Building 77 has a variety of food outlets, many with lunch specials. Access the NYC Ferry Navy Yard stop through this building lobby. Check at the security desk for admission.
The navy yard doesn’t allow the public to access MTA bus stops in the navy yard. I was stopped by multiple guards when I was just trying to catch the b67 bus. “These stops aren’t for you,” they said. But it is the public that funds buses. The navy yard is privatizing and restricting access to public transit. And that is BS.
Fantastic co-working/Fablab place. From an old industrial warehouse used to build WW ships and submarines, it keeps the industrial vibe with a modern spin !
Went to go check out what was all the hype as a huge fan of The Stranger Things and paid for the VIP Experience (Drink and gift bag) and you just had ta see it to believe it! It was pretty cool and pretty darn close to the actual T.V. series. They really did a good job mimicking the scenario. I went alone and still had an amazing time. I know they travel, but if your in whatever city they're in, you should check it out. An adventure full of fun for the entire family! Just do VIP for the adults(if you want to a cocktail ;) you will all still be together!

Excellent Stuido Space But the Bathrooms don't get proper attention ESPECIALLY DURING A PANDEMIC.
Pictures are on a Monday at 6 and 9 am. Clearly not cleaned since sometime the previous Friday.
TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE and DISGUSTING ......PERIOD !
I had a shoot in building 77... First time actually going into any of the buildings. PARKING so I got a parking pass as part of my access... Now it did say "access to lot doesn't guarantee spot" and I was showing up at 330pm. Man I parked in what I'm not sure was an actual spot but there were a few cars there. That lot is tight and full. Have a back up plan for parking just in case if you're visiting for a meeting or whatever.
Met with my son to check out the Russ and Daughter's in the Brooklyn Navy Yard. And, while we were not overly impressed with the portions of food at the Brooklyn location, as compared to the LES location the Navy Yard is a lovely location and the buildings staff were friendly, professional and east to engage with. So much that we booked a sail on the NYC Ferry.
The staff at Russ and Daughter's can benefit from a course or two on customer service and to not be stingy with the food portions. As a proud and native 3rd generation New Yorker, Bagels, cream cheese, lox and the like are in my blood. Add to that my familiarity with staple places like, H&H Bagels, Murray,s Bagels, Bergen Bagels, and the original Russ and Daughter's in the LES. So imagine our surprise and disappointment for the weak portions of cream cheese, smoked salmon atop our Bagels.
The Celery can of soda was nicely chilled, but the Baklava was dry.
Hopefully, a representative will read this review in the vein of open critique and make improvements. They have a New York reputation. Something that we are proud of. Hence, the love of this message.

PS - The New York Ferry was a sweet treat and we enjoyed the sail along the inlet along the Atlantic Ocean.
They could do a lot more with this space. Develop it for more access. But the philosophy here is to keep it more a manufacturing hub. That’s great for local businesses but there isn’t much access to the wonderful waterfront in this area and it should be developed for local people to enjoy a rare commodity. Don’t agree with the overly strict philosophy and the monopoly they have on this wonderful asset.
The person that gave me the costume was very courteous, the store manager putting their friends in front of the line, not good. I know it's let the buyer beware, but working in customer service, I noted that the cashier did not tell me it was not necessary to purchase a headdress because there was one already included with the costume. I would have asked the customer if they knew, which I didn't realize until I got home. She barely looked at me.
One of the best places for vistas of NYC and the Navy Yard itself is an incredible place to visit. There's the Ferry who will leave right there from Manhattan.
What a great date night! Our instructor was amazing, very friendly and extremely patient. The location is a bit of a pain, I was supposed to be email a security badge bit it never came. So that caused a little hiccup but resolved.
This place has a complex of various shops and offices. Some areas are museums, other areas have a mini food court. It is very interesting to walk around this area and experience the old school architecture with a modern twist. There are some locations with a bar as well. I wish they can add more shops and other commercial businesses.
So much to see...inside variety of food places to eat. Staff is friendly and helpful and handicap accessible...I ride a scooter and the doors are wide and staff and public very helpful to me. They offer a tour on weekends...I haven't taken advantage of this yet and the B69 goes there and stops at Wegmans. I like it.
We celebrated John and Nora’s wedding in this special rooftop farm venue. With sunflowers, kale, baby eggplant growing around, we stood between the rows on burlap, the bride and groom under an archway of greenery with the New York skyline in view,..... just enchanting. We had farm fresh dinner under a covered area followed by a great DJ with lots of good dancing. There is plenty of room for a dessert table and open bar. The staff is very efficient and conscientious. You do need to walk down a flight of stairs to the restrooms. This is a very special venue. Like this post if it is helpful to you.
The place as a whole invites curiosity. It feels very industrial, with a mix of crumbling and rehabilitated buildings all competing for attention. It was only when I visited the Building 92 Museum in the area that I fully appreciated the place and its long and colorful history - from its humble colonial beginnings, its Industrial-era importance as a shipyard, the years of decline and decay after the shipyard closed, and the process of re-development to attract new businesses, which continues to this day.
If you're looking to explore the place, I definitely recommend stopping by the museum first. The museum does not charge admission fees.
