Small store, I really go to use the pharmacy. Staff is pleasant. Clean atmosphere.
What I didn't like, I had to still wait on a long line after paying before I arrived. They should've had or asked if you payed already. Just to keep the line down.
In case you're wondering if the service has improved in 2025 - the answer is no. Hopefully one day the pharmacist will find parking *before* they open and not cause the entire pharmacy to wait behind a locked gate until he arrives 45 minutes later.
pharmacy is fine and better than rite aid on bedford ave. they call or text when the prescription is ready and they have a large staff. wait was about 10 min in line which isn’t terrible. Yes they take a lunch break but blame that on corporate profits and staffing . These employees should be paid more. Maybe they will all unionize one day.
Pharmacy never open at listed time. When they finally open the line is extended with only one team member available. Don't think about going later if you're not expecting a 40 minute wait.
I have had shortage of ADHD medication for over two weeks. Customer service showed zero empathy for problem. Did not offer any solutions or help to deal with medication shortage by providing any information about the alternative medications that were in stock. They simply did not look at me because I was taking up their time. Moreover, they never call back or any other locations when calling them, even though they always say that is only way I can do my scavenger hunt to see what cvs has my medication in stock. This branch but cvs all together is not able to provide for customers
Won’t ever return your call, they do not care. I needed my medication urgently and they never answered any of my calls or voicemails. DO NOT EVER GET YOUR PRESCRIPTION HERE
I needed this medication I was prescribed as soon as possible and I have not been able to pick up because the pharmacy is close when I go to work and close when I come back. I have not had a day off since July 17 and won’t have a day off until sept 10 (1 day). I did not have the time to pick up today, anyway I had to ask ay work and run, take an uber from Queens to Brooklyn as soon as I got the message medication was ready. There was traffic and I thought I may not have the time, so while I was on the way in the iber, I downloaded CVS app to try to pay online for my prescriptions and then send someone nearby for pick. FROM MY UBET APP I requested “uber package” (another uber driver) so a driver nearby the pharmacy could go and pick up my medication with all the information he needed to do so. When the driver gets there and make a line, they say at the register “the order is not for delivery, is for pick up” a lot a back and forth then the driver calls me and let me know, he hands the phone the person in the register and he says same thing “the order is not for delivery, is for pick up” I told him, “exactly that’s why he is there, he is picking up” the guy from CVS repeat is not for delivery if you want your money back you have to call blah blah. I told him “the delivery HAS NOTHING to be with CVS, that’s an uber driver I hired and paid for from my uber app so is basically the same as is a friend or anyone else was picking up for me” he said “order is not for delivery again. Made it to the pharmacy and the only male in the register was a short African American guy Friday 30th at 6:00 pm. Make sure your employees are capable to understand basic sentences because this person must have some type of diagnosed intellectual disability. Anyone can pick up a paid order with the information needed, and they would have not known this was an uber driver unless the driver tells, basically he was someone picking up an order FOR PICK UP that was paid online SPECIFICALLY to make my exhausting life easier for 1 single evening.
Worst pharmacy. Can't tell you how many times they said they didn't receive the prescription order after I had confirmation of my doctor's office that it was sent. They made me come back later so many times and still didn't have my medication ready that now I made a vow to never use this pharmacy again. Everytime I gave them another try they made sure to disappoint.
Absolutely the worst customer service and can't even get anyone on the phone I wish I could give a rating of 0. This place is a waste of time. DO NOT USE this pharmacy
I have tried to get a prescription filled since the 28th of November. I went to the CVS in person with a print out of a copy of the e-script TWICE and even after giving this to the pharamacists at the CVS, my prescription could not be found in the system. One of them called the doctor to confirm as well. I was repeatedly told to call/come back later, go the app, or that there was nothing they could do. I gave up on CVS and moved on to another specialty pharamacy today.
Lines for prescriptions are always too too long. Difficulty using the App which rejects credible, factual information and any question asked of Pharmacy staff they direct you to the App or a number. No one answers the number. I've moved to a mom and pop and I'm pretty satisfied.
I was given the Freestyle test strips instead of the Contour brand that I have been using for years. I could not use the incorrect strips and was unable to test my blood sugar as my doctor ordered. The pharmacist and associates working in this CVS refused to exchange the strips stating I didn’t have my receipt. I usually have a copay of five dollars for this item. I asked for a manager and was told there was no manager here. A female interjected were exchange and I was told to shove my test strips and for someone with my Big age I should be ashamed of my self. Well CVS needs to be ashamed of having someone like the person working for them. This was a pharmacy mistake and it needs to be corrected
Scheduled a Covid shot but they didn’t have it because their system doesn’t give inventory info to the CVS website. Just don’t go here, there are a million other pharmacies in the area and this is a bad one.
Super bad service here! I had an ear infection, and got the prescription sent here since it was close. I went to pickup my early drops, but they told me it wasn’t ready yet - The doctor had sent the prescription to the pharmacy over an hour before I showed up. They told me to come back in an hour. When I showed up an hour later, my order wasn’t ready. So I had to wait at the pharmacy for them to get my prescription ready. Don’t ever bother to go here. Worst CVS in NYC.
This CVS used to answer their phones very quickly but not anymore!!! it's a miracle if you can get them on the phone!!! After you call for 3 hrs ,it either goes to VM ,nobody listen or gets hang off on! you need at least 2 trips to get your meds there. worst if those are new prescriptions. from 1pm to 2pm pharmacy is closed in person or on the phone, smh you guys can't hired more people!!
they used to call me about my meds that are maybe not covered or other things, not anymore!!! the app say to call which is a waste of time!!
there should be a message/text system on the app. and a report section too!!

How are they legally still open? I was diagnosed with pneumonia , the pill was not available in ER so I was given something else and told the pills I need would be sent to the pharmacy. My dad waited 1 hour on line for them to tell him my prescription is not there. That it will be ready tomorrow . I called the ER , the doc informed me that the prescription is there. How can they play with peoples health? I need this antibiotic to ensure I get better! WOW UNBELIEVABLE. the Pharmacy could care less about my issue. They don’t even care about answering the phone. UNBELIEVABLE
I tried to get one of my daily medications filled here and it took me at least 6 trips, each time there was some new issue. This medicine causes withdrawal symptoms if you miss a day, and the pharmacy techs made it clear from the way they spoke to me that they didn’t really care if that happened. One of the pharmacists, the woman with curly hair, gave me a day’s dose one time and that helped me get through the day and I came back the next day but there was still some “issue with the insurance”.
My doctor’s office confirmed multiple times there was no issue on their side with the prescription. My insurance didn’t call me or leave a message or anything about this prescription. But for some reason the type of pill was always the wrong one or the one insurance didn’t cover, and magically the one kind of pill that was covered under my insurance was always out of stock.
I gave up and I’m transferring to a different pharmacy.
I had to tell the pharmacist who wears glasses to stop interrupting me when I was trying to ask for help and I’ve seen the pharmacy techs wearing flip flops behind the counter, which I’m pretty sure is against regulations.
How is this location still open? The pharmacist are not only rude but absolutely ignorant when it comes to federal regulations. Waited over 2 hours on hold to try to talk to pharmacist, and they just hung up the phone before taking to me. Once I got to the physical store, it took 40min to be seen by a pharmacist who didn’t seem to care that he was wasting everyone’s time.
Send your medication ANYWHERE else!
This is the worst pharmacy ever .
They never pick up the phone or respond to you when you leave a message on the voicemail.
They don’t deserve a ⭐️ at all .
Horrible horrible place, NEVER go here if you can avoid it. Pharmacists can’t be bothered to wear their masks correctly around people who are clearly at-risk, since we’re here to pick up MEDS. They’ll call you and say it’s ready and have nothing for you when you come in, or NEVER call you and make you go WEEKS without your medication. Line is always at least a dozen people long because people who work here don’t respect anyone but themselves. And now they take all take a lunch break at the same time and have to close in the middle of the day. I have never been so disgusted by a business as I am by this pharmacy.
Understaffed and incompetent.
Whenever I call them they dont pick up, when they finally did today they hung up right away. When I go in it's a 30-45 minute line every time. They always have some issue with my doctors RX and never call him to resolve it leaving me with out my meds.
