What clients say about Madison Square Garden in New York (NY)

We had a great first time at Madison Square Garden for the Knicks game on 2/21. It was busy, but they managed the crowds well. There are lots of food options in the arena, like BBQ and a deli. I could see the court well from where I was sitting. The game we went to kept us up in our seats, and overall it was a really fun night. I would definitely go to another sporting event or concert here.

Amazing arena, very efficient in terms of getting into the arena and queuing! Watched the New York Knicks batter Brooklyn Nets, great choice of drink and food whilst in MSG! GO KNICKS!

Great venue, iconic. Only issue are the electric stairs were put off at the end of the Knicks Game, they have to consider going down those stair for older-elderly people or kids could be somewhat dangerous

Madison Square Garden never disappoints! The concert was absolutely incredible from start to finish. The energy in the arena was electric, the sound quality was crystal clear, and every seat felt close to the action. The lights, visuals, and overall production made the night unforgettable. You could feel the excitement of the crowd the entire time. Truly an amazing experience at Madison Square Garden — can’t wait to go back! 🎶🔥

I visited for the Westminster Dog Show and could not have been more impressed! From the moment we arrived, everything was handled seamlessly. The entry lines were well-organized, and the security check was thorough yet fast. The facility itself was spotless—clean, well-maintained, and clearly cared for. Staff throughout the venue were friendly, professional, and eager to help. The layout made it easy to navigate, and accessibility for individuals with handicaps was excellent, with ramps and thoughtfully placed seating. One of the highlights was the incredible view of the Empire State Building—it really added an unforgettable touch to the experience. Best of all, there wasn’t a bad view anywhere inside the venue, so every moment of the show was enjoyable. A truly top-notch experience—I would highly recommend it to anyone!

LGR!!!! I absolutely love the garden!!!!! Easter navigate and all the seats were great views. The food was spectacular, I only wish the team shops had more of a variety. The prices were actually reasonable especially the price of the refillable soda!!!!
Feb 03, 2026 -
Great arena. Much better than the wells fargo arena in Philly. Was able to clearly hear the whole show i went to and the seats were comfortable.
Jan 27, 2026 -
In one word: ravishing. This was my first time at MSG. My first thought: how CLEAN and organized! I attended The Garden for a Rangers game (what a win, folks!) I’ll keep it short and sweet, un poco spicy. Only complaint, expensive drinks. But the staff was kind, and the ambience was impeccable. A night to remember. Cheers.

This is an iconic NYC venue - which is host to concerts, sporting events etc. We had a great time here (ice hockey) and found it easy enough to get to. The seats are all good especially up on the bridge and are comfortable. The tickets can be a little over-priced, but it was worth the experience. And the surrounding area is perhaps a little shady at night so be careful.

Madison Square Garden – New York Rangers Game Night Experience Watching the New York Rangers play at Madison Square Garden is one of those classic New York experiences, and our visit absolutely lived up to the hype. From the moment we arrived, the entry process was impressively organized and fast. Security and ticket scanning moved quickly, even with a packed crowd, which made getting inside smooth and stress-free. For a venue as massive and iconic as MSG, that efficiency really stood out. Inside, the energy was electric — the crowd, the lights, the ice, and the roar of the fans create an atmosphere that makes every play feel intense and exciting. Whether you’re a hardcore hockey fan or just there for the experience, it’s hard not to get swept up in it. The food areas, while offering a wide variety of options, are definitely on the expensive side. You’ll find everything from burgers and fries to pizza, chicken tenders, and craft beers, but prices can add up fast. A simple meal for two can easily turn into a small splurge. Tips to save money: • Eat before you arrive — there are tons of great, more affordable spots around Penn Station and Midtown. • If you want something inside, stick to one item rather than a full meal. • Skip the alcohol if you’re on a budget; drinks are where the prices really jump. Overall, Madison Square Garden delivers an unforgettable game-day experience. Between the smooth entry, incredible atmosphere, and top-tier hockey, it’s a place every sports fan should experience at least once — just plan ahead when it comes to food and drinks. 🏒🔥

Madison Square Park in New York City is a lovely mix of greenery and city energy. The park offers well-kept lawns, walking paths, and plenty of seating, making it a great spot to relax or people-watch. Its location near the Flatiron Building adds iconic views, and the rotating art installations and seasonal events keep the experience fresh. Whether grabbing a snack from nearby Shake Shack or enjoying a quiet moment, the park feels welcoming and vibrant - a nice escape in the middle of the city.

This is a good venue for concerts and sports. The problems are 1. It's in NYC 2. It's way over priced for tickets and concessions 3. The area around it is shady during the day and even worse at night. The seats are all good especially up on the bridge. The seats are decently comfortable. The theater at MSG is a great venue. Much smaller and intimate to see concerts. If you can see a show there you are better off.

The world’s most famous arena for a reason! Have been many times but it’s my first time back since the major renovations and it looks absolutely beautiful. Always a spectacular place to see an event.
Jan 04, 2026 -
This venue used to feel intimidating. Then I realized it is literally a hop, skip and a jump from Penn Station. The venue is easy to navigate, and the staff are AMAZING. They always show up for the Phish fans as kind and joyful. The sound is incredible, no matter where your seats are. I had a pretty high up seat in 225 and the sound was excellent, and I still felt like I was a part of the show. Some venues don't feel that way! I have pretty high anxiety and PTSD and I don't go to concerts too often, BUT I feel so safe at MSG that I took a train from Philly to New York by myself and went to a show solo at MSG. That is how comfortable I feel at this venue. Now I feel like I can attend more shows here!!! You can literally get off the train and not even walk onto the streets of New York if you don't want to- you can just walk right up into MSG.

Went twice this year and this place is always fun. First time experience was a standup show and second time was a concert of Maroon 5. The vibe is amazing and it is always fun to see MSG lit up for events like this. The only downside and the reason i give 4 star is because of their food pricing. The food is overly priced and a simple NUTRL can drink costs around $25.

Madison Square Garden is huge, iconic, and everything you’d expect from one of the most famous arenas in the world. It was surprisingly easy to get in and move through security super organized and efficient for such a big venue. I saw Dave Matthews here, and it was an incredible experience. The sound, the energy, the crowd everything felt electric. Seeing a concert at MSG is truly something special. An amazing venue and a must-see if you’re ever in NYC.
Nov 24, 2025 -
The best experience. My first and only time going Madison Square Garden was when Maroon 5 performed. Been listening to them since 2003 now I get to see them as a birthday present 🎁. Amazing performance 😍😍😍 but drinks are a bit pricey. One Heineken is $22…

Recently flew to NYC for the Basement Yard Podcast at Madison Square Garden. MSG was super clean, workers were super friendly, and food was decently priced. I got a brisket sandwich which was thick and so delicious for $20. My friend got chicken tenders and fries and a water bottle and hers was under $15. The sound quality was amazing which is huge to me considering I’ve been to shows all around the world and sound quality has been an issue at times. Getting in and out of MSG was a breeze and I loved that it’s located right next to Penn Station for a quick ride back home.

Visited MSG for the first time for UFC 322 and it was an awesome experience. Getting in was smooth, finding our seats was easy, and there honestly isn’t a bad view in the entire arena. Tons of food and drink options and getting out after the event was quick and hassle-free. A great venue all around.

I went here and stayed for 9 days and for my birthday weekend this past week. It was great first time visiting. I may come back again, but there were tons of food and sights to see for sure. I can see why people film movies and TV shows here. Central Park and the empire state building were my highlights for sure. Being all the way located in the Westcoast pretty much my whole life to going to the east coast. This was a totally different vibe. I throughly enjoyed myself 10/10.
Nov 17, 2025 -
We arrived at the knicks game just before the tip off so basically no lines. But the seats seemed old and worked down. Also, the concession prices are very high. Inside the arena, the scoreboard was lacking certain details such as shot attempts and 3pt attempts. The music wasn't too loud unlike Barclays which was good.

I’ve had the chance to visit two different suites here, and both offered incredible experiences in their own ways. The first suite was located behind the basket — the court view was decent, though not perfect. It had an open-buffet setup with plenty of food and drinks, and you could either help yourself or have the staff bring them right to your seat. The space wasn’t a private suite per se — more like a shared lounge area with around 30–40 people — but it was still very comfortable and even had private restrooms. The second suite I visited was a fully private one for smaller groups (around 16 people). It honestly felt like a luxury hotel room — cozy, elegant, and with excellent personal service. There was a dedicated attendant taking care of everything, and although the food selection was smaller than the first suite, the quality was noticeably higher. The only downside was that the entry felt VIP, but the exit wasn’t as exclusive — still, the overall experience more than made up for it. Madison Square Garden truly lives up to its reputation — unforgettable atmosphere and top-notch hospitality!

I mean, what can be said about the world’s most famous arena that hasn’t already been said? Madison Square Garden is not just a New York icon but a true global powerhouse. It’s the epitome of most performers’ careers. It’s the venue that the best perform at. The list of names and performers that have appeared at MSG is uncanny. Their history is all over the venue as you make your way to your seat. You’ll see photos, tickets, and memorabilia from iconic moments in MSG’s history from Knicks games to concerts to comedy shows to Rangers hockey. Madison Square Garden may be the easiest arena to get to in the United States. Penn Station is located underneath MSG, so you hop off the train, walk upstairs, attend your event, then go back downstairs to the train home. If you’re flying to NYC, your taxi driver has probably driven to MSG thousands of times. For commuters, there are dozens of parking garages in the surrounding blocks. I don’t know how the staff and security manage to make the entire process look and go as smooth as it does. The sea of humanity that attends the shows, the foot-traffic outside, helping people find their seats, and all the rest of their daily routine needs to be celebrated. Watching a show in Madison Square Garden hits different than other venues. Somehow, the venue itself is part of the experience and part of the show. You can feel the history as you walk the corridors. As you get your concessions, buy your merch, and find your seats, you get a sense of kindred spirits with the millions of fans who have come before you.

Fantastic experience. I went to a Knicks game expecting big crowds and long lines. The staff were so great. Lines were minimal and moved fast. Concession choices were great and quick. The facility was immaculate. Even leaving at the end of the night was fast and orderly. I’ve been to many sporting events but this was far and away the nicest experience.

Came in for a preseason game for the Charlotte Hornets vs. New York Knicks as a surprise gift, a pretty short wait to enter the venue and go through security. Presenting tickets for entry was seamless with Ticketmaster. We ended up eating at Mike’s Hot Honey and got the Chicken Tenders & Fries, as well as a Fried Chicken Sandwich, which were prepped ahead of time as Grab-n-Go. We also got a popcorn around Section 108-110 or so too! We sat at Section 110, Row 19, Seats 1 & 2 (the aisle seats). Great view to watch the Knicks and see them pretty up close, and they played really well last night! Crowd was amazing too!!

Beautiful place, reminds me of the foot print center in Phoenix, same type of arena, no matter where you sit you have fantastic views. The value is there. We got middle level seats around section 100 and it was perfect. Still able to appreciate the artists and record great videos with a little zoom. We loved Dimash concert, it was a great performance of 3 hours. Great venue!!

Wow, it was my first time at a concert, and it was so well-organized with Big crowds. The food courts are also well-maintained and organized. They can handle crowds of more than 22,000, so I would highly recommend it for concerts. We saw Dua Lipa's concert and it was worth the show at Madison Square Garden
Oct 03, 2025 -
We came to see a great concert and had medium level seats. We still were able to view the artist and great upclose views with the large screens. For me, the sound is of upper most importance. I was very pleased. The arena is well staffed and they all were super helpful and friendly. This was my first visit to Madison Square Gardens and I was impressed. It was very nice and well kept. Easy access, great venue!

I recently went to Madison Square Garden and had such a great experience. Honestly, there really aren’t any bad seats in the arena. • 200 Level: My favorite spot - great balance of view and sound. You can see the stage clearly without feeling overwhelmed by the volume. • 100 Level: You’re much closer to the stage, which is exciting, but the sound can get very loud depending on the show. Still, the energy down there is unmatched. • Arena overall: The space is clean, well organized, and the atmosphere is electric no matter where you sit. It feels iconic just being there. • Chase Lounge: A huge plus - comfortable, stylish, and a great place to relax before or during the event. Madison Square Garden really lives up to its reputation. I’d happily come back again and try out different sections just for the experience.

I took my daughter to the Disney, Zombies/Descendants World Tour. Ironically, I'm a 40 year+ Knicks fan and this was my first time in the Mecca aka MSG. The layout was easily accessible and staff - high there were a lot of - were extremely helpful and friendly. We started in the Delta lounge, and grabbed some concert merch, before going to our seats. The stage and setup was top notch. Disney did a phenomenal job. A good view was afforded most people, regardless of seating. Staff kept the floor clean, coming over to mop spills - which there were a lot of - right after they happened. My only grip, involved a staff member being overzealous doing her job. A few of the actresses from the franchise were in attendance - not performing - in our section. They were nice enough to take photos with kids. My daughter went over but some of the adults kept cutting in front of her with their kids. When I went to help her get to the front, the staff told me we needed to sit down. I explained the situation, but she simply stated "you need to go back to your seat, you'll get another chance later". Unfortunately, later never happened, and that exchange cost my daughter a chance for a photo with the actresses.
