i had an old piercing that got yanked weird and chance quickly and gently replaced it. i also got new jewelry for all my lobe piercings that will actually last a good long time, and tallulah was so helpful with advising on the best jewelry for my taste. i would only come here for any more piercings / jewelry!

Adam is not only a total pro: thoughful, transparent, listens, etc. -- but he's also just a light! Putting everyone at ease and making the moment really special.

My daughter had a previous traumatic experience with a piercing (from another shop) and we've come here a few times since - once to "fix" the previous problem, and then to re-pierce and get a new piercing. All the staff and owner Adam were really kind, understanding, patient, and thorough, making sure history did not repeat itself. Thank you!!!

Maybe I just came in on an off day? My appointment was scheduled in the middle of their shop hours and they said it was a very slow day. I was refit for jestrum jewelry after not having a piece in for 2 days by the time of my appointment, and the piercer didn’t talk me through it / warn me before touching my face and putting in the piece, which was incredibly painful maybe made worse by the shock; I began swelling immediately. I’ve never experienced a piercer not talking you through consent with touch before. Then the expensive piece fell out after 2 days. The piece was the single most expensive jewelry I’ve ever bought as well, and it was a simple curved barbell. They also mentioned they hate flat backs a couple times, as if trying to discourage me when I asked for a flat back — and I explained that it makes eating/drinking with a jestrum easier, but they kept bringing it up, and I felt bad.

Super competent, professional, friendly piercing technicians and a tasteful array of high-quality jewelry. Great value for the money - highly recommend.

We had a wonderful experience getting my 7-year-old’s ears pierced. Adam was great with kids and her ears look perfect. This studio is well worth the price!!

such a wonderful environment and competent piercers. one of my ear piercings from another studio had been done at the incorrect angle and they were able to fix it efficiently through scar tissue. great jewelry selection, and they’re so quick. they always seem to remember me, too! i ALWAYS recommend them to friends.

Excellent experience from start to finish. Lorelei was so thoughtful and patient, helping pick out a piece of jewelry and recommending placement. I felt so at ease, can't wait to go back for another piercing! Also thank you for the care instructions on that nifty card!!

The shop itself is beautifully decorated, warm, welcoming and very clean. I went in for a daith piercing, and Lorelei was amazing from start to finish. She was very transparent about what to expect during the piercing and healing process, which helped ease my nerves. She was so patient in answering questions (and there were a lot!), and never made me feel rushed. The piercing itself was quick and much more comfortable than I expected. I left with thorough aftercare instructions. They also have a lovely selection of jewelry to choose from. Booking was simple, and I was seen right on time. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend to anyone considering a piercing. I'll definitely be back!

Loved my experience getting a nostril piercing by Lorelei. Lorelei’s friendliness and care is unmatched. I was a bit nervous (just overthinking the pain) and Lorelei made me feel completely at ease, as well as doing the quickest piercing ever. So happy!

If I could leave Adam & Ahimsa 7 stars I would. Their customer service is absolutely incredible! They’ve gone above and beyond to make sure my piercing looks good, heals properly and that I’m happy. They also have great jewelry. I’ve never experienced a more professional team that is committed their customers. Totally happy!

I've had a total of 6 piercings done here, and I've been a few times to buy jewelry for a nostril piercing I've had for decades. Everyone who works here is so kind and knowledgeable. All of my piercings so far have healed really well and their selection of jewelry is so incredibly beautiful. Always a great experience from start to finish at this shop, I will definitely be back again and again!

We had a great experience at Ahimsa - Adam and Talulah were incredibly knowledgeable and helped us discern what the best piercing would be based on location, healing time, and lifestyle. The shop was very clean and Adam was super professional throughout the whole process. I got a third lobe piercing and it was done with such skill that I don’t have any swelling or soreness one day after! Would highly recommend Ahimsa to anyone looking to get a piercing and wants the best chance of successful healing.

Everything about this studio is amazing! Adam pierced my nostril and was so exceptional, I dare you to find a better piercer anywhere! He helped me to pick the perfect jewelry, took the time to explain what placement would work best, and gave me every opportunity to offer feedback and ask questions. The piercing itself was so quick and seamless, I barely felt a thing! Tallulah was also lovely and gave clear, detailed instructions on aftercare. My friend who came with me was so impressed, she immediately made an appointment to get a custom piece designed. I waited nearly a year after my appointment to write this review for a complete assessment. I went to Ahimsa for my first-ever piercing and the folks were simply amazing! They put me at ease and the process was super smooth. They also gave me a ton of info on post-care and when I developed an issue a few months later (piercing got snagged in my clothing) they helped fix it with a lot of care. It's expensive than other places but I'd recommend for the hands-on treatment, especially if this is your first piercing. I'm fully healed now and so happy with my new jewelry!

Loved the entire process from start to end. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, and so was the service provided by Allie. The pieces from BVLA are very unique looking. Can’t wait to be back!

Fabulous experience from start to finish. Adam is super welcoming, thoughtful, and kind! The person working the front (whose name I have sadly forgotten!) was also really sweet. I went in for my third lobe piercings and he spent a long time looking at my ears to find the optimal placements. The actual piercings were a breeze and I couldn’t be happier. Will definitely be back for some more if I’m in the area.

I had a piercing job at Ahimsa a couple of weeks ago. Adam did my piercing, he was very professional, even though it was a private piercing, Adam's professionalism put me at ease. I did not feel uncomfortable at all, this was something very important to me. He is very knowledgeable, and caring. The studio is rather small but very clean and funky! They created a very cozy environment. They have a selection of jewelry, but there's more variety online. I highly recommend Ahimsa!!

Ahimsa has always been great to me. You can tell that everybody there is very experienced and professional, and I highly recommend them if you're looking to get a safe, hygienic piercing. The jewelry is high quality and they are confident in what they are offering. All of the staff has always been so kind and helpful, not pushy when it comes to purchasing jewelry pieces. Even when my gold septum ring got bent out of shape, they were kind enough to help me reshape it and even put it back into place for me.

The workers here are super nice. Small studio and very inclusive environment. Their selection of jewelry is small but all their prices are high quality and they had a lot of basics so anyone could find something here for a new piercing. I didn’t find as many styles as I was hoping for but I’d definitely still recommend them.

Wonderful experience! I had my lobes pierced (3 on each side) as a kid 30+ years ago and wanted another hole on each side - no mall piercing guns this time! My spouse wanted their first, 2 on each lobe. Alex was very professional and advised it would not be recommended to put another hole where I wanted because it would end up going through a type of cartilage that was known to be tricky to heal, so I ended up getting a stacked lobe piercing on one side and a helix piercing on the other instead. Not at all what I ever envisioned getting but I felt so comfortable after Alex explained how to care for it and the healing time, that my old worries about helix piercings being nasty with infections were gone in a flash. My spouse was reassured and encouraged through the whole process and did great with getting 4 holes at once. I am admiring my new piercings and thinking I want to go back and get some more as soon as I save up again! I love their follow-up services and that we can stop by to have things switched out for glass placeholders if we have any medical procedures that would require metal being removed. Ahimsa staff are 100% professional and super friendly.

I love Ahimsa!!! Alex, Adam and Candace are so kind. They never make me feel intimidated (which I have definitely felt at other piercers). I think that that’s what makes Ahimsa so unique!! I’ve gone to Ahimsa to get my conch and my rook pierced. With these piercings, I’ve had some issues but that’s just because I accidentally sleep on them etc. They’re always willing to help me (in person or over email) when that’s the case. Definitely go here if you want to get pierced in a comfortable, warm environment. :)

I went to get my septum pierced today and had the absolute most amazing experience. Not only is the studio beautiful, but the staff is phenomenal! They make you feel super comforted and confident. Alex ( super chill guy!) and Candice ( I believe that was the lovely woman at the front desk) explained everything to me in grand detail. Once the piercing was done I was so happy. It felt good to be in an environment with great professionalism and charm.I will highly recommend them. A must go to spot!

This shop is definitely worth the trip! Very professional , knowledgeable , trusting, and reassuring workers. At first, I was nervous about getting my piercing due to being an overthinker but it was quick & easy with the help of Adam & Alex . After, I had minor concerns about my healing process but they squeezed me in right away & gave me a piece of mind that everything was fine. Overall , I am very happy with my results and glad I chose this shop. Also, The cleanliness is impeccable! Definitely recommend and plan on coming back in the near future!!

Ahimsa is a wonderful place to get pierced! Alex was extremely fun, professional and easy going. I was pretty nervous before arriving to the shop, as soon as I walked in and met him I felt like there was nothing to worry about. The shop is beautiful adorned with plants and cute decor. It’s clean and comfy. The Jewelry is extremely cute and they will be patient and helpful when it comes to deciding which piece you should go with. there is a back room with a leather chair for you to sit on while you get pierced. Alex let me know everything he was doing and when it was going to happen. I really couldn’t recommend him enough! I’ll be going back for sure.

I went in to Ahimsa yesterday as a walk-in and had a wonderful experience. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Adam, who did the piercing and I believe is the owner, was very nice and professional and did a great job making me feel comfortable. They had a beautiful selection of jewelry. I highly recommend them!
