Ordered Kalbi BBQ for $32 +tax, delivery fees, etc. I think I expected better for $32. I don’t even mind that 80% of it is veggies but the meat did not taste fresh and was definitely not kalbi(?!) Just look at the photo. Came with a side of rice (super soggy - def too much water) and like 3 lettuce leaves (nothing wrong with this, probably actually the correct amount of leaves to beef ratio). But the ultimate reason it deserves 0 stars is the sauce.

Love this place! Got takeout and was so yummy! Was so happy to see that they use paper soup containers too bc my least favorite part about takeout is the plastic! Definitely coming back to this place.

Fresh ingredients and always made to order! They were so nice they included some extra kimbap in my order. Great soup and banchan for a rainy cold night. I love this little neighborhood market

I love the rice cakes at the Kimchee Market. It's my favorite dish.Try the pork belly burrito, it awesome.

Worst rice cakes I’ve ever had, Flavor was nonexistent it was just pure spicy sauce and the rice cakes themselves did not have flavor (I’m from Flushing, I know good rice cakes). Price was awful as well for the portion. $11 for 7-10 rice cakes. Wait time is long as well (this is less out of their control bc maybe it’s fresh, just throwing it out there)

really disappointed in quantity / portions although the food was delicious. ordered the tteokbokki (rice cakes), for $11 and the photo is exactly how it came — not even a third of the way full in a small soup container. there were like four bites of food. got that and wings for $30 total and was still hungry afterwards. like i said the food was delicious but the pricing for the portions is just ridiculous.

I had one of the top 10 meals I’ve ever had in my life here. I got the pork belly bibimpap. Great service, food and grocery options

Whenever I am craving Korean food I go to Kimchee Market in Greenpoint. My 11 year old is obsessed with their sweet, soy ginger chicken wings and I love their burritos, rice with assorted barchan and bibimbap. SO good! The staff there is always welcoming and friendly. It’s definitely my favorite spot for Korean food in Brooklyn.

Cutest shop with yummy Korean food. Got some tacos and bibimbap and were so good. Also grabbed some groceries, our fave was this Noona’s ice cream. Will be back for more!

Their kimbap is yummy but their tuna onigiri were even yummier. I am very distraught on weekly basis that they don’t serve the tuna onigiri anymore, it was quite literally the best onigiri in the whole entire world. Even the ones I had in japan couldn’t compare. I used to come every time I had 5$ just for that tuna Mayo onigiri, I would even buy multiple at a time. I have been a loyal customer since the pandemic era. When they told me at the register that they don’t serve them anymore, a part of me died. Please…..bring them back..

I think the taste of the kimchee chigae to go has changed. This might just be from this weeks batch but it tastes watered down. That said it does taste like when you buy the kimchee chigae meal. I used to buy the togo because it tasted better, saltier and bigger pieces of pork.

Good food, weird service .. each time I’ve been there no one else is there, but I end up waiting 20 mins regardless of ordering ahead. Like I said, good food but weird service.

Fantastic and help staff ❤️ Best green cabbage kimchee I’ve ever had! Always looking forward to trying the unique products I haven’t seen before… like this delicious and interesting flavored carbonated waters. A visit to your store is always an exciting wondrous experience 🙏🏽

Used to get food here frequently.. Recent orders were a disappointment in terms of quantity and quality. The Tuna Sashimi bibimbap had a small amount of thin tuna slices. Nakjj bokkeum was also not as good as before..

Been ordering for years, and before that Dokebi, but recently turned for the worse. Driver asked for a tip; I had tipped ~20% online and showed receipt. He says the restaurant probably just keeps that. I called the restaurant to ask for an explanation, and they said they'd call back and never did. (Note these days most third party drivers have told me they don't want to deliver for a cash tip, they want to know before they accept a delivery, so I tip online). On top of this I didn't realize until the next day that two of the banchan I ordered ($8 each) were missing. Fail.

Some of my favorite tacos! A great mix of veggies with you main. Some good options for vegetarians, but I like the meaty ones! I've found the staff here to be nice folks :-)

Went to kimchee market about a week and a half ago and had a great experience. The food was great, the snack selection is outstanding and ambiance was incredible as well. Beatriz checked me out and was the nicest person ever and gave great recommendations not only for kimchi market but also on what to do in the city. Would definitely go back.

Cute place, great customer service and convenient location. Now to the cons, the price vs quantity. We came in because we saw the sign for 20% off hot food if you pick up and the prices for the Dosirak (Korean lunchbox served all day) were really reasonable. For $12.99 I got kimchee/banchan, white & purple rice, pork mandoos AND kalbi?! Crazy deal. Then I got my food and it was quite a let down. At $10.39 (including the 20% off) I got 3 pieces of kalbi, a sauce container size of white rice, a sauce container size of purple rice, a sauce container of kimchi, half a sauce container of banchan and two fried pork mandoos that could probably fit in a sauce container lol At this price I know that I shouldn't have expected too much but this was pretty ridiculous. They should really call this a "snack" rather than a lunchbox. The food itself was good but I wouldn't go out of my way. You're paying for the convenience.

Yummy, fresh and delicious. The staff is really sweet too! Can’t go wrong here :) Also side note - they have amazing kombucha, incredible.

Seriously, the Rice & Banchan is a joke. my friend and I ordered together. My order of Rice & Banchan came with dishes that are less in quantity and portion comparing to the sides for my friend's BIBIMBAP. if the rice is $3 and I was paying $8 for something you can literally get it for free? And even better? won't order again.

Ordered yookyejang and the veg dumplings today for the first time and both were great. Even came with little side dishes (like, 8 of em) and everything was so well prepared + packaged = they care yay! Will be ordering again soon 👍👍

The food is absolutely delicious! We try and stop by weekly for the delicious burritos and everything we have sampled from the Japchae to the Yookgaejang has been fantastic. The staff is also lovely.

I really wanted to like this place but the BBQ Kalbi wasn’t really bbq , more like boiled meat mixed with veggies. The Korean fried chicken wings was very bland . It’s very expensive for the amount and quality of the food. The sign dishes was the best part of the meal.

Ordered delivery. Not only did it take over 2 hours, but the food was honestly HORRIBLE. ordered dumplings, burrito, some tacos and miso soup. Everything looked like it had been sitting out from the night before and tasted like it too. So freaking disappointing! Easily the worst meal I’ve had since I moved to NY years ago. Do not order from here.

While visiting my sister in Greenpoint, I passed by this cute looking storefront called Kimchee Market. I sent a photo to my family and my sister immediately responded (she was at work) that they have great kimchi fried rice. I LOVE KIMCHI FRIED RICE!!! I stopped in, ordered and grabbed a side of seaweed salad and within 15 minutes my order was ready! Perfect level of spice (spice freaks can add more if they want), delicious kimchee, bits of broccoli and red bell pepper, and lots of onion. I’m going back again for my second night in a row.

Kimchee Market is delicious and the closest to the quality and flavors that I had while living in South Korea. I come here every other week and always grab a mushroom bibimbap bowl and gimbap rolls. So good! Plus they have a bunch of different types of kimchee (including vegan), pickled everything, beansprouts plus lots more all to take home. I only wish there was someplace to sit down.
