The space was enchanting! I would definitely see another show there. Staff was engaging and friendly and there were drinks and cocktails as well! Loads of fun!
This is a fantastic theatre venue. It's such a cool old building, and the productions there are always top notch. I was there for Heartbeat Opera's Manon, which was one of the best things I've seen in years!
The Space at Irondale seemed like a vintage neighborhood performing arts theater landmark in Brooklyn. It was the perfect atmosphere for The Candlelight Concert Tribute to Drake. I love me some Drake! The musicians did a fabulous job and I quiety sang every song they played because I love me some Drake! I had a great time.
Me and my dad had an awesome time. It was a gift from me to him for both of us go together and Im still so happy we did. The performances and the writing were so engaging and very thought-provoking as me and my dad both went back-and-forth with each other during quieter moments and even afterwards walking out.
I attended a show called The Jury Experience at Irondale in brooklyn, I really enjoyed myself as did my cousin. The show was interactive, engaging and we got to vote using our phones with a QR code provided throughout the show, when the judge had a question for us to answer. The show lasted for 1 hr and 20 minutes. Our Answers were tallied quickly and the judge announced the highest percentage answers. The actors were good, believable and it was a real jury experience.
I would attend another show like this, it was fun
I attended the Nutcracker Christmas special edition of the candlelight concerts last night. It was my first time and I had a beautiful experience. I'm already planning for my next candlelight concert. One small detail I would change is to add for cadles down the aisles to enhance the candlelight experience for the audience.
This was a really chill event but also very thought provoking. I attended “The Jury” which is basically an opportunity to be a part of a jury. Crowd was cool and the show extremely engaging. I would definitely return for another case.
The Space at Irondale Theater is an excellent immersion theater making You feel like one of the cast, rather than just in the audience. Visited to attend TWICE the new play by Bubba Weiler, well, i’ll let you go. Would love to go back for more “immersion” theater!
Came to a five star ⭐️ performance of a new opera and it was great.
As a concert presenter myself, it’s a long flight of stairs up to the space and a few guests struggled. The space is dilapidated. I can’t see bringing a show here myself but glad I visited.
On closing night (6/13/25), I was able to experience an Opera like no other, San Giovanni Battista with the outstanding and moving vocal performances of Joseph Beutel, Randall Scotting, Raven McMillon, Olanna Goudeau, and Patrick Bessenbacher.
The phenomenally talented orchestra was conducted by Neal Goren (also artistic director) and the production was directed by Timothy Nelson and Ben Newman.
Small, and intimate with beautiful atmosphere and aesthetic to enjoy the symphonic sounds of Halloween themed music.
Such a wonderful idea to create an ambiance of spookiness and fun in a delightful venue.
This performance arts venue exudes charm and uniqueness. Hosting a variety of community and visiting arts organizations, it's brimming with character. The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. While the dressing rooms and audience seating may not be top-notch, it's worth noting that this historic building in downtown Brooklyn has been well-maintained, adding to its allure.
I attended a candlelight concert here and was disappointed at how rundown the place was. I guess it was supposed to add to the ambience, but it was bad. The paint was peeling. The stairs felt like they were going to crack when the group was exiting. The candle set-up itself was crappy compared to what I’ve seen at other venues. The performance was good, I’d give that 5 stars.
Candlelight concert this eve at Irondale, a stunning venue, was spectacular! The quartet was terrific, the concept brilliant. We loved it. Buy VIP tix. Worth every cent.
Loved the venue. And the candlelight event made for a fun evening. Listening to Bad Bunny being played by a quartet was fun for sure. I found the event via Fever app and would consider attending another candlelight event.
