Wow ! What an amazing experience !! Highly recommend downloading an app and purchasing your tickets in advance and committing to time slot and day, be advised to arrive around 30mins before your time slot so as you don’t miss it We chose to view this at 15:40 on a clear day to get great day time views of the city followed by a 18:45 time slot to see Empire State Building for a night time view, it takes around 20-30mins to walk between the 2 buildings, you can actually use part of the “High Line” attraction to walk around on your way to the Empire State Building The Edge building has a huge shopping centre on the first 4 floors then you get into a lift that goes fast ! Up to the 100th floor ! There’s a large glass floor with the city below, are you brave enough to stand or lay down on it ? (Look at my pic where yo can see my feet standing on the edge of it)

The view was incredible — being that high up and seeing all of Manhattan is definitely worth it. The Ice Cream Museum, though, plot twist….there was no ice cream. Kind of a bold move for a place with “ice cream” in the name. They also take a group photo at the entrance for purchase. I wanted to buy ours, but the camera caught 3 out of 5 people with their eyes closed or looking away. Great timing… just not great for their bussiness.

I didn't intend to go here but I ended up buying a ticket as I was at the Hudson very early morning and tickets were available at the self service machine. I think it was £35 and the journey to the Edge was interesting. The lift had a bit of a wait as they waited for everyone. Staff very friendly and helpful. Interesting facts about the environment. I liked the lights very futuristic. It was Feb so it was chilly and windy but there was some sunshine so not freezing up there luckily. It was interesting to see the river frozen from up there. The glass floor area was a cool concept. Bits to take photos, souvenirs. Museum of ice cream props.

Went during 25° weather. Was surprisingly not cold outside. Incredible clear views. Glass was clean so excellent photos. Not crowded at all. I had a 12:30pm visit. Also was a 2 for once deal, so couldn't get any better unless they were giving away champagne.
Feb 10, 2026 -
Incredible experience 100 floors up and outside seeing all of Manhattan! The open air and the angled glass really showcases the scale of height. The entrance process was smooth and efficient. Overall completely worth it if you want a breathtaking view of NYC!
Feb 04, 2026 -
Very nice view, not sure about much else inside. It was so busy when we were there just after New Years. Hundreds of people crammed in, I think they needed to reduce the people allowed up to a smaller amount. Could hardly move around, especially inside. Took about 1hr to line up in the unofficial line to get a picture at the corner of the deck. Then getting out, the line would've taken hours until they split the line and took half us down the service elevator. Would recommend, just not when its crazy busy.

The Edge offered a promising view of the city with a bit of adventure along the way. It almost felt like I was entering a line for a highly anticipate amusement park ride. I took an elevator ride to the 100th floor of the skyscraper at 30 Hudson Yards. I toured the ice cream museum and got champagne before entering one of the highest outdoor sky decks. Enjoy your experience when you visit.

Edge was absolutely amazing! The glass floor was definitely the highlight — such a unique and unforgettable experience. The views were breathtaking, and everything felt well organized and enjoyable. I would absolutely visit again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a must-see attraction in NYC.

Highly recommend dispute us having zero visibility on our trip. Top of the list for when we return again the future. We booked for early morning but due to no visibility there wasn’t a queue so can’t comment on how it would’ve been normally. Shop at the top and somewhere to grab a drink, can imagine this is stunning when able to see! 😆 We were given the opportunity to rebook out time slot but due to our travel plans we didn’t have the availability to do this so still chose to go up!

Print with my children early enough in the morning to catch the sunrise. On December 30th 2025 There wasn't more than a 5 minute wait. We got on the elevator and the elevator walls are like a video showing the outdoors. What it would look like if it was a glass elevator. The observation deck is on the 100th floor it was a brisk morning with the temperature at 30° and a wind chill of 18° It is well worth it. You could see in every direction. There's a nice cream. Counter and they have cool souvenirs plus they take your picture before you get in the elevator with the backdrop. Looking like you guys are standing. On the platform with the city behind you and on the platform, there's even a section that is glass. Yet you can walk on and look straight down.

Such an amazing experience. My family and I came here for Thanksgiving and it was so crowded lol. Views were amazing, we spent at least 2 hours total on all of the floors. We loved the mirror ball room, but overall, loved the overlook. Great experience, especially when its not raining and at night.

We visited The Edge with our family in December 2025, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The views were absolutely breathtaking, the atmosphere was incredible, and everything was beautifully organized—but what really made our visit exceptional was the outstanding service we received. At one moment during our visit, Jenniffer C stepped in to assist us, and she made all the difference. She was incredibly polite, attentive, and genuinely kind, making us feel welcomed and cared for right away. Her professionalism and warm attitude stood out and added such a personal touch to an already spectacular experience. The Edge is an amazing destination on its own, but employees like Jenniffer C elevate it to another level. Thank you for creating such a memorable moment for our family—we will always remember it and highly recommend visiting!
Jan 05, 2026 -
We went on a Friday and I would recommend you buy your tickets in ADVANCE! We had to wait a hour to get in and we waited about 45 minutes to a hour to actually get to see the edge. It was a small exhibit on our wait which was interesting. The views were breathtaking and so beautiful! I would like to do this during the the day time as well!

We did the dining option at Peak Priceless, while it was not priceless I will say if you are looking to go, try it out, you can skip the lines and you get lunch with a fabulous view. Its definitely worth the trip to the top but try to avoid the crowded weekends and especially during holidays.
Jan 03, 2026 -
Amazing experience. Fantastic views of Manhattan. IMHO opinion one of the best rooftop/observations to do In NYC. Thoroughly loved the experience. Came for a 2nd visit around Christmas and had a phenomenal experience during the sunset. The only complaint is when it gets crowded during peak times, there aren't enough elevators to expedite the departure. We honestly queued for 40 mins to leave the viewing platform to head back down to Hudson Yards. This is genuinely the only complaint I've had during two visits, but it is absolutely worth the visit! The staff are well trained and helpful.
Dec 31, 2025 -
I went to Edge last night to see the Christmas lights, and it was absolutely stunning. The city looked magical from above—Manhattan was glowing with festive lights, and the view felt especially special during the holiday season. Standing on the glass floor and looking out over the skyline was both thrilling and unforgettable. The Christmas atmosphere made the experience even more meaningful, turning a breathtaking view into a truly memorable night. Definitely worth visiting, especially during the holidays. 🎄✨

This is now my favorite viewing deck in New York. We went in the morning and were able to purchase tickets online just a few minutes before. The elevator was a very quick ride to the 100th floor. The viewing deck itself wasn’t overly crowded so we were able to take pictures from each side and on the glass floor. I definitely recommend visiting the Edge.

We were able to come to this location as part of the C3 CityPass, where we got to pick three locations. This location was one of the more expensive locations, so I wanted to do this one because I wanted to get a better deal out of the CityPass. We had to make a reservation in advance, so we chose a morning time slot. We were able to go into the mall at Hudson Yards and enter through the fourth floor. We were able to go right in and then wait in line to go up the elevator. The elevator was quick. They also had bathrooms easily accessible at the top, which I appreciated. The views were awesome! You are able to see the most iconic buildings in the city. On part of the floor, they have some glass panels so you can stand over them and look down. Some people were apprehensive about standing over the panels, but they had a worker out there who was reassuring people that it was safe. They also had some exhibits inside, which were cute. They have a little gift shop at the top, and then a bigger one when you come back down from the elevator. Overall, we had a nice time here and would recommend it to anyone!

The Edge is NYC's most thrilling observation deck. Its cantilevered design and angled glass walls offer a heart-stopping, floating feeling 100 stories up. The views of the skyline and Hudson River are modern and unmatched. A breathtaking architectural marvel!
Dec 01, 2025 -
Despite the weather was pretty chilly, being that it was in November. The view was amazing. If you're afraid of heights I wouldn't recommend it. Other than that, the views are amazing, and they also carry pretty nice souvenirs. This also a restaurant and bar that you can attend as well...
Nov 29, 2025 -
Wow what a great place to view NYC and all the surrounds. Awesome viewing decks with 360 views and the sunset is amazing. Indoor and outdoor are available and the staff are are friendly and helpful. We went at 3 PM. We really enjoyed the experience. The building is a beautiful modern structure and the shopping and restaurants on the street and lower floors are a bonus. Definitely check it out 🇺🇸🍻

I visited The Edge in the evening, and it was absolutely magical. The city lights were stunning — New York looked more beautiful than ever from up there. The view feels unreal, especially with the open sky deck and the glass floor. Everything was well organized, the staff was friendly, and the whole experience was unforgettable. Definitely a must-see in NYC, especially at night!
Nov 25, 2025 -
Very nice building to see the city. So recommended. Not as busy like summit. During the Saturday we didn't do lines ans easy to take photos at the top. You also find others activities and photo spots inside the building.

7️⃣ / 🔟 Hello, we were here. Very nice building with a fantastic view. Bring your time, it can easily take an hour before you're up there. A little expensive, but worth it. Be prepared for large crowds. Enjoy the view, it's fantastic. Feel free to come here with your partners, friends, the whole family or alone. We'd love to come back. See you next time. ✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻

I had a lovely time visiting this place! It was a bit of a hazy morning but was definitely still worth it. The views are amazing, and it wasn’t too crowded. Right now for Black Friday, you can get 50% if you book online and use the code BLACKFRIDAY at checkout. The people at the desk were very kind helping me figure out how use it. There was alcohol and ice cream at the top. Also a cool clear panel that looks down. I would recommend going for sure.

We visited The Edge around 1 PM, and it was already quite crowded, which made it tricky to enjoy the views or take decent photos without bumping into people. The view itself is impressive, but because of the crowd and the cloudy weather, it lost a bit of its charm. Unfortunately, the glass floor was off-limits, and the stairs to the upper outdoor level were closed for a private event, both of which were among the main attractions we were looking forward to. The digital photos offered for 35 dollars looked like they were edited on Windows 95, so definitely not worth it. We had a look at the restaurant on Level 101, but the prices were steep, even by NYC standards, so we decided to skip it. On the bright side, the staff were friendly, though nothing beyond standard service. We bought our tickets online through GO City, which worked smoothly and made entry easy.

Edge is the highest outdoor sky deck in the Western Hemisphere, offering breathtaking panoramic views of New York City from the 100th floor of 30 Hudson Yards. The unique, cantilevered design of the observation deck extends 80 feet out from the skyscraper, giving visitors the thrilling sensation of floating over the city. Its frameless, angled glass walls allow for unobstructed views and the chance to lean out over the urban landscape below. The experience at Edge begins on Level 4 with a multimedia presentation that details the story of Hudson Yards before visitors are whisked up 100 stories in a 52-second elevator ride. Once on the main outdoor sky deck, thrill-seekers can walk over the a glass floor, which provides a dramatic, 1,100-foot view straight down to the street. Beyond the glass floor, the deck features Skyline Seats and an Eastern Point where guests can relax and take in the spectacular scenery, which includes the Empire State Building, Central Park, the Statue of Liberty, and the Hudson River. For those seeking an even more extreme adventure, the City Climb allows participants to scale the outside of the skyscraper to its apex, an experience not for the faint of heart. More relaxed options include sipping champagne at the indoor/outdoor bar on the 100th floor or dining at the fine-dining restaurant Peak on the 101st floor. Combining innovative design with an incredible vantage point, Edge offers a truly unforgettable perspective on New York City.

The Edge is absolutely spectacular — I’ve never been on an observation deck quite like it. It’s so spacious and open, with glass walls all the way around that give you completely unobstructed views of New York. The feeling of being outdoors, with the wind and the height, is really something special. The only downside for me was the loud music and the small stand selling champagne or tequila shots — it took away a bit from the majesty of the view. I understand it’s probably meant to appeal to a younger crowd, but I personally would’ve preferred a quieter atmosphere to take it all in. Still, it’s an amazing experience overall, and absolutely worth visiting for the incredible views alone.

We could see the edge from our hotel room so we chose this view activity. It was fantastic. The weather was perfect. The views were phenomenal. The decorated photo op spots were fun. We had a great time and got some good pics. The Edge is well organized with friendly, helpful staff to guide you to the top. LOVED THIS VIEW!!! I even stood on the glass floor.

Loved this whole experience. The elevator whizzes up a 100 floors in seconds. The views were spectacular, there was atmosphere of childlike wonder. People seemed fascinated by the little bit of glass floor where they were having pictures taken, and some were afraid to step on it 😃. There were just the right number of helpful and pleasant attendants, and the bathrooms were convenient. The area around the building is beautiful. There is a park nearby called the High Line, where a freight train used to run in the old days. There is the subway station there now. And there's a paved area with benches out front, where we saw people sitting, eating their snacks or watching others marvel at the beautiful, wiggly circular glass building there. Reminded me of Dubai, with rows of sparkling glass buildings housing posh stores and offices. I like the vibe of the Hudson Yards area.
