instagram to handling deliveries perfectly, I have always been impressed and grateful for their excellent attitude (and their incredible finds). Very reasonable and fair prices, too, which can't be said for many vintage furniture stores around the city. The stock is always changing so follow them on social to make sure you see their sidewalk sales. You'll be richly rewarded. Many thanks to everyone at BG—a standup shop, and great people. Very good variety and friendly staff will to help and engage without making you feel alienated or out of place.
Love this place! Ive furnished my whole house from here over the past five years. Hands down my favorite antique store in Brooklyn. Not to mention, the owner Luis and his family are so kind and wonderful.
