Staples on Morgan Avenue, Brooklyn has some of the best employees I have ever dealt with at any Staples. They are knowledgeable on products and walk you through everything you need. It's a very busy store yet they manage to make customer service a priority. In this day and age that is rare. Nat and Derrell are the best in the business. I had a question on a purchased product and Nat even called me back to guide me on how to get it setup. That is customer service, that is customer care. This store sets the example for what your shopping experience should be like. Very pleased with the products and services received by this particular store.

Dropped off an Amazon return. They scanned the return QR code on my phone, or so I thought, and was told they couldn’t print me a receipt because their printer wasn’t working at the moment. The return status on my Amazon account a week later still shows return initiated, drop off at any Staples. If you have to return an Amazon there, definitely get a receipt. And if they say they can’t print it, take the item back and find another location. There is some kind of scam going on there.

This Staples store #1795 is located in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NYC. It is located in the far peripheral reach of mass transit as the nearest MTA NYC Transit is the L train Graham Avenue which is a elongate dragged-out eighteen (18) minute walk. It sits adjacent to the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway (BQE) and is very visible below when driving Interstate 278.
I needed printer cartridge ASAP and cannot wait days with the added plaguing shipping charge from ordering online. The cashier refused to search the printer cartridge number via printer brand name and model number citing it is the customer's responsibility to have knowledge of their own printer cartridge information. After a brief internet search I did locate the cartridge number and the cashier was prompt to assist including ringing the item. Through the ensuing years color printer cartridge was high when I remember it was $40.00 one decade ago and now it is exorbitant of $69.00 to align with 2025 inflation era prices. Augh!!
I was in and out quickly. I am always lured to shop in traditional brick and mortar stores, but the permanent closing of many Staples locations throughout the city is becoming increasingly difficult inaccessible due to travel means of conveyance. I am a lifelong passenger - a non-driver.

Went to Staples today to have a book, spiral bound. Great service. Jasmine assisted me and if she’s not a manger she should be! If she wants to be of course. There was a long line and she was so cool, calm, and collected. I admire that in a retail space in NYC. Every employee seemed cool though, but I had to call out Jasmine because I had a textbook and it looked like the final spiraling was a pain.

I had to give them 3 stars the bathroom are always closed off. I understand back in 2020-2021 COVID but this is just very inconvenient and unnecessary

Someone in this store tried to use my bank card. I went to return pants a few weeks ago and somehow they got my information. The staff was rude and very dismissive. Very bad for business. I will never go back except to file a police report.

I needed two posters made for an event, so I called the store to inquire about the status of my posters, and they said they would be ready for pickup the next day. I came in to pick up my purchase, but it wasn't ready, and I was told it was shipped out. This is outrageous; I didn't get a notification that my order was dispatched. I spoke with someone named Marg and Ashlee, who did not warn me at all. They were understaffed, and when I arrived, I witnessed only two girls laboring to satisfy the needs of their customers. I was helped by a young lady with red and purple braids and another lady. I'm delighted they could help and be patient.

for the 20+ years I've been going here, I've always had a great time shopping here. This will almost always be my go-to for quality school and office supplies at a great price. Plus, it's an actual store! and they price match so even if i find the same product cheaper elsewhere, they'll price match it!

The Amazon returns are so convenient. I love that it's so easy to do my returns here, and always get a coupon for the store which I use the same day. The only thing is that I wish they would have better stock of the bubble Envelopes that I use because I tend to buy alot and my last 2 visits they did not have enough.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. This place is absolute trash and the staff and ownership doesn''t care. They have endless terrible reviews. Staples management please don't waste your time with your generic response.

I'm a small business owner who comes into here very regularly for both business needs AND personal tech purchases. I've had mostly okay experiences at this location- I would say about 25% of the associates are genuinely polite, the majority apathetic, but the rest actually rude. Long wait times, not well staffed.
I specifically come here to avoid shopping at Amazon or Walmart and spread my dollars around a little more, but this may have been my last time...
I purchased a warranty for a tech item I bought in June. I came in in November with my receipt and the brochure for my warranty. I ask associate "how do I get my money back-" she says "oh just file your claim online. Would you like to recycle the device here?" I said "Don't I need to send it in or anything?" She tells me I do not, which I then ask her if she's sure, and she says no, I do not need to.
I proceed to tell her I would at least like to take a photo for proof, which she says okay, before putting them in their tech recycling cart.
Now months later, the warranty company wants my broken item...I called Staples back and the associate I spoke to used every excuse under the sun " She must not have known" "You must have miscommunicated since all our associates know the warranty policy" "Well I don't know there's much we can do, it's not our fault "....It's YOUR policy, for an item from YOUR store, and YOUR associate directed me what to do (even after I tried to double check and ask if she was sure I didn't need to send them in)... Take some accountability.
Additionally, I always ensure I am polite and respectful towards anyone helping me in a store because a)it's how I was raised to be respectful to others and b)I work customer service myself...but for whatever reason there is a really sour associate there. One instance, she was helping me and really was seething with rage and irritation at every single question I asked (I needed help getting something from an area that had locked items, so I sort of HAD to ask for help). I had another issue with this same representative , on another day, being extremely rude towards me for wanting to throw outside trash (just a small item, not anything large) away in their entryway garbage bin after walking in as I was coming in for a purchase. She asked me to remove it and throw it away elsewhere, which I obliged since I didn't want to make her apparently bad day worse. I get we all have stress in life, maybe she hates her job, but it's not acceptable to be hostile towards random people for no reason.
I'm sorry to say if this doesn't go well and they do not cover the issue financially by refunding my item their associate recycled, I will never step foot in this store again for my personal or business related purchases- it's not worth the stress of dealing with the caliber of associate they are hiring there, and Staples will have henceforth lost all my faith as a reputable retailer if they allow their associate to mislead me and force me to take the financial loss. I hope they do, but I have little faith as it is, and this store really needs to clean up it's act to maintain any customers. There are too many other viable options out there today to be performing this poorly.Feb 22, 2024 -
Great place to grab all your office and school supplies. Plus, much more, like pictures and Christmas cards. Has a parking lot for easy access. In the same lot as a dollar store and auto zone, with McDonald's next door.

Do yourself a favor and avoid the Staples location at all cost. The staff here is terribly slow and don’t care at all. The manager is even worse. Copy, Center is a disaster and good luck finding someone to help you find a product or who even cares to help you . No one cares and they aren’t helpful at all.
On another note, I walked in with my elderly grandmother, who while we were shopping had to use the bathroom in an emergency situation and they refused to open the bathroom for her. And everyone’s facial expressions said: “oh well, that your problem!” The recommendation was to go to McDonald’s! If I was there to shop at Staples, we should be allowed to use those bathrooms.

I cannot begin to express the frustration I faced when trying to print 1 single thing. It ended up costing me just under $10 for 1 piece of paper and about 30 minutes of my time. A line formed behind me and I felt so bad everyone had to wait for this guy.
Initially, I wanted a label printed on foamcore for a gallery showing. I brought the file in my email to share but they said their "email isn't working" so I should use the computer to put it on a hard drive they provided me. I wasn't aware the computers had a per minute fee so I quickly logged in, downloaded the file, and logged out. ~$5
Then upon going back to the counter, the initial person wasn't there and a new person was. I could not believe the slowness of his actions. He was legit moving in slow motion. I told him what I wanted but he wanted me to wait for the lady who first helped me. I said can we just print it on the thickest paper you have? He brings over a very flimsy piece. I asked....don't you have cardstock for all the christmas cards you're advertising here? Confused, he goes back and finds a slightly thicker paper. I asked him to make the file a bit smaller but he couldn't figure that out. I finally got him to print the one piece of paper and paid for that ~$3-4. He didn't even cut it for me. I had to go over to the big paper cutter and do it myself. What an awful time.Dec 04, 2023 -
Marge ( The lady who does the printing station) was so FRIENDLY and NICE. She helped me out with my order and even went out her way to help me Save money on my order.
Couldn't have asked for better service. I come to this staples a lot for office supplies and little DIY projects.
It's always clean and staff are always helpful!

Do not visit this staples for TSA Precheck. I couldn't get passed the thumb fingerprinting and the rude woman sat there and watched me try 100 times. I had no choice but to walk out when she said there's nothing she could do. I walk-in to the next staples without an appointment in Manhattan (off Broadway in Greenwich) and the man running TSA pre-check was one of the nicest people I've ever encountered. He had a station to wipe your fingers, hold your wrist, lift a paper towel out from under your hand on the screen. He had done this a million times and knew how to get around common issues. When I told him I had an early appointment at a different Staples and had to leave, he said he'd look into them because they sounded lazy.
Oh, and after walking in the cold to the first staples, I asked for a restroom to blow my nose. They said no. Then they made me wait 20 minutes after my appointment to start the process.Mar 21, 2023 -

The ladies working at the copy and print services are phenomenal and deserve all the possible praise. Quality customer service is all too rare but they really helped me and were super sweet. Sometimes you can have a life affirming event at the oddest of places

Horrible Customer Service. I was put on hold by a girl who had no idea what she was doing and had no reason picking up the phone. She was bothered when I had her ask for an item and placed me on hold. The manager got on after the third phone call and when I asked him for the item I was looking for, he had no idea what I was talking about. I was placed on hold for 10 minutes then hung up on. Afterwards the phone was picked up when I called from a different number with the excuse being that someone else picked up their phone and I was hung up on. The manager needs to be FIRED. The staff need to be replaced. Not the way to treat a customer. I wish I could give 0 stars. No help whatsoever. Just trash employees.

Great store, well stocked and clean. Items very organized, everything is easy to find. The associates are very polite, courteous and will assist you immediately. They have a Great stationary and writing items section. Highly Recommend A+++++. And a large selection of Office Supplies !!!

It's the first day of school, and store isn't even open on time. Did an online order to pick up because I was in a rush, it would have been nice if the store was exactly open. They have two staples employees here waiting outside to clock in to WORK. They have a line out here with parents and children for school supplies. Just want to shout out the actual employee that were on time Imani and Matthew!
