I made an order which is costing me $30 in shipping and I called back in 10minutes to cancel the order and I was told that they do not cancel shipping orders. Their system do not allow this. How ridiculous is this in this time. I don’t want want to shop with them. Very inconvenient. My one order came in 5 seperate shipments. I do not recommend plus high shipping.

I had a horrible experience. The employee was extremely pushy and wouldn’t take no for an answer. When it became clear I wouldn’t be buying more she became rude and dismissive. I eventually told her I was broke and only needed a barebones Elfa closet set up. She completely ignored me and continued putting things I didn’t ask for in my cart. Had to ask her to delete the items she added without my consent. She seemed outright angry that I didn’t buy more.

Going here is always a bit of a nightmare: nothing in stock upstairs, have to speak to a “closet designer” if you want any elfa parts, takes 3-4 days for an order to be ready for pick-up if you place the order online.

There are a few employees who really know their stuff and go above and beyond to be helpful, however. Josh is one of them: we were looking for a part today that wasn’t in stock upstairs and theoretically wasn’t in stock yet downstairs, but he went out of his way to find it, find us before we left to let us know, and to bring it up to us.

Was amazed by the customer service here — especially Cheryl, who was incredibly helpful, attentive and kind. She made our shopping experience so smooth and easy.

Really fun store with cool items- only issue is everything is way too expensive.

I haven't been to this store in years. Came in tonight for a pickup and although I'm standing in the area where you're supposed to pick up your items, no one is helping me. A lady comes to the register but doesn't ask if I'm being helped just takes the next person and then the next person. A man comes on the register next to her and doesn't acknowledge me at all. So after standing there like a fool cause clearly waiting in the queue at the the designated pick-up spot is not helping. I go on the regular line as if I'm purchasing something. Thankfully the cashier was able to help me and assist with getting it to the car that was waiting on me. She's a gem! But the others who saw me and didn't ask if I needed assistance after seeing me stand there are rude. Get it together. I have over 20 yes of customer service experience and would never treat anyone like that.

This store is very pleasant and has the most helpful, patient kind and creative staff. I thoroughly enjoyed shopping here. John was above and beyond, truly helped me craft my space. Products are well designed and great solid quality.

Wonderful store, but why am I left thinking they don't have much longer to exist if their prices stay as they are?

Shoe boxes on sale hope they not thinking of getting rid of them because that would be a large mistake lots of stuff on sale staff was friendly and helpful found all the stuff I needed must go back

It’s a neat and organized store but you can’t enjoy it when there is no public bathroom. It’s completely unwelcoming to anyone with babies, toddles or kids. I honestly couldn’t reason spending my time here to shop when there’s a chance I’d have to change a diaper on their carpeted floor. It’s not a requirement, I am aware but once you have a kid, it’s hard not to take this into account when deciding where to patron.

5 stars for customer service. All of the staff members were so nice, welcoming, and helpful. John really went above and beyond! He welcomed us from the second we stepped in the building, helped us find what we needed, and checked us out. He was kind and thoughtful, explaining the sales and teacher discounts for when we come back. I definitely recommend this location!

-i bought a $180 pacsafe backpack here and was given some store discounts and the retail cost was $125!! this was a quality product, not generic stuff from target or the like
-they have an amazing selection of plastic and glass storage containers for food as well as household items, and they are all quality brand named products, not generic or budget-quality which is always going to be inferior
-they also carry clothing hangers, shoe storage, and all types of small items including very unique travel items such as a refillable toothpaste tube as well as a portable blanket

So. Many. Containers. If you’re thinking about storage or containers, just go. On the fence? Just go. More containers than I could have imagined. Ended up ordering from their online store because I didn’t want to carry them home. But the place gives you a good feel.

This place is great - so many useful things! And most importantly the customer service is awesome. Every employee met was super friendly and genuinely interested in helping me: from choosing the right items, to nice and quick check out to helping me with my purchases to Lyft car!

It's my wife's go-to. And I think it's cool too. There is a vast variety of creative ways to bring life to your space while working on becoming your best version of an organizing guru. The staff is full of life and smiles and is willing to help at every call. The customers are provided with a calm atmosphere with good lighting and background music. Most importantly, the place stays busy, which can be perceived as evidentce of a good reputation for great services. And it's well deserved.

Elfa closets are easy to install, flexible in configuration, and easy to remove. They are functional and also maximize space utilization. They often have 30% off sales on their systems.

Absolutely love the container store! It is always my first stop when setting up a new place. The coordinated colors and high quality of products make for an excellent experience and gives me an idea of how to set my home up.

The Container Store helped us revamp our old closets with their Elfa system. We re-did 3 reach in closets that each used to have 2 shelves and and a rod and transformed it into a much more functional system.

Christian C helped us design an amazing layout. Dimas was a consummate professional when he was installing the system, offering guidance on how to optimize and best lay things out based on his years of experience. When we needed to go back and add more pieces, Danielle helped us tremendously by finding the right parts and making sure we had the best discount applied. Lastly, Alessandro was so helpful in getting us checked out and packed properly so we could take everything home in the pouring rain.

Love the Container Store, especially the team at this location. Can't recommend working with them enough.

This review is for delivery from the store. Purchased $400+ worth of items. For an extra delivery fee (which would’ve been free had i ordered online), I’m disappointed the delivery person didn’t bother text/call or deliver to my door. I explicitly checked with the store clerk multiple times and they let me know the delivery person would text upon arrival and bring items to my apt door. I was home all day and no one attempted to deliver items to my apt and I also didn’t get a text. I ended up having to lug all boxes myself.

I’m a frail person and there’s a reason why I paid for the door to door service but there was no value in the additional fees I paid.

Wow. Excellent service. Well kept store. I love this store. Everyone was super friendly and courteous. The store was so clean and organized, I felt like I was in another world. It was great.

Great shop, great items and great company! It was really great to meet all of you guys, it always great shopping with you! Such a great group of shoppers! I'm sorry my sister didn't join my parents because together we could have a party. Great store!

Everything for you home. Even things you never thought about. I love this location the store is big and week organized.
The area is good a lot of good stores around good food and near the subway.
You have also delivery so it super comfortable of you buy a lot of stuff.

I love how The Container Store has products that you don't even realize you need, and in every aisle, you want just about everything...

This store is also very well organized.

The only negatives are that quite a few items seem over priced, the sales aren't great, and there was no one on the floor to ask for help about anything. It could have just been the time of day, but there were hardly any customers either, so it felt a little strange going through a deserted store.

The store itself deserves 4 stars, yet being that I circled the entire store twice looking for someone to ask a question about an item, and couldn't find someone, I had to minus a star.

I would go back if I can't find that organizational item I need, but I most likely will find it elsewhere, and it will be less expensive.

This place always seems to have just that one thing you needed for the house. That little shelf or container that's just the right size. I've gotten 2 sets of elfa systems here and both work great. They also have a nice selection of travel things as well.

It's great to have a store like this, I just wish the prices were more reasonable. When I compare their products to comprable ones at other stores, I always wonder why the Container Store products are so expensive. That being said, I have picked up some nice things here every so often. I particularly like their plastic hangers - they come in all sorts of fun colors, are well-made and durable, and very reasonably priced. I also find the store good for laundry supplies. However for some items like plastic boxes and totes, I would wait for a sale. They're just too costly for what you actually get.
