Very sad store… went for birthday balloons barely have any selection to begin with (no basic oval shapes, only star shaped metallic). You have to order them at the regular cashier , almost every colour I wanted the drawer was empty… the only balloon I did get a very large number eight was half deflated by the time I got home 15 minutes later. I cannot stop telling friends about the deals. Cleaning products and cosmetics are dupes of expensive brands and they work. Doggy treats are cheaper and are brand names. A visit is worth it. Seasonal items like Halloween and Christmas are nice and really not expensive.

I was in and out within 10 minutes. Everyone there was super helpful. The best part is this was a real Dollar store. Items were super cheap and not expensive like the other rip-offs/imitators.

It's a mess in this store! Items are all over the shelves, on the floor, many broken items, boxes stacked, and half open on the floor. It looks filthy.

Worst dollar tree ever This place needs to be condemned. Store is filthy and smells. Can't take the carts to your car to unpack, manager has the nastiest attitude. Oh and there's always only 1 cashier, never anything on the shelves just a bunch of boxed throughout blocking the aisles

The staff is always helpful when you ask. My only issue is that the store needs to be kept clean and mop. Maybe they need to hire more staff. That won't stop me from shopping there.

Bought so much, and the price was excellent, very affordable. I'm about to paint my room. I bought everything i needed to paint, for example, paint brushes, paint sponge, paint roller etc, etc. It was way cheaper there than in any store that sells the same products. I highly recommend it.

The place is a little messy, but they are better than most Dollar Trees in Brooklyn. They are well stocked, and you can definitely get a lot of organizational and DIY materials there. I definitely will be back!

I love the dollar tree franchise! Depending on what you get, it's decent quality and cheap too. I like the fact that they have a 3-5 dollar isle too now. This specific store has good customer service & for the most part, it's as clean as they can get it and maintain it. The only thing I do have to say is that I was extremely dissatisfied with the lack of outdoor wear that they had. I went for some winter gloves & to my avail there was none there at all. That's the only complaint that I have. Other than that good store and will recommend

Looks like a war zone. Trash all ove the store, entire rows of shelves empty, carts all over the store full of stuff to be stocked. Not a single bar of soap, hand soap shampoo.... All the shelves completely empty. I have never seen such a mess in my life. Staff are friendly but obviously not enough of them to even try and keep it going.

They have everything you’d expect from Dollar Tree. However, Maybe it’s because it is a Brooklyn NY location but the place is a mess. Boxes stacked head high in the middle of aisles waiting to be unpacked. Sometimes blocking the entire aisle. An avalanche of boxes is imminent to fall on someone. Maybe hire an overnight staff or daytime staff that want to work. On busy days/ busy hours there seems to be a lack of cashiers. With 1 cashier the line runs into the aisle.

Same old problems, different management. The store would be fully stocked if they had workers to unload the merchandise and put them on the shelves. Lack of cashiers and low pay ? is part of the problem also ?

I visited three times in past years and was discouraged to visit again. It was nothing like you see in YouTube, Instagram and other platforms. Everything was out of place, boxes everywhere, dirty. I was attracted to visit because of craft stuff, office supplies, and all around home decor. I'll try visiting again soon and edit this post as needed.

I really was amazed by all the fully stocked items that were available to me. If you need items for crafting, Birthdays and Holidays , this the place to go. The staff is very friendly and I appreciate that. I usually shop in Jersey at the Dollar Tree, but now this Is my store now?

A few months back this store use to be great now I’ll give it 1 star. The store is always a mess it’s always boxes in the way! There’s never enough cashiers and the manager Ashley is rude! This store needs new management

Horrible two people working line is all the way by the cards’ and there are two people working the white emo girl just leaving the guy working by himself didn’t help out while the guy was there by himself the whole time I was in the store for 20 minutes today, standing in front the store after we’re finally done and five minutes later she wants to go help horrible service every time I come the workers are always sitting in the front smoking weed walking out mid shift lolly gaging while the store is busy it’s ridiculous I will no longer be coming to this location.

Waited over 20 mins in line for someone to check out with over 200 items, then needed to void some so the cashier had to rescan everything. Went to the other (RARE) cashier and someone with another 100 items cut in front of me by waiting with someone in both lines. I had about 6 items. The store was full of boxes and 2-3 aisles weren't accessible because of piles of boxes. So much of the store is in disarray. Never enough people working. Usually smells weird. I walked out nauseated recently. I usually would love coming here. Good for cheap basics but not the dollar tree I'm used to.

While waiting in line for over 20 min and line is to the back of the store the so called employee who’s just been walking around comes up and splits the line and takes the back and starts ringing them out on another cash register. As if my time isn’t worth it. I waited just like everyone else and there’s no reason you start helping from the middle back. Absolutely the worst customer service. Even when saying something he justified that he’s gotta get the line moving. Don’t waist your time here. Common sense isn’t there employees strong suit.

Like other reviews said.. Usually one cashier during busy hours (weekends and weekday evenings). Unacceptable. Photo provided is very commonly what you'll deal with going during those hours. Yes, that's the line to check out.

The store was pretty nice and have a good variety of items. The only problem i had was with the paper bags as someone who travels through train let me tell you its not easy to carry paper handles bags, one out of 4 bags ripped as soon as i walked out the store doors i tried walking 5 blocks to the train but stuff kept falling out the bags so i decided to just take an uber home so i put the bags on the floor. When my uber arrived i tried to pick up all three bags and a whole bag of items ended up on the side walk while the uber was waiting for me. So i went to place the other two bags in the uber then went back to pick up all the thing. Lucky for me the uber driver offered me a plastic bag after he saw all my things fallen. All in all it was a fine experience in the store but they need to do better with the bags. Love that they have my favorite soda which i don't find in many places

This place is a hell hole. For many years its looked like a 3rd world country. Boxes all over the place of products, dirty, expired food. Always a wait at the check out line because there's only one cashier working. Stay away not unless you want to feel dirty or need a bottle of water. The parking lot looks like chop shop thanks to Danken Auto Parts who clearly doesn't care about the shoppers and the other business is trying to make it.

I understand that it’s a dollar store but this one is the worst one I’ve ever seen. Everything so disorganized and messy. It’s really hard to get through between piles of things and impossible to find what you need. By the store’s look you can tell how they “care” about their customers.

12/20 omg does it mean they are closing. It looks like a rampage in the store. Shame. Unfortunate for customers. Nothing to buy. Plates are broken. I have new pics. 12/10/18 the store wasn't full. Only 1 register open. It almost seems as if the store may be closing. U can't shop for Xmas. NOTHING is put on shelves. Took new pics. Dishes are broken on shelf. No workers unpacking. Boxes with items are piled unpacked. Check expiration date on edible items. It is Nov. 19 2018 & I thank God no 1 has been hurt in this store, either by the stacks of boxes piled up or by arguing with the terrible staff. I needed aluminum paper & I went (even though I hate it). Wow can better business bureau hasnt closed it down. How the news hasn't gone there. Look at the new pics I'm posting how awful for consumers to go shop. No matter the bad reviews no improvement. Why bother to alert or post a review if nothing gets done. It's disgusting. This is in Deblasio's neighborhood & councilman Ortiz. Shame, shame. August 31 2018, it's disgusting to see that nothing has improved at this store. It's worse unfortunately. I see 1 of the workers got a job next door in the auto store. Smart. People smoke pot in the store, addicts use the bathroom & they steal in great abundance since no 1 watches or cares. Children shouldn't go in for safety reasons. This store (Hamilton and 3rd ave, bklyn) is very messy, items are always out of date (see date on sausage roll) boxes r unpacked and in the isles, shelves are empty, only 1 cashier open, no carts, staff is not helpful, rude, slow, always some 1 new (and they stay in store until 12am to do nothing), manager is never in, this is week after week after week, it was BETTER when it was deals. ??? I just came from here 2/26/18 again, omg it's worse. Why isn't anyone doing anything. Liquid soap spilled on the floor, isles are empty, unopened boxes piled up. I hope they close it & put in a new store, new management. 3/19 only 1 register open, the line was so long people left. Aisles blocked by boxed merchandise, items on the floor, shelves empty. Pls replace the store & staff. 5/28 I went again today & ok took photos to share to show you that the conditions in the store have worsen. Someone (God 4bid) is going to get hurt from boxes falling over. I even witnessed a new employee complaining out loud as he worked & he addressed the little kids rudely. The 1st parent had words wit him & the 2nd father told him off (almost fought) & the people in the store agreed with dad even me. Not once did a manager show face. The worker then went to the bathroom & didn't come out. I waited to take a pic. If I go back with my grand baby & the worker says anything I will call my hubby my son in law & we will break windows & tear up the store & shut him up. He doesn't know how to speak to people that's why they almost hit him. This store needs to shut down. We need a new business, new management. 6/16 I'm posting a new photo of boxes piled in rows blocking the emergency exit. Now the new employee I mentioned is still telling at kids. I know he's looking for trouble. My grandson heard him, looked at him & was scared. If God forbid something falls over on some 1 it will be very bad. Only 1 register opened. The worker call the manager for help cause her line was BIG & we all hear her say NO! Close this store. 10/10/18 accompanied an elderly neighbor (because I don't want to shop here) I had to tell her a few times to be careful & the black employee man who likes to be heard when he speaks also told customers "watch the boxes they will fall over" they still have piles of boxes about 12 baggage carts full of boxes in every isle. If they fall who will be responsible for an injury. They have more people working now so whaTs the excuse? I didnt take pics cause it's not making a difference.

Worst location hands down. There’s always boxes of inventory in the aisles, most times you can’t even access the shelves. There is zero order at this Dollar Tree and there are never enough cashiers.

This store is in need of new management. The aisles are dangerously cluttered regularly and nothing's on the shelves.

I love this store love going there but to be honest is always Messi store is empty.every time a visit the store there cars full of new stuff in boxes. People have to get the stuff from the boxes. They really need to organized ASAP this has been like this for years. And yes still love the dollar tree ? The staff are very nice.
