This is a pretty basic Key Food grocery store, though it’s well stocked and always very organized. One thing that stands out here is that the people who work at the registers are generally really nice and helpful. Caitlin in particular (not sure if I’m spelling that correctly). I can be a grumpy New Yorker too, but having friendly people greet you at the end of otherwise mundane task really means the world sometimes.

Got towed despite going to Key Foods several times a week. I literally spend 100s of dollars at multiple key food locations. I guess that is the last time they get business from me.

This key food is not like most key foods I have been to and they never have the items I need in stock. Also the prices are expensive.

Actually, only been there once, but the place is cluttered, and on the dirty side, and I went to a register with a light that was on. But nobody was there. So I had to go to a different one. I guess they decided to take their break but they should have shut off their light. I'm not happy with it will not go back.

As Charon escorted the dead across the river Styx, so can you cross McGuiness once in a while. Key Food is a superior supermarket to C-Town—not only is their non-walled-off pharmacy section a boost, but also their seemingly endless manager special on select beers. It is a larger space, so of course their selection is more vast. However, that spaciousness more generally feels better to be in, at least as a casual grocery seeker. One note is that their produce is neither more fresh, nor as comprehensive as Market on Kent's. But you will certainly save a gold coin (which you may give to Charon) in shopping here instead. Due to its square footage, you may, like Orpheus, lose your love in this anti-Hades. But unlike him, there will be no trials and tribulations in bringing them back across the concrete river.

Don’t go there! They tow their customer’s cars! You need to find balance in your parking rules Key food ! I get that you want the privacy of your parking lot respected and dedicated to your customers. Towing people’s cars who don’t don’t go shop in your store and just look for a free parking spot is fair. But what you are doing is also targeting the actual customers of your store !! Anyway, we were shopping in your store almost everyday for the past 7 years. But with this ridiculous and wild event that happened to us, we will never come back and will go somewhere else where customers ARE ACTUALLY RESPECTED! You caused a lot of unecessary stress to me and my family with this unfair towing and we will not forgive you. With these kind of rules, I guess there will be more available parking spots on your parking lot but also less customers if you treat honest people that way.

Prices and quality better at Whole Foods or Trader Joe’s and they both have parking lots.

Been shopping at this Key Food for over 25 years and in those years you notice quickly changes. There staff of employees are great and with any large store, at times there are bumps in the road. Pushing on at 79 years old, I use my car to shop once, twice a week. A tip for you younger ones if you drive, never buy or rent a house unless it has a driveway to keep your sanity. The parking lot belongs to Key Food and the small businesses within the lot. Since Price Congestion took into effect, do believe people are using this lot then using the subway or bus to venture into the city. There has been a dramatic change to this lot and my shopping habit. In short NO PLACE TO PARK. Shopping at Key Food Supermarket is great five star and more, but parking now has become a long term parking lot. And like the new tariffs imposed on all of us shoppers we are the losers and within a short time businesses as well.

I haven’t done a lot of shopping here but they are the only local grocer that is open after 8:30. They close at 10 so they are the only place that is close to the G train and open late that I have found. This is a BIG DEAL. When you get back in the neighborhood after 8:30 they are the one place you can go for groceries at a reasonable price. Also, it didn’t show up when I zoomed in on Google maps. I hope this changes that. Also, the circular comes out on Fridays.

Recently renovated, great selection for the size of this supermarket, and super easy parking. Nothing high end, but a way better experience than a typical, competing outdated local supermarket would offer. Deli area is a standout

Nov. 2024 Edit: I have been having somewhat better experiences with the cashiers over the past couple of months. Maybe someone in management has been paying attention to these reviews. A simple smile and help bagging just a few things goes a very long way. Thanks. Original Review: Their overall quality has dropped quite a lot in the past few years. Their produce selection and freshness has nosedived, but prices have risen. There are a few older cashiers that are still friendly, attentive, and who help customers bag their groceries, but there are a lot of younger cashiers that goof off, give attitude, & stare at their phones while customers pack everything themselves. I guess some of the old management has moved on. It's very disappointing.

Ole fruits. Very expensive. 1/4 watermelon is $7-$9 . That is obscure. Prices will not go down even is we reach non inflationary status. Not my store anymore.

Why does this Key Food give paper bags with no handles??? Have you ever tried carrying a HANDLE-LESS brown bag more than, like, 3 feet? It is torture. Basically impossible. This isn’t the 1920s we have great bag handle technology now but the paper bags with no handles are truly an abomination. Also, for reasons unbeknownst to me, this KF does not carry Ben and Jerry’s ice cream. Did the same person who purchased the handleless paper bags also make this executive decision? Unclear. Other than those 2 huge flaws it’s pretty chill.

I shop here because it's close to my job. This store always is a five-star experience because it's always well stocked, always has nice employees, the store is always clean, it's stocked with some local suppliers from different polish suppliers and Jewish suppliers, has a great deli and produce section. Follow up review: 5/2024 The vibe in the store has changed; it used to be warm and welcoming; now it’s corporate-cold. (Written couple of tears ago) I just like this store .. staff is great, manager Dave is a warm lovely guy who clearly takes pride in the store and excellent customer service. Prices and product are much better overall than the NYC prices I pay in my LONG Island City store over the bridge.

The staffs in their Deli section are so friendly and very helpful. I think they really want customers to enjoy their foods. They help me with the best effort whenever I have questions or requests. My favorite is Salads. Always fresh, and it’s well-mixed. You can find Tomato or any colorful ingredients even from the bottom, not only from the surface.

For being such a little grocery store it has a fair amount of items. I'd say it's a great place to grab some last minute things. No real bakery selection or deli but definitely a great place to stop and go ...and the employees were all really friendly. :)

Super nice shop, very large assortment, wide selection of vegetables and fruits. Various interesting things, including Polish specialties :) good prices and promotions. In my opinion the best store in the area therefore I recommend this place.

It’s a fine grocery store. They have most things. The special thing about this location is that they have a coin machine. If you have change to exchange into bills, it’s a great spot. They used to have the kind that won’t charge you if you got a gift card vs cash, but now they always charge 10.9%. Not ideal, but it’s still nicer than having a multi pound jar of coins :) you can see in the photo, it’s $10 charge for $100 worth of coins.

I just finished shopping for my fruits and vegetables. During my visit I encountered exceptional customer service, with employees that go above and beyond to help. Every aisle is clean and organized that I was in and checked out very promptly. Keep up the good work Key Food!

Felt relaxed and clean. Their produce can be hit or miss but it varies week to week. Prices are definitely reasonable. We can usually find most everything we need here. CHELSEA at the register was sooo nice, very friendly. We appreciated that.

Great all around super market! Looks great since the recent remodel . Has an amazing deli counter , a special (hot bread alert!!! ) daily, and a very big selection for many different kinds of shoppers. Try anything from the deli/hit foods counter if you don't feel like cooking, its amazing!

Well maintained business/supermarket. They have many varieties to choose from and different brand names to select from as well. This plaza market has been at this location for many years now. My wife told me her mom use to do her shopping here as well. Staff seems friendly and have a willingness to be helpful when asked. They have bottle return machine out front. Coin collection machine to get your cash for your change return. They also shear a large parking lot which is most helpful too. I would recommend this location for your cooking needs to anyone.

With the recent renovation to the place, they've increased the number of refrigerated display cases, and increased and separated the organic produce from the regular produce. They increased and reorganized a variety of different groceries. The store is bright and clean. They also have a great meat selection. There's also a good selection of Vegan food also. The bakery, and deli section is great. Hot foods and custom sandwiches to go are available. The sales are great. There's also plenty of parking.

Great supermarket. Lots of variety and well stocked. Good deli section and love their hot French bread! Get it hot and fresh and you won't be disappointed! Yum. And for my fellow non Americans, it's not sweet at all!

The best Deli in all the supermarkets in the area. The staff is very friendly and they literally know you by your name and by your order. Everything is always fresh and the whole store is very clean which I love. No spoiled meat and veggies here. Also the variety of products available is awesome, and they have great specials every week. My local go to place
