Customer service was amazing. She was very calm, understanding, and patient. This service is amazing. I was able to receive help on getting off the freeway feeder in less than 30 minutes.

They really need to get better about following up on tow company complaints. Had a car towed off the freeway due to flat tire. The company Fasttow has been unresponsive the video of the damage occurring on the muffler and under body of car while being towed. The city claimed to ask them for insurance when I filed a towing complaint but have not recieved any other guidance or updates from them after I told them how fast tow denied everything even though there is a live video of damage occurring.

Thank you so much for helping me today in 20° weather! The exhaust system fell off of my truck today while I was on 610W near the Kirby exit. The tailpipe was wedged against the rear axle and I couldn't get it moved by myself. I was in a construction zone, there was barely a shoulder, and traffic was starting to pick up. I was so afraid of being struck by another vehicle. I was on hold with my insurance company requesting a tow, when Safeclear arrived to save the day! The Safeclear man was so kind. He angled his truck so that traffic would go around us and give a little room. Then he grabbed his gloves and helped me get the exhaust dislodged from underneath my truck. We put it in the bed and off I went! So quick, simple, and helpful. I was even able to make it to my important doctor appointment on time. Thank you so much!

I am so happy with SafeClear. Yesterday I was scared and at a total loss as to how I could safely get off the freeway when my car broke down on the exchange of I10 to 610 Northloop. There was no shoulder and I was in a blind spot where other drivers couldn't see me until they were right behind me. I called my mechanic who said his wrecker was out of town, he told me to wait for safeclear, I did for a bit, then I called. The dispatcher was very respectful and professional, calmed me down and told me help was on the way. It wasn't long until a very nice young man pulled up, he was reassuring, and professional, he made me feel safe. Another Safeclear driver showed and blocked traffic enough so I could be escorted to the first wrecker. I was terrified, traffic doesnt stop.. Afterwards, I was taken to the first exit, he dropped my car in a restaurant parking lot where I was able to safely arrange for my car and myself to go where I needed to go . There was NO charge for this!!! I was very blessed to have Safeclear there when I needed them. I wish I could remember his name. I had a flat on the side of the freeway and a safe clear employee came to help free of charge and even changed my tire. So grateful he was there since my insurance was no help. He was great! Really appreciated it.

"SAFE" should not be a part of their name! Idiot driver was stopped on I45 north service road at FM2351. Decided to run the red light to go east on 2351, ignoring the oncoming traffic and drivers who had to slam on brakes to avoid hitting him (thank God we all did). Oh, he was in a raging hurry to beat the other tow truck drivers to an accident on Beamer road. No flashing lights, horn or anything else, just blasted through the intersection. He placed human life below the almighty dollar. In his mind, no doubt he justifies it as an "emergency". In my mind, it was attempted murder. Couldn't get company name or license plate But it was a white truck with yellow writing on door and big blue "Safe Clear" on back window.

This is more of a review for the driver than the actual towing company. I pulled over to the side of the fwy due to a strong gas smell coming from the inside of my car. And shortly after there was a wreck right behind me, the tow truck driver responsible for one of the cars in that accident came over to see if I needed any help. At the time, I thought my insurance company was sending someone so I told him no. And the police came by to tell me that they would have to send someone to tow my car if no one was coming to rescue me. So after 2 hours and being on the phone with 5 diff people, I was still stranded on the fwy because the initial towing guys couldn’t locate me. Low and behold, the driver from the previous accident came back to ask if I needed help again. Turns out he’s with the company that I’d been waiting for all along. The driver’s name was Zekiel Salazar. Thank goodness he came back for me or else I wouldn’t have been able to get home!

It took over 1 hour and 4 phone calls to get someone to come and tow my car with my 6 year old and me from the freeway. When he did get there, he was upset that we had called another tow truck and wanted to call the police and have us ticketed for failure to move the car. He did finally tow the car off the freeway and the mechanics tow truck picked us up from there. I thought the Safe Clear was supposed to be fast and safe. Not sure how safe it was for us to be on I10 in the left lane for 1 1/2 hours.

A large piece of "angle iron" not properly anchored down to a flat bed 18 wheeler fell and hit the highway on I-45 nearing I-10 East exit. The car in front of me dodged it; but I was not able to. It hit my driver's side front wheel. It bent the wheel and the tire went flat. I pulled over and turned my emergency flashers on. In a matter of minutes, a Safe Clear wrecker pulled up. He towed my car to a safe place and fixed the flat. He said the fee was $50. I paid him on a credit card. His name is Lyle Mason. He was polite and did the job quickly. I was on my way within 20 minutes.

Rude people

unable to access due to phone is busy every time I try. Husband stuck on East Freeway today without help. Tripple A will not access HOV lane. frustrating about busy phone. Please contact us
