This branch is awful. I had to go back five times to cash bonds. Never had to make appointment at a bank for them to provide services.

I would like to give a shoutout to Kelly at this branch, I was dealing with an issue with my account and she showed so much empathy and sincerely wanted to help, felt more genuine than most customer service bankers. She did everything she could to resolve everything, I was hopeless but the next day everything was resolved! Thanks again Kelly

Worst service at 195 Montague St, Brooklyn, NY 11201. Manager does not professional. I made mistake by opening accounts here. Can you imagine if you want to get a document notarized then they ask you make an appointment for next day and come back.

I ordered the Access card last week，and it supports to send me the physical card in 1 day. And I did not received the access card, so I came to the branch. The banker told me that they didnt order the card at all! My whole plan was messed up due to the silly mistake.

First time I have ever walked into a bank in 40 years and they refused to exchange bills after using their ATM.

I’ve called at least 10 times on different days, at different times of day, all during business hours to ask a simple question. Phone hasn’t been answered once.

Do NOT open a citi business account. Went in and thought I opened but banker made so many mistakes. 3 months later they closed my account due to those errors he entered. Tons of hours including with branch manager. Citi bank is fine for personal but they have no clue on business account. GO 25 feet to Chase business.

Although it was years ago, I deposited cash in the ATM at this branch, and it was stolen. Somehow the amount on their end did not match the ATM amount I inserted, per their claims. Several internal investigations were done, supposedly, and all came to the same conclusion. I was told by their corporate leadership to hire a private investigator if I wanted. Never, ever should anyone trust this branch, or this bank. I decided to post this review, as I was reminded by someone who also had a bad experience.

Came here during business hours and they can’t even find a banker to help Citi gold member. What’s the point of having the branch with no bankers and also the membership if you can’t even serve your customers.

Really bad branch. Who are they trying to kid with the new open layout plan? The security is a joke (with no security glass as though the tellers are just receptionists). It looks like an invitation for a bank robbery. It made me nervous to wait in line for a teller, and believe me, the wait was long as always because this branch is constantly understaffed. Yet they always have plenty of extra people to walk up and down the line apologizing for the wait and doing nothing. Two at a time. How about you train them to sit a teller drawer? Managers should know how to do that. And telling us to do our “simple transactions at the ATMs”? Yeah, I’m not going to do that for large withdrawals when you are fully allowing panhandlers to long-term camp out in there. Disaster of a branch. Note to Citibank’s corporate design consultants who came up with this new open plan concept—you’re nuts. When I come to a bank in New York City to transact in hard currency, I like to feel secure. This isn’t paper pushing. This isn’t a business meeting. I am not about to have tea with your teller. This is cash. I know your tellers have cash. I want them and me and the cash to be safe. It does not make me feel confident to have the whole place look like you’ve moved the branch into a vacated WeWork.

Customer svc is horrible at this branch. Myself and other customers stood in line for about 20 mins while the teller had a personal discussion with a customer. Not about bank business. This happens every time I go there. No consideration for the people waiting on line. And it's always the same teller doing this.

Though friendly teller, policy of only providing medallion notary for clients seems bizarre. Needed to get certification for my Treasury direct I bonds account verification and was not even allowed to pay for a notary stamp. Doesn't give me any reason to believe they'd be a good option for future banking needs when you can't even perform a simple procedure without exclusivity.

The new branch is so futuristic and offers a lot of digital services. Make an appointment and you are set

IT is sad to see the destruction of Citi's Consumer Franchise. John Reed, the former CEO who had the astounding vision to formulate and execute Citi's Consumer strategy to phenomenal success must be spinning in his grave at the neglect and destruction of this one-time iconic part of the Citibank repertoire. This branch is the worse, horrible customer service and the tellers act as personal banking advisors - while they only have 2 tellers, meaning if you come here you have to have an hour to wait in line just to see a teller.

Enter this Location of Citibank on Monday 14th 2022 around 11am signed in looking for someone to help me out, upon doing so saw to employees one standing up and other by the desk chatting away with each other they turned look at me and continued chatting away. They never offered any type of assistance to man in work clothes but up come a white couple and immediately they get services …… just calling as I see it

Really poor customer service even for Citigold clients. Waited 25 mins despite making an appointment and still had to flag someone down to help me. Makes me want to switch banks. Avoid this branch!

SUPER experience with Loan Officer Heng Chen! To be honest, we were more interested in working with a smaller lender (not a big bank) on our new home purchase, but we were really happy working with Heng. He was extremely attentive and hard-working and seemed to guide us effortlessly through the home-buying process. We came to really trust Heng, and he was an excellent partner. The absolute worst. No one ever answers the phone. They don’t return calls when I leave a message. I’m honestly not sure my small business associate still works there even though his name is on the outgoing message. They lost all our paperwork, which we had to do over, which caused a huge disruption and wasted hours and hours of my time as I tried to fix everything. We’re likely to move to another bank soon.

This bank over time, gradually became an absolute disaster. There is no one to talk to at the branch, wait time is at least 45 min to see a representative, if you call the main number to address an issue, they route and re-route you ten times and if you are lucky that your call is not dropped in the process, the end result is that that person is unable to do anything substantial for you. I had an issue with a fraudulent transaction, they denied the reversal and do not respond to my emails. All I can do is to call the same main number to be on hold forever. This is so insane, you cannot imagine. Stay away from this bank, especially if you are a business customer.

Waited a long time. I was 2nd in line there was 1 teller. You would think with all local citi banks closed that would have more tellers. Head teller did nothing. 15 min later there was 10 behind me.

This bank is terrible waited for over an hour for customer service. No one wears name tags. One of the reps left customers waiting while he sat and has a conversation with a teller who was either on break or was finish working.

This branch is just terrible. I took time off work to come in and open an account. No one manning the sign in desk. Pen doesn’t work to sign in. 3 other people waiting and everyone confused about how to get serviced.

Matt Galasso is great. Jeff Werner is great. The tellers including Roberto and Beverley are really professional and friendly. They run a solid operation here. They've helped my family for ages and especially my mom after a death in the family.

The service here is terrible. Wait there 30 minutes and nobody came help you.however either somebody were sitting in the room or the person knew I was waiting there,he was still chatting over there.no wonder citi bank is not good as other banks.really not professional.

There is usually an extremely long wait (about 30 minutes) for a teller. There are two windows for CitiGold and CitiBusiness members, but often there is no teller at those windows. When there is a teller at one of those windows, you can sometimes end up waiting longer in the line for CitiGold/CitiBusiness than in the regular line. There are usually 3 tellers servicing the regular line and only one servicing the CitiGold/CitiBusiness line. I don't understand why the tellers servicing the regular line do not service customers in the CitiGold/CitiBusiness line first.

Worse bank branch in the neighborhood. All I needed was checks. I went there 2 separate days, both days the tellers state checks will be ordered free of charge. After 3 weeks I call the main citibank number and they state checks have never been ordered. If they can't get something as simple as ordering checks right how can I trust a bank like that with my money.
