I’ve got a great Prinary Doctor Dr Sapana Shah who leads me through a healthy kind of lifestyle eating hence the results of my labworks are good. I got all my Vaccines and Prescriptions covered from Bellevue Hospital Thank you NYC Care

I liked the mental health care here they made my stay interesting. However, I felt it was an awkward experience and I didn't understand the culture. The other patients were often times annoying and they were allowed to insult or ridicule other patients lol how is that therapeutic? I understand they're sick but so am I. I'm not a doctor but there's a point you let people go to another more permanent hospital. I'm sorry it's a hard decision I guess and it's not my place. Best of luck to all I just wanted to give my view. Again, culture is subjective but more importantly I felt Bellevue didn't want me there and my record shows. They accept everyone else though. I just thought that was interesting alas be well and take care.

I have been visiting Bellevue hospital over 5 yrs always received great service .the staff has treated me with respect and willing to help when needed .I have had the same Doctor too im pleased overall

I'm not a doctor or medical professional but I feel that the treatment that I received from Kings County and Bellevue Hospitals were Five-Star. I was there from the 1st of February to February 13th 2026. I believe that they put me on the path of improving my life with corrective surgery and exceptional after-care treatment.

Amazing place! I've never felt as comfortable in a hospital setting as I did there! They were also able to help with something I didn't think would be able to happen, and made it simpler than I could've ever hoped for. Thanks Bellevue!!!

This time I visited Bellevue hospital because I needed to make sure how I was doing with ITU symptoms. I finished my 2nd treatment and days later I was uncomfortable. Taking good advantage my son went to see his dad, after few trips back and forth I was able to show up. After I was seeing by doctor then nurse, it was okay, that nurse was a male named Marco in E.R., he's 👍 good!. After 2 hours I was starving and feeling dizzy. I asked a volunteer guy for a vending machine, instead he offered me some foods, Another nurse refused that offer, then nurse Marco came in with kindness gave me a sandwich 🥪, . Diabetes patients should be treated kindly, all patients deserve it but Diabetes patients are more delicated. 1st and 2nd doctors I saw, they were good 👍. But that nurse who refused to assist me, God have mercy on him, people are heart hardened and heartless. Now for that nurse Marco, I wish all blessings 🙌 🙏 ❤️ , now and always. He should be head of all nurses. His performance was outstanding, it was great, it was excellent, it was good 👍 👏.

My partner suffered a massive stroke a month ago and was brought to Bellevue ICU neuro dept . That department saved his life . I am forever grateful and was thoroughly impressed with staff attending to him there . I also like that visiting hours on that floor is 24/7. Then he was moved to a stroke floor was there for about 2 weeks but I really didn’t like the vibe there . Then he was moved to the 6th floor physical therapy and all the PCA’s were so attentive and caring to his needs . I felt confident with him being there . I can’t remember all their names but Segura was wonderful !! Excellent bedside manner . My only issue is the PT team working with him thought it be best for him to be transferred to a sub acute nursing home because he wasn’t interacting with them during PT . He just had a stroke he’s not 100% and I felt they just gave up on him too quickly. That really bothered me . The only reason I gave 4 stars is because as mentioned Bellevue saved his life and the PCA’s God bless them all . They were the best!

Very long visit because of a broken nose and split lip - watch out for sidewalk cracks as you are out and about! The doctors and nurses were good, but it really should have taken less then 10 hours. About four of those hours were waiting on an ENT doctor to sew up my lip and evaluate the broken nose. One thing that was really bad was that someone had a fecal accident in a hallway and the housekeeping guy that came by to clean it up refused to clean it up. He just took the "chuck" that was put on top of it and left the poop. Finally after about an hour a nurse was good enough to clean it up. That housekeeping guy needs to be fired. Otherwise, it was long, boring and fairly good care. Got shuffled around a lot... I was technically a trauma case but I was low priority since I was pretty stable. (Which is the best you can hope for in the ER. You never want to be one of the tough cases.)

A ENT doctor at Bellevue told me that my 10 year old kid needed a sleep study done. He gave me two numbers to call. I've called those two numbers dozens of times and left messages on both lines, because no one ever picked up. And two months later I'm still waiting for them to call me back so I can set up this very important appointment for my kid. I have been sending messages through mychart and still no progress. I'm pretty sure bellevue gets sued all the time because of how horrible they are with people's care.

My experience is always positive. Nurses, doctors and personal are always good and nice. Very proactive and polite towards me. The positive vibes and energy are there for the patient

I was brought to Bellevue by an ambulance after a serious injury. I had never had any treatment at the hospital and believed it was a “safety net hospital” offering care to the city’s poor and uninsured residents. After now experiencing its expert trauma care and follow up care for my many varied injuries for 18 months, I can attest to the excellence of the care I received by the neurology, orthopedics and ENT departments. The care was also more empathetic than almost any care I have received over a lifetime’s health encounters. In the end, I am grateful that the ambulance brought me to Bellevue when I could not play any role in guiding my own care.

Since it was an emergency and had no choice I ended up in Bellevue on 1st Ave I didn’t wake up for maybe the second day in ICU. They saved my life to start. The whole staff were absolutely amazing at times I would have thrown myself out a window but they were cool calm and very professional Then in the regular hospital room still not able to walk. The 10th floor around the clock staff were just angles put on this earth. A shout out to O’Neal head nurse (I think) marvelous 🌹 Hospital wise if you need one. I would recommend there as it maybe a city hospital You are treated like you’re the only one there. Kido to all the staff and the facilities

Due to the neglect of a young Doctor of the ER, I was really late with picking up my beautiful daughter with Special Needs. I kept telling the staff members too let her know that, I had to leave at a certain time to get my daughter off of her school bus. This young Doctor seemed to have "bad" bed side Manor and simply like she just didn't care. This is a "Pro-active"Mother's worst nightmare!

Very professional the wait was a bit long but for a first time dental patient they still did amazing with an extraction gave great information when asked questions pertaining to your procedure and aftercare, definitely would recommend and absolutely will be making this my main dental clinic 😌‼️

From receptionist, to pre-op nurse, to surgeon and attending, and lastly to discharge, each one made sure I was comfortable for my procedure. Outpatient dermatology surgeon was a success and very little discomfort after the procedure which was a scalp cyst removal. I’ve only had to take pain medication once in 24 hours and I have a very low threshold for pain. Thank you dermatology team!

The Er staff was great but when we went to the floor no one is helpful. Also you are sitting there starving no shower, tired from sleeping on the chair. They have 50 staff members coming to you, harassing you, asking you to repeat the same story 1,000 times about why you are here? Can you tell me again what happened it is awful!!! like you are being interrogated by detectives. I finally had to start sending everyone away except for the Neuro, the Doctor of the unit, and the nurse caring for my son. That needs to stop; it makes you stressed, and you go to the hospital to get better, not stressed by all the students and everyone coming at you. It's disgusting. Write it down so the patient and or parent does not have to tell the story 30 times all day and night, and the next day, another set of people all day. It's straight harassment and ABUSIVE! I DON'T EVER want to go to Bellevue again. Then, when you ask for help with something, no one wants to help you, and they don't.

So far I have great experiences with all the doctors, nurses and therapist working at Bellevue. They are polite and helpful to me whenever I went to my doctor appointments. The problem is that there's a bit of longwait on my appointment especially at the orthopedic.

We had a great experience. There’s this staff from dental department who has the same birthday of my daughter she’s very nice and gentle to kids. All medical staff are very accommodating made my daughter feel safe and comfortable. They arranged our future schedule efficiently. Doctor is so kind and so concerned with my daughter’s situation. Educate me and explained me clearly and give me the best advise for my child’s dental treatment. The hospital is clean and well systematic . I highly recommend

This place is so helpful with your issues. Also this place has been around for decades. It's helped many newyorkers live life the right way. Im so happy with Bellevue Hospital. I also love the way they give you a special walk way down memory lane with history... It gives me joy in my heart to see all those nurses and doctors 💛 taking care of all of New York patients. And all those children. Thank you Bellevue Hospital.

There are some nurses that need to be taught how to how to better deal with patients. They don’t listen from my experience they didn’t do the job sufficient for the most part a lot of them were just there to collect their paychecks. To me personally if you wanna work in this type of field you need to understand what comes with that and you have to be dedicated to your craft. Don’t get me wrong there are a ton of great nurses there and very hard workers but in my stay I didn’t experience the great nurses often. Even had to complain on multiple occasions to the point that higher ups and even one of the CEO’s had my problems brought to their attention. Which they definitely fixed and thank you to them. The ICU staff was incredible but when put in a regular everyday room. It was a nightmare for the most part. But I am thankful to my doctors and certain nurses that treated me like family on my road to recover🙏🏾❤️!!!!!

I had a wonderful experience at this hospital! Both the security staff and doctors were incredibly helpful, professional, and courteous. The facility is large, well-organized, and very clean. Overall, it’s an excellent hospital that provides great care for everyone.

Everyone was really helpful and informative. Left very comfortable on where to go, what’s happing with my procedures, who I’m speaking with and why. Overall a very good experience. During the one night stay, I would say the only down side was the night crew, I had a problem with my mask and after 15mins of waiting no one came to help. I had to help myself. Another thing was that I over heard two nurses talking about me saying that I didn’t want to leave and that I was doing something on purpose, but it was my first surgery ever, I want not on my usual medication and the anesthesia took a long time to get out of my system. It was an unnecessary comment and they should have been a little more understanding about my situation.

I had a very good experience with Dr. Sarah Moore at Bellevue. She was patient, professional, and really took the time to listen to my concerns. The staff was also helpful, and the visit went smoothly. Thank you for the great care!

I am very happy with the service at this hospital. The entire staff is very friendly, especially the nurses and doctors. They pay close attention to the patients and answer any questions we may have. I truly recommend it and will continue to come back whenever I need to. 😉

I had an amazing experience with both the security personnel and doctors here. They were very helpful and professional. The hospital is big and organize. Overall, it’s a good hospital for all.
